do you know how to rip blu-ray disc on mac? thank you! <3

Oh man, can’t say I’ve actually done this or know how to off-hand... I don’t have a blu-ray drive (yet) not to mention my Mac’s all packed up right now so I don’t have any experience with this nor can I experiment to tell you the best way to do this...

Videohelp.com has some Mac OS friendly BD decrypters that might help. That’s where I’d personally start. I’ve also heard MakeMKV a lot online when it came to Macs and BD ripping, but I don’t know if it’s freeware, trialware, or what. I could’ve sworn I heard HandBrake could do blu-rays, but I don’t know if there are limitations. When it came to DVD decrypters I tried a bunch of different freeware until I found a bunch I was happy with.

As for tutorials the only thing I can say is searches since I’ve no idea how to do this. If you have trouble the people in the videohelp.com forums are super knowledgeable. They’ve helped me plenty of times when I’ve gotten stuck.

Out of all the media related things ripping a blu-ray is one of the ones I want to do the most. ==;;

Meaning in the OP ~ History Makers

So, as it turns out, there is officially meaning in the OP theme of Yuri!!! on Ice! As we learned from Kubo Mitsurou-sensei, the creator of the series:

Dean Fujioka apparently wrote the lyrics to the opening theme considering them to be delivered from the point of view of the character on screen, specifically Yuuri–>Victor–>all people working hard at some challenge. Apparently he thought up ten times the lyrics we wound up with before whittling the lines down to what we have… Thank you for such a wonderful product…! (source)

The only confirmed characters to have any relevance to the lyrics are Victor and Yuuri, as you can see; since all of the pair and trio skating is set to the chorus line, we can’t really read too much into that anyway, so this makes sense.

For a breakdown of the lyrics that are sung over each character’s solo screen time…

Yuuri: “Can you hear my heartbeat? Tired of feeling never enough. I close my eyes and tell myself that my dreams will come true.”

Victor:  […true.] “There’ll be no more darkness when you believe in yourself; you are unstoppable where your destiny lies. Dancing on the blades, you set my heart on fire.”

(note that Victor jumps in on the final line of Yuuri’s–so they share a lyric for a moment.)

The remainder of the song is, as written above, meant to be from the POV of anyone who’s facing a challenge and trying their hardest to surmount it.

And in my humble opinion, those fit the characters perfectly from what we’ve seen thus far. It’s great to know that the lyricist put that much thought into it–it’s not something we’re just reading into it, but actually meaningfully synced.

Actually, I don’t. Right now my computer with all my photo and graphics editing software is packed up. All I have right now is this little Windows laptop and I don’t think it can handle it right now. ^^ If one of my followers can help that’d be amazing otherwise I’ll try to get some graphics software up and running soon-ish then post it. ^^
