Everyone shut up and look at this carving of a whale from the 1200-600 CE Chumash culture
ohhhhhh my godddddd
TToTT I love them!!
still mourning the lack of Armand's kitten fangs this season
also still on my learning project where I challenge myself to only use three medium to large textured brushes and not go below a certain brush size to get better at seeing the shapes instead of relying on details and clean lines so much. and I also have a time limit. it’s very fun I’m learning a lot about light and shadows I recommend it if you’re like me and are a perfectionist who spends three years on every detail
to be a fly on the wall for a conversation between these two
We've got, like, a shit ton list of questions, man!
bingewatching will never come close to bingereading. there is nothing like blocking out the entire Earth for ten hours to read a book in one sitting no food no water no shower no bra and emerging at the end with no idea what time it is or where you are, a dried-up prune that's sensitive to light and loud noises because you've been in your room in the dark reading by the glow of a single LED. it's like coming back after a three-month vacation in another dimension and now you have to go downstairs and make dinner. absolutely transcendental
There is a quality of books (or movies or shows) that I can best describe as “stickiness,” which is separate from being good or even enjoyable: a sticky book is one I just keep thinking about. Sometimes it’s because a book is very good (e.g. The Locked Tomb), and sometimes it’s because a book is very bad (e.g. ACOTAR), but there are also very good and very bad books that are slippery, such that when I’m done reading them they slip from my thoughts like water from a hydrophobic surface.
THE ANSWER
who wants to see my favorite statue
yes you do. it's a bulgarian statue called "the dragons in love" and it's a statue of 2 dragons and they're in love
love wins
We, as a society, need to start simping on Dr Fareed Bhansali harder
Claudia's ghost seeing Armand deliver the iconic "My daughter was my sister was my throw pillow when he wouldn't look at me kindly lestat lestat lestat lestat... And you threw her name around just for cover but it always circled back to him" like "bitch I loathe you and I hope you die but that was a certified banger."
Haunted house horror movie where the humans are house flippers and the audience is rooting for the ghost to kill them before they tear down all crown molding and paint all the wood.
Poor boy, Arun. You need a love that'll cradle you.
it is a truth universally acknowledged that supernatural is bad and hates women we all know this BUT the decision to bring back mary winchester the ultimate fridged Wife/Mother™ and give her a personality that has nothing to do with the Wife/Mother™-ideal was soooo good
she's a hunter she's raised from the dead she's a dyke (to the enlightened) she cut her hair on a whim she's a deadbeat mom to two adult men mary winchester i love youuuuu
it should be illegal for things in drawers to accumulate dust. you were IN the drawer WHAT is your problem
"Mirkwood would judge Legolas so hard for Gimli-" Wrong. Gimly has consistently charmed the pants off every single elf he's come across. The elves of Lothlorien went from wanting to kick him out to loving him in like 2 days. He's Galadriel's special little guy. My man is out there singlehandedly tearing down centuries of prejudice because he's just so damn charming. When he was nearing the end, he didn't even go to Durin's halls - he just went with Legolas to the undying lands so he could hang out with elves for the rest of time. Gimli would have Thranduil and the rest of the elves of Mirkwood wrapped around his dwarven finger in a week's time. Ideal son in law except for the beard.
is this not what happened?
