In honour of ‪Oscars‬ day, here's a throwback to The Academy Awards 2012 when Rooney Mara was nominated in the ‪'‎Best Actress‬' category for her leading role as 'Lisbeth Salander' in David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo... and appeared on the red carpet looking beautiful in her Givenchy gown, under the watchful eye of her boyfriend Charlie McDowell. ‪#‎Cuteness‬‪ #‎ILoveThisPic‬

I remember watching the 2012 ceremony (and red carpet) more intently than any other year as my favourite actor ever, Gary Oldman, was nominated in the ‪'Best Actor‬' category. ♥

...I remember specifically taking note of Rooney, because her boyfriend Charlie's mother happens to be my absolute favourite actress ever, Mary Steenburgen!!! ♥  ...Mary is the reason I have wanted to become an actress... ever since I watched the Back to the Future trilogy when I was 7, and the moment her 'Clara Clayton' fell in love with 'Doc Brown' ...that was it, my future was determined! ...And Charlie's dad happens to be Gary Oldman's favourite actor, Malcolm McDowell! As a child, Gary decided he wanted to be an actor after watching Malcolm on tv! 

Never in a million years did I dream that I would be fangirling over these things with Rooney as her co-star whilst filming The Secret Scripture exactly two years later... ♥ ‪#‎Blessed‬ ‪#‎GodsWaysAreNotOurWays‬ ‪#‎TheyreBetter‬!
