I think it's clear that you're still young. Young enough for your logic to be this skewed. Probably a teenager? If I was your momma and I found your blog, writing all this nonsense about that ANIMAL, vile, disgusting, waste of skin, I'd cut your net access and be either taking you to the psychiatric ward at the nearest hospital or at the very least, get you some counseling. I have been to counseling, obviously not regarding this but other issues, and I believe my mental state is just fine. However most of the anonymous comments on my page seem to be coming from mentally unstable individuals.

I am very confident with my opinion about the Ian case, and I really don't care about what they say to me, surprisingly. I usually get hurt pretty easily and break down if I get big amounts of criticism. But I am holding on to what I believe and I feel great! Still really anxious tho about how Ian is going to survive 35 years in prison among the other inmates that will be after him. makes me sick to my stomach.

Don't let the anonymous comments get you down, I know that easier said than done, I used to be that way but then I realized, who cares what ppl like that think, they don't know me irl so they have no place to judge. I know, I don't like to think about the whole situation personally because its so upsetting to me... considering his crime I would assume they would segregate him from the general population, but that in itself can be quite inhumane... I really wish non of this ever happened... its quite depressing

If you endorse rape on anyone, even someone you hate than you are not against rape. Those who are really against rape want it to be nonexistent, they don't use it as a tool for punishment or revenge. You don't have to agree with anything else I say on here, but you should really rethink your stance on rape.

Yes I understand why people are upset but 90% of them are hypocrites. I don't believe in death penalty because who are we as people to decide who gets to live and die. It deeply saddens me to see how easy it is for people to wish death upon others, people they don't even know outside of the "media"... I read through a few of your posts and i'm sorry you have been getting all that hate because yours are much more eloquent than mine, don't let them get you down, I would rather be true to my feelings than be fake for the sake of others who mean nothing in the long run.

About your lostprophets posts.. i really admire you because you have an amazing gift of forgiveness. What ian did was sickening, disgusting and wrong, but we are taught to forgive, God forgives us all and we should forgive to Gods love for him still hadnt changed. Thats not saying that God likes what happened, but bothing can break his love for us And you, friend are an example to all if us!! Youre right we should never wish death on anyone, and hold your head high for being a bigger person :)

Thank you, its nice to get a responses like this, everyone is so quick to rush to judgments and condemn anyone who has even a slightly different opinion. The world is not black and white, what people need to realize is that I do understand Ian did an awful thing but I will not wish death or rape on him. How can anyone claim to be against rape but than wish it upon someone else? I have had anonymous comments wishing rape upon me for "defending Ian" that's just going to too far. So thank you for the kind words, and don't let anyone get you down, especially not on this site because non of them know you or your life. People need to be less judgmental, we are all flawed beings.

What do you think about the punishment for Ian?

The whole situation is very upsetting for me, a hero of mine going to jail for a very long time. However he did plead guilty to a very serious crime, so this was the only realistic result. This is what needed to happen, I hope this experience will be beneficial for him and get him some help. What people need to understand is I don't hate Ian, but I understand what he did was wrong, I'm just not ready to give up on someone that easily. We live in a culture that likes to throw people away like trash if they live outside the accepted "norm". As a young girl who suffered from deep depression I know what it is like to be given up on. So again, the punishment is fair, it upsets me but I understand its necessary.
