So I just finished watching Merlin (S4 E3; the Wicked day) last night, and while I was changing, and mourning for Lancelot, I thought of something.

In S2 E12; fire of Idirsholas, Merlin poisoned Morgana and Morgause came to the throne room to save her life, right? So at that moment, Merlin could’ve ended everything by killing Morgause and Morgana could’ve been left to die. So many lives would’ve been saved if he killed Morgause that time.

I feel like every episode of Merlin should’ve started like this:

Dragon: In a land of Myth

And time of magic

The destiny of a great kingdom

Rests on the shoulder

Of a young boy

His name....

Then Arthur shouts: MERLIN!

And there’s a picture of Merlin’s body shooting up from his bed, or Merlin coming to Arthur’s room, or the first scene of the episode. Like, a distant shouting of Merlin’s name on the first scene. Or like in the links below (the videos are not mine. They’re two different videos)
