So what if i write a fanfic about an angle in the shape of a little boy that looks alike a lot to simon when wille is a little kid and have nighmares (because of a horror movie he saw in Erik's PC). That angle spend nights with wille singing for him and talking to him till the point that his nighmares fades away completley. The angle saves him from his nighmares and monsters he saw in darkness.

Then when he goes to hilershka and sees simon for the first time ,he immediatly thinks about that angle. He tries really hard to get close to simon for a very long time. But wouldn't tell him about that angle for a while of course; beacuse he thinks that simon would find it very ridiculous. Even he himself isn't sure how that could be possible! But when he sees simon's actual childhood picture in their house, he can't help it anymore so ....

The sharp change of colors from warm tones while dreaming of simon to cold ones when he wakes up alone; just like the dreamy music that fades away and turns into the loud and annoying noise of the vacuum cleaner, bringing wilhelm back to reality.

I know people have already said so many things about this but the fact that dreams are supposed to be the projection of your deepest desires and Wilhelm's was just.......being with Simon and loving him with all the tenderness. Sometimes dreams confront you with your own desires, so deeply engrained in your brain yet the very thought of which embarrasses you, which you may or may not accept as such. And even his subconscious treats Simon with utmost care and wonder. It could have been very much just a sexually-driven wet dream, which is not a bad thing at all, just a projection of his subconscious. But it was so whimsical, and tender and just so......lovestruck. He really meant it with his whole being when he said "I love you" to Simon outside the chapel.

it is wilhelm’s initiative; the height difference that has wille leaning down and simon up a bit for their lips to meet; the arm’s grab lasting until they restart to walk; the camera going out of focus, it gives me such authentic and natural vibes and idk but i love it; simon’s the one being surprised and worried to check if anyone saw them, while wille takes the very first moment after the kiss to look at his reaction instead; the sound of wilhelm’s laugh.

wille being the young, goofy, funny true self. the one his royal life doesn’t allow him to be, the one simon had and fell in love with.

hand shots in yr are superior and so on point, always. here it’s shown in the way they alone could still express all the carefree, positive and playful energy this scene holds.

one of the best shots ever, aesthetically and emotionally speaking. i think this truly felt like a ‘we did it’ kind of moment for them: they’re at their happiest, lost in their bubble, being each other’s safe place. they had it all.

they’re so comfortable around each other and for this to be the reason why simon’s instinctive reaction is to get closer and lean on him? it’s beautiful.

After watching the locker room scene for as many times as I did, I think I finally figured out why this scene wrecks my heart every time. This scene is the first and the only time we see Simon lean on to Wilhelm for comfort. 

Up until this point, Simon has always been the one giving comfort in this relationship (Think ‘i want you to hold me’, think the hug after ‘I don’t want to lose you), and it makes complete sense because Wilhelm lost someone and is the one grieving. But during the locker room scene, they are hurt together and Simon seeks comfort from Wilhelm. The thing that stings is how quickly that is taken away from him. Not two seconds later, Simon pulls away from Wille, having to assure him that they did nothing wrong.

And as hurt as Simon was, as soon as Wilhelm’s head hits his shoulder, he once again becomes the one giving comfort. Not just here in the locker room, but also later when he comes say goodbye to Wille before he leaves for the palace. Looking at a broader picture this makes sense. Simon has other people in his life that give him comfort, while Wille has literally no one. But looking at just their relationship, this is a big imbalance. 

I love Wille with all my heart and will protect him to the end of time. But, in season 2 I need to see him not just fighting to be with Simon, but also showing Simon that he will be loved and cared for when they get back together. I need to see Simon break down and Wille to be the one giving comfort without asking for anything in return.

Wilhelm's need to be held is portrayed so vividly. Through the ways he holds himself and the way he clings to others. Not only Simon but, the headmistress, Eric and Felice.

The way he responds to hugs (which Edvin does such a good job at) is so desperate. His body language reads,

"Please hold onto me. I'm falling apart."

It's absolutely heartbreaking.

Imagine if Wilmon’s first kiss in s2 is a parallel to their first kiss in s1 but with the roles reversed. Wille kisses Simon first, but Simon doesn’t know what to do. His mind is going a mile a minute replaying all of the bad that came with him kissing Wilhelm months ago. Yet, he doesn’t run away. So Wille leans in and kisses him again. It’s more tender this time and Simon kisses him back. They’re slowly remembering what’s it’s like to kiss one another. But then something happens to startle them out of their trance again, maybe a noise outside the window. Giving them flashbacks to when their privacy was violated that early morning. It was just a squirrel, but now Wille is unsure of himself. Unsure if Simon is in the same place as he is. So finally Simon takes the lead, like he did the first time so many months ago, and kisses Wille.

i’m thinking about wilhelm today. about how he followed felice to make sure she was okay at the parent’s lunch even though they weren’t friends. about how even in the wake of his brother’s death he was kind, and gentle, and offered felice his coat because she was cold. about how he looks at simon with such reverence when they’re together, like he can’t believe that simon wants to be with him. about him making simon a sandwich for breakfast and wrapping it with so much care, and getting grumpy when he couldn’t immediately give it to him. about “i’m not supposed to speak on political matters” and “sorry, i’m not - fuck, i’m not-“ and “i want you to hold me.”

i’m especially thinking about how much he craves touch, and love, and affection. about how he melted into that hug with the headmistress because the one thing he needed at that time was physical affection and his own mother couldn’t, or wouldn’t, give it to him. how he has panic attacks, and rubs his chest, and spreads his arms wide because someone must have told him it helps. how being with simon was the one thing he felt he had some semblance of control over, and how that control was ripped from him in the cruelest of ways.

i’m thinking about how strong and how brave he is to give a speech to his peers after his brother’s death. about how he said “it feels so wrong that i’m the one still here, instead of him.” about how much he struggles and agonises over his love for simon because loving simon feels as easy as breathing, but the weight and the pressure of the life he is being forced to lead never eases. about how he probably doesn’t think that he’s worthy of simon’s love, and how losing him was almost unbearable.

there’s something about how he extends kindness to everyone he meets. about how he sees the way simon stands up for himself and for others and falls in love with that fire, that defiance. how he tried to give simon advice with his studies. how he went out of his way to sit with simme at the parent’s lunch, made sure simon’s mum was comfortable. how he said simon was singing from his heart. how he holds himself and rubs his hands up and down his arms because he’s always subconsciously looking for physical contact to steady him.

he’s strong, but there’s a softness to him that remains untouched by all of the pain he’s been through. i hope he doesn’t lose that softness.

Destiel = Brokeback Mountain, do what you want about it

After I was shocked to realize today that the shot of Castiel by the lake in 12x23 was suspiciously similar to a shot from everyone’s favourite cowboy gay melodrama, I decided to go through the seasons to see if I can find more similarities.

I found the entire movie, minus the sex scenes, the making out scenes, the skinny dipping scenes, and the ogling-each-other-naked scenes. I found however keeping-your-dead-lover’s-clothes scenes, sexually-charged-fist-fighting scenes, looking each-other-in-the-eyes-way-too-long-while-licking-your-lips scenes, we-can’t-hug-my-family-is-looking scenes, I-will-have-sex-with-this-lady-cause-I-can-make-myself-straight scenes, and bull-riding-followed-by-casual-sex scenes. The actresses were even cast to fit the original. 

They pretty much chopped the whole movie and weaved it into Destiel over all of the seasons 4-12, but subtly enough that we wouldn’t notice.

I need a drink now. Here’s to hope that they will fill in the rest in the glorious season 13. 

PS. Should we send this one to Jensen? Because he just recreated a whole gay movie, and apparently still pleads ignorance. They either played him, or we should not listen to Jensen from now on, EVER.
