i was just thinking about this scene in chainsaw man

i know loads of people were weirded out by this, but honestly it makes sense to me.

I have an older brother myself, and so this dynamic reflects our childhood in a way. When we were young, because we were so close in age, it was normal for us to share a bath together.

I think that this scene shows that sort of dynamic as power and denji are still little kids in the sense of their sibling relationship.

what i mean by that is that they had only been living together for a very short amount of time. so it’s basically like they’re newborns in terms of their family dynamic.

this was also the period of time in which power and denji started to get closer (i theorise that makima had something to do with power’s behaviour), and so they’re happy just existing together without looking for what they want to take from one another.

i really like this dynamic because it’s nice to see that denji is able to have a non-sexual relationship with someone, and is able to find peace in that
