Okay, but what mechanics are the immortal's memories working by? Like Aang is a reincarnation but doesn't have access to the memories of his past lives directly. There's Thor (and other asgard) from stargate who just gets printed a new clone body and its like he never left. And then there's that one discworld character who's name I forget but his memories come back over time so he only remembers the really good stuff around the time he's got to start over. There's Jupiter from Jupiter ascending, who isn't a reincarnation in the traditional sense, she just happens to have the exact DNA sequence of the character who owned the earth and is treated like a reincarnation by that logic.

Are we talking a girl who'll see her robot girlfriend and go "there you are! SMOOCH!" or are we talking a girl who'll see her robot girlfriend and get a vague sense of de ja vu, or we talking a girl who'll just have a predictable reaction and always fall in love with the same robot.

Oh, and for that matter does she get a new face between reincarnations like Aang or can her robot find her by her familiar face?

The reincarnated immortal remembers everything upon seeing the robot, and has vague impressions even before that. The robot spends her time between reincarnations repairing herself and then searching. She finds her, every time.

Megastar is more fun when Megatron is younger than Starscream. Besides the visual, Starscream has funnier reactions when Megatron brings up his age

Yeah! Starscream being REALLY old is great because he still acts like… that. And he would be vain enough to regularly replace his face to look younger. It would also give him another reason to be so disrespectful to Megatron (other than his massive ego). I think they should continue the trend of Starscream always being around doing stuff and then give an exact date of Megatrons birth but for a future continuity they just continue to reveal things he did before the war and have it be hilariously way before Megatrons creation.

But no matter how old Starscream is, he’s always going to be the bigger brat so no one thinks that Megatron is actually the younger one!

Starscream is probably the funniest Transformers character to keep turning out to be effectively immortal. Megatron at least has a cult kind of thing going on and his body being reused as a powerful weapon of war by other villains also tracks. And divine intervention via the Matrix and also the narrative (toy sales) deeming him the Main Character won't fucking let Optimus Prime die and stay dead. Starscream apparently just exists to be a pathetic thorn in everyone's side.

Freak of nature. Cockroach motherfucker supreme. The universe's favorite unwitting clown who will never learn. Loathed by both Autobots and Decepticons for being So Fucking Annoying and neither side can kill him permanently. Tragic.
