I had such high expectations for the PJO series but it feels so... flat? No humor, no sassy, no whimsy, they got rid of all the little things that made the characters three-dimensional (Percy being lower class, Annabeth's architecture, Grover being a vegetarian, so many things...)

Mhm alright, credit where credit's due: I just finished season two and I found it much better. Maybe I've lowered my expectations a bit, maybe I don't remember SoM as well as LT and of course it still has many flaws, BUT in general I enjoyed it? I'm cautiously optimistic about season 3 and hope that they will go ahead with the last two books/seasons

as in you'll never achieve the perfect daily routine, sleep schedule, coping mechanisms, mannerisms, fashion sense etc. even after years and years of healing and improvement and self-discovery. you will never be so good at life that you manage to utilize every waking moment. its great to be productive and all but sometimes you'll suck ass. sometimes you'll take eight hours to be done with a twenty minute job. you'll prioritize the wrong thing. you'll sleep for 12 hrs just to avoid being awake. you'll relapse. and you'll relapse again. you'll forget to turn in the assignment. you'll order too little food. life is far too large and complex for you to even experience it completely, much less try to make sense of and control it. you can't. please give up on that and be at peace with the hours you lose. they are not separate from your life.

Trying to find a new job is so fun you just got to edit your CV to match the position, draft a new cover letter explaining why you are so eager to work for this company but you can't be too eager and of course you can't mention the actual reason (which is money) then you have to upload all of this to a specific portal which you signed up on last year but you need to change your password and we'll send you an e-mail but first fill the captcha thing to prove you're not a robot and the e-mail did't arrive? We'll send you another one but first fill in the captcha again and the e-mail still won't arrive. And then you notice the posted salary and you start wondering why you're still doing this

And when I'll finally be able to log in I'll probably to enter my CV manually anyway

Re-reading The Chronicles of Narnia as an adult is so interesting, but one of the funniest things is the characterization of of Eustace. Because in the first part of TVoTDT he's a little shit, yes, but then he says things like "I believe in the republic" and that his parents sent him to a school where children didn't get hit and it's treated as the most absurd thing in the world.

I tried to pick back up my Robe a la Fraincaise only to find out that three of the six bonings in the pocket hoops had snapped 😭

It's my fault for not using the proper materials, and they can be fixed (I think) but damn

This project is old enough to start going to primary school in september

Also, does enybody know how to fix the pleats to the lining? Asking for a friend...
