Australia’s Lake Hillier is mysteriously pink. Most of the world’s pink lakes are rich in salt and attract bacteria that only look pink during certain temperatures. Lake Hillier is also very salty, but its color never changes. The cause has yet to be defined. Source

On the bright side, our wall chicken turned out juicy and delicious despite being entombed in Dracula’s fortress for who-knows-how-long.

CINNAMON-BUTTERSCOTCH PIE

Last time I checked, goats weren’t known for their cooking. Eating tin cans maybe, but not making pies that a single piece of can restore all of your health. That makes Toriel, the motherly anthropomorphic goat woman who dwells in The Ruins in Undertale, a very special goat.

I was a bit dubious about this one at first, but the second it was finished and photographed, half of the pie mysteriously disappeared into our mouths. It’s sweet without being overwhelming and the cinnamon whipped cream gives it a delicious little kick. I actually made a tart rather than a pie, because it’s easier to finish a slightly smaller slice of tart rather than a huge gooey piece of pie. If you’d like to have it as a proper pie, just use a pre-made pie shell. Recipe under the cut!

What if Cookie Cats were invented by an unknown gem?

If you listen closely to the Cookie Cat theme song, the mascot is described as "a refugee from an interstellar war" who " came to this planet from outer space" and "left his family behind."

What if after Rose Quartz went, an unmentioned gem went their separate way to another city, adapted to human life, and invented the Cookie Cat to honor the memory of Rose? After all, the color scheme of the ice cream in a Cookie Cat does match that of Rose's.

This is one of the scariest games I've ever played! It's a game that's so scary that the developers had to release patches for the game and put the more intense scares into the locked higher difficulties because people were to scared to play the game. Originally you'd have to simulate a Korean PC cause the game was only released there, but thanks to UnamedGS, now we can play it with american PC's! The game is a bit buggy, but it's still scary as hell! I still haven't beaten it. Happy Halloween everyone!

After Sixpenceee made a post about a lesser known creepy animated movie called The Blackwater Gospel, I thought I'd share my own lesser known creepy animated film.

It's a 25 minute long anime film that showed up on Toonami back on Halloween 2005. I remember this the most because I watched it back then..Alone..In the dark..with my candy...

Anyway, It's a very good gem that has a unique concept based on Japanese urban legends, and dat twist ending scared the hell out of 7 year old me.

Definitely worth a watch if you love Japanese urban legends and abandoned towns.
