Deck list for my modern mill deck. It’s by far my favourite deck I’ve ever played and I’m pretty happy with this list. I do need to try switching out ghost quarters for field of ruins though.
All ready for another standard PPTQ today. Can’t wait for modern pptq time again though!
An artist proof I had done for me by Chris Rallis at Birmingham GP a couple of months ago!
The latest signed foil to be added to my modern mill deck!
My pride and joy! It took me over 2 years to finish this playmat but it was worth it! My local game store is Ivory Goat Games in Ipswich, England and on our first GP trip to Manchester 2016 I had Ryan Yee draw me a goat on it. From there it spiralled, slowly adding a couple more goats here and there with the last one being added at GP London 2018. The artists on the playmat from left to right are Jonas De Ro, RK Post, Howard Lyon, Ryan Yee, Magalia Villenueve, Aaron Miller, Tomasz Jedruzcek, Igor Kieryluk and Mark Tedin.
One of my current MTG Quests is to have my Modern Mill deck all foiled and all signed by the artist. This is my progress so far and i’m waiting on another 20 or so cards to come back from the artists, so i’ll post another picture once I get those! My favourite signature is Matt Stewarts as I love how it flows, but my favourite overall has to be the Unhinged Islands signed by John Avon and it was a dream come true to meet him at GP Birmingham 2018.Â
Here’s a custom made token by Jeff Laubenstein I had made for my Modern Mill Deck at GP London 2018. He’s done some amazing artwork including the art for the cards Show and Tell, and Miscalculation so go check him out! One of my favourite parts of every GP is being able to go and chat the artists and find out more about them and their work. Â
