Dog drool now removed, Yuu turned back to the other, looking from the pup to the manager’s face, then repeating. Incredible. They were basically one and the same. Except Atsushi’s fur would have been darker, more...poofy. But that was besides the point.
Yuu sat down on the bed, listening to the mattress creak slightly under his weight as he glared at the dog, easily returning the challenge. There was no way he would leave because of a yapping fur ball-- he would rather die from one of Shouta’s hugs.
“Momotaro? Well, he does look like a peach. Maybe we should split him open and eat him.”
Oh, the things he said with the most monotonous of voices, dripping with venomous sarcasm. But putting the dog aside, Yuu returned his focus to the manager.
“I’m surprised your parents approve of having him here. My dad hates animals, since he’s allergic, so I guess I always assumed the same for other families.”
