Love making things from cardboard. A fairly easy to use material, and superglue works wonders on it.
When a theatre group wants golden objects, we make golden objects. A golden egg, and ‘large’ golden coins for a production of into the woods
Made some masks for a production. The wolves are coming.
Destiny fanart. The OH so brilliant Azoth Bend warlock helmet
A quick outfit sketch I did for someone, as a brief view. It's a slytherin inspired outfit, hence the greens, the greys, and the leadwood (a grey/silver wood) buttons
An old watercolour
A couple pictures from my recent work experience placement, for a video editor role. While that happened, I did a lot of audio logging aswell, which saved a lot of time, by pinpointing a lot of audio cues, that was other to what video was being edited
this was another coursework project from last year. the aim of the unit of work was to originate, and execute, a short 10-15 second channel ident for broadcaster E4. lots of the design ideas were influenced by the channel, and how its branded already (eg: the heavy use of the colour purple to tie in with the channels associated colour branding) the entire set up was made my by myself, from the painted backdrop, to the plasticine cow, and the hand stitched flying saucer.
a video project from last years coursework, to make some form of factual programming.
the process to make this was a long one. the idea was originated as something else, entirely. one that i would enjoy revisiting, at some point, to see if i can do the idea any justice.
the roles i took on for this project were sound, interviewer, and cameraman, under my own direction. the editing was done alongside a classmate, who helped sort out the basic timeline with me.
playing with a 3D modeling program this evening, and came out with a seasonally apropriate ‘first go’
It's Roald Dahl day at step sisters school, tomorrow, and I was tasked with making the youngest a felicity fox outfit. Started from scratch. Had to make some alterations (those triangly bits on the side so it was easier to walk in)
So I've finally started it. FINALLY. It's something I've been planning for literal months.
production log so far, and scheduling from now
11/3 was a day for pre production work. lots of pre production (will edit to include full list of pre prod sheets complete.
14/3 directing/camera assistant, for our own work fr cutaway shots, and afternoon, camera assistant, and sound assistant (radio mics) for the Tea Time with Tom Taylor-Randall chat show.
15/3 during the interview, i was interviewer. questionning the subject.
18/3 today. i aim to capture the interview footage, look it through, and then begin to edit the footage. to remove the unnecessary parts, and the bits that dont add to the narrative (edit: achieved somewhat. didnt get much chance for editing, because 20GB file needs lots of time to do anything)
Creating a Jack Frost hoodie. Night one. Cut the sleeves down, hemmed, and opened up the neck. Then using white to start with, outlined the pouch pocket, latex down an icey pattern, and then started around the neck. Whenever night two is, I’m expecting to get done completely with the neck and the back of the neck, and maybe the hood. I feel like that’s going to be the most difficult to paint.
fawn make up test. 05/09/15
as a quick first attempt, id say its gone well. ill acquire some more equipment, and put some effort in next time.
