I'm gonna draw actual ghost mettaton at some point for sure. But I low-key prefer drawing how he wouldve seen himself in that state much more. I was talking to my sibling about this but drawing him fully ghost feels like I'm leaking someone's pre transition photos like I feel disrespectful. Mind you, fictional character. I don't have to worry about this.

(one of) the reason(s) mettaton means so much to me is that he’s so inspiring, he’s a trans man who can present in a feminine manner and he’s accepted for that. he has people who’ve supported him before and after his transition, he’s loved even when he’s not fully done transitioning—he also loves himself!! he’s so important to himself and he VALUES himself!! he’s so so happy!!! it’s comforting to see a character like that, ESPECIALLY a trans character! it gives me some hope even though i know he’s fictional. i loveee him he means so much to me
