i cant picture stuff too clearly in my mind so when i have a hard time drawing something i make an ugly painting to help me see it 

alot of times i can get away with just flat shapes but stuff w alot of depth like armor its easier to scribble till its right 

uh but dont take this as an example of a good painting, its just how i have to work around my terrible depth perception
