I’m completely blown away! 🤯I’ve seen the term drabble (100-word short fics) all over fanfiction for ages, and I just found out it originated from Monty Python’s Big Red Book…

(Well it was later defined as 100-word fiction by sci-fi fandom)

AND the first time I ever came across "drabble" was actually in Monty Python fanfics too…

It’s insane how Python (the programming language), spam (junk mail) and drabble all trace back to Monty Python. Absolute legends.

It’s interesting that Saturn Devouring His Son is ALSO the most terrifying artwork that first came to my mind.

I saw it for the first time in a Korean comic years ago, back then I knew nothing about art. It was used as a symbol for a toxic father-and-son relationship in the comic. Then I looked up the full artwork online and learned the backstory.
