happy birthday beloved
Borage: courage
Purple hyacinths: sorrow, begging for forgiveness
obligatory re-upload of these two for the big day :]
Here's my girls from the trainer collab without all the embellishments!
the lights of my life. So so happy I was able to churn these out in what was record time (for me 🥹)
My contributions to #TrainerCollab2026 ❤️🥞 | 🌦️🐠 | 🌟☕️
I got submit my OCs Fifi, Jimena, and Raine to a Pokemon Trainer OC-themed collab ran by EliEliArt (on here, insta, and twitter!)
these are my OCs but they are also pieces of my heart. I'm very glad to have been given the opportunity to share these three and their adventures with all of you. Thank you once again to Eli for the opportunity!
happy #PokemonDay! here's a teeny tiny arrangement of art I did the past couple years of some of my most favorite characters!!!
really cute Ness and Paula from way back in the day (2019!!!)
getting in the valentine's day mood up here 😊
this also got me featured on starmen dot net that year!!! as someone who dreamed about being featured on there since I was a teenager, this was a wonderful thing to have woken up to. This was also the first thing I drew on CSP iiirc..
old Kii art that I drew for her birthday several years back :]
(2019 & 2017 respectively)
hoo ha hey! it's my art vs artist for 2025
I have drawn more than I ever have in the past two and a half years combined. don't ever develop chronic pain in your hands guys. a lot of it was mostly fandom OC related and I don't really post that stuff to main, sorry lmao. aiming to do more original universe stuff and branch out to doing fanart again hopefully.. but breaks are vital to me now. it still feels great to have been able to draw more, especially thanks to my very first artfight; it was a boon to me in many ways.
two old pieces I did, focusing on Akari from Aikatsu!
the first I did in 2019, the second in 2016.
2025 was my very first year participating in artfight :]
I was scared I wouldn't be able to contribute much, given my hand condition, but friends reassured me that I could take it easy, so I went above and beyond my projected goal and managed 10 attacks! artfight instilled a confidence in me that I haven't seen since I had to stop drawing frequently a few years ago. I had SO much fun and I want to see if I can try it again next time. I'm also happy the team I chose won too, not too shabby for my first year.

pokemon scarlet violet's 3rd anniversary, let's re-post all the old doodles I've done so far
I'm trying to get back into the habit of drawing regularly for the first time in years after dealing with chronic hand pain, which means doing quick warm ups. yeah they're crusty, but that's ok, we all start somewhere even if we're starting over again. go, my deltarunes.
What's the point in even trying to continue making art when the industry is a shithole, indie is unsustainable, and every time I sit down to draw I just get frustrated and angry because everything about it is so hard and overwhelming? Being creative is the only thing in life that has ever brought me anything even remotely resembling happiness and I can't even enjoy it anymore because of how much misery it brings me.
I don't really feel qualified to answer this, as it sounds like therapy or counseling might help you better, but in my opinion the point of art is to pour your heart, mind and soul into it. The point is for the creation of it to bring you joy or at least satisfaction. Above all else, your art has to be made for you first.
If you're not feeling that right now and your art is a hobby, it's okay to put it down for a while and return to it later. Maybe find other ways to be creative, like building in Minecraft or trying something new like crochet (I did this when I burned out a few years ago). You can get the satisfaction of creation from things other than drawing.
If art is your career, it's also okay to find a different career for a while and keep art as a hobby. It doesn't make you less of an artist and you can always return to it as a career again later when things aren't so rough.
There's no doubt things are incredibly hard for creatives right now and we all have to cope as best we can. That will look like different things for different people. Find what works for you and take care of yourself.
