I feel like a lot of these trans fics on scribblehub have a solid thing going but then they stop kind of abruptly once the MC cracks their egg. I cracked my egg a full 5 years ago and my life definitely became more eventful after that. My story started there, if anything. So it feels weird to me how many of these fics seemingly have nothing left to say after the MC realizes what the deal is. Idk
People who aren't trans tell our stories and they think the end of the first act is the actual end and they stop writing. It's like if The Wizard of Oz ended with the tornado and Dorothy never got to see colors.
These stories are not written by cis people.
Alrighty, nobody asked for this, but I like making lists, so here are some of my favorite trans stories that don't end after the egg cracks.
Demon Bound: Trans girl finds out her awful parents sold her soul to a demon before she was born, they fall swiftly in love.
Most of QuietValerie's work: One of the most popular authors on scribblehub, she writes a ton of trans YA stuff, featuring superheroes, science fiction shenanigans, and modern fantasy stuff. Most of her protags figure it out pretty fast. I'd recommend Kammi Kettu, Lieforged Gale, Ryn of Avonside, or Trouble With Horns
Forged in the Light of New Stars: I'm just gonna pull a quote from the synopsis. "Forged is a t4t lesbian isekai story set in a magitech world and it is also a far future sequel to The Hatchling." It's quite good, one of the protags is closeted at the start, the other is egg. Good stuff.
Gaining a Twin: Teenage trans girl tries to get a magical transition. It works. Kinda. Somehow, she ended up getting cloned in the process, so now she's a pair of twin sisters.
Horns in the Library: Technically, this story doesn't belong on this list, but it has a sequel that follows the same characters. Egg gets turned into a succubus by a succubus librarian lady. It's meant to be temporary, but it didn't end up that way.
Power Up!: By the same author who wrote To Own the Libs, it's a riff on the classic power rangers/sentai formula, featuring a trans girl who's asked to become the new Defender Red, after her identical twin brother (the old Defender Red) was killed in action. This one grapples a lot with dysphoria, as the Defender Red suit makes her look like her brother, so it gets a bit heavy at times, but it's really damn good.
Performative Masculinity: By the same author once again, performative masculinity is a high school romance between a closeted trans girl, and a closeted trans boy. Both try to conceal their trans status by posturing as buff, macho dudes, and it's got some real enemies to lovers vibes.
Roommates: Three dudes move in together, except one of them is actually a trans woman. As she begins to present more femme and eventually comes out to to them, romantic shenanigans ensue.
Sovereign of Wrath: Closeted trans woman dies violently, but is reborn as an exceptionally powerful demon of wrath. Now she has to build her new life, and maybe reconnect the old family she has left. Also, she falls in lesbians with a half angel. I love them.
Sisters of Dorley: Everyone who reads trans fic on ScribbleHub knows Dorley, and if you don't, you should. Go get force femmed in a dorm basement. Do it now.
Agrossa Thrinakie: This last one is one of mine. A pair of lesbians, one cis and one trans, travel to Greece to seek out Artemis. The cis one to escape her family, and the trans one to get herself magically transed. When they find the goddess, she agrees, but tells them they need to complete a trial first before sending them back in time.
There are others, but these are my favorites. If anyone has any other suggestions, I'd love to expand my own reading list. If this is unwanted, feel free to ignore, but I thought I'd share the stories I liked.
PLEASEEEE Show us more of Steve's dog, Wulf! How long did Steve have them around, what were they like, how did they die? Does Steve have any other pets?
Here are.... 1% of Steve's adopted animals! There's way more, as a general rule Steve tries to collect at least a pair of every animal. And they are a completionist, so they're gonna want Every one.
Wulf has been with Steve the longest of any of them, she's their best friend and most loyal companion, and has a big family herself. Although of course, it wasn't always this Wulf.
