There was an unextinguishable wrath that dwelled inside that of Iridessa Caldwell, and it was one that she could not control - not when it was drawn out directly. 'Isn't that why daddy gave up on you? No one really cares about you. What a shame you want to get out for nothing.' The words, they kept echoing over and over again, and Dessa couldn't take it. Gods, where was Antonio? Where? Dessa did not remember falling on her hands and knees until she finally rasped, "I can't fucking. Breathe. "
Julienne conversed softly with Leo, who had just arrived from a long mission. There weren’t munch people inside this part of the barracks, but there were enough to gain collective looks from faces she did not recognized.
Not until one of the unfamiliar faces seemed to have fallen on their knees. Juli just knew she had to help, shrugging off Leo’s hand as he protested to mind her own business. She simply couldn’t.
After waving off a handful of people to leave (which they were smart enough to listen), she quickly made her way to the girl. She saw her around, once or twice, and felt a little bit terrible for not remembering her name.
Though she was unsure of what to do, she placed her hand on her back and ran soothing circles, while she heard Leo drew a large breath. “Just.. calm down. It’s okay. You’re-.. safe.” She said, hesitating the last word.
Biting her lip, she didn’t know what else to do - until something clicked in her mind.
“My father, he.. he used to have attacks like this. He never tells me about it, but he said my voice always calmed him down.”
Her lips opened and moved so easily in her mother-tongue, and though her voice wasn’t anything theatrical, she sang softly like how one would with a sleepy child, and prayed to any god who was listening.
“Просто закрой свои глаза,солнце садится,Ты будешь в порядке,Ничто тебе не повредит,Придёт утренний свет,И мы будем в безопасности.”
