hey friends where is that picture of boromir with the gondor flag except its a pride flag?
Couldn’t find it so I made another because you’re right that it’s a crime and it’s definitely my duty to remedy it
HASTINGS HAS A MUSTACHE???
In The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, Dr. Sheppard describing Hercule Poirot: ”Sometimes he reminded me of a cat with his green eyes and peculiar mannerisms.”
So. Catboy Poirot? Is this anything?
Happy to inform you that cat boy Poirot is canon.

thinkin about lestrade totally knowing holmes and watson are gay from the start and going on an arc of disgust to mild acceptance to full understanding just because their love is so powerful and passionate and loyal that it changes his whole entire worldview to the point that he doesnt really feel like arresting anyone for sodomy ever again
watson: it was not that he felt any emotion akin to love for irene adler. all emotions, and THAT ONE PARTICULARLY, were ABHORRENT to his cold, precise but admirably balanced mind
holmes: watson im sorry i said your writing was too romantic please come back to bed
"I have never loved, Watson, but if I did and if the woman I loved had met such an end, I might act even as our lawless lion-hunter has done. Who knows?"
- Sherlock Holmes in The Adventure of the Devil's Foot (1910) (-> lawless lion hunter killed the man who killed the woman he loved)
"By the Lord, it is as well for you. If you had killed Watson, you would not have got out of this room alive."
- Sherlock Holmes in The Adventure of the Three Garridebs (1924)
Jeeves and Bertie’s homoromantic adventure~

my fatass thumbs pressed something wrong on my phone to summon that gif and actually nvm that's much funnier than what I was going to say.
I’m tired of people pretending mel king is not hot just the way she is. she is stunning. she would do AMAZING on the lesbian scene. “give her a glow up” no. she is perfect. she looks like an angel. the other doctors are blessed to be in her presence. if langdon gets her he is LUCKY 🙂↔️
I will say one of the most profound moments of an Author talking to the Reader that ever hit me was one that was likely completely unintentional, which is in Agatha Christie's Mr Quin short stories (very good they need more attention) the main character Sattertwaite has a line about imagining a crime happened recently as opposed to a year ago and Quin responds with [and this is paraphrased] "No let us go the other way, let us imagine the crime happened a century ago and that we are looking at it from the Year 2025" and that hit so hard when I was listening to an audiobook of it in the Year 2025.
