Pokemon Colosseum (literally)

Can you imagine this all though. This person, assuming they don’t live in Rome, was going on a trip to Italy. Before their trip they thought to themselves somewhere along the way that they needed to bring these Pokemon figures with them. Perhaps they had planned this entire picture out in their minds already, maybe it was more of a “Just in case” kind of scenario. Either way, they somehow made the decision to put these into their luggage. 

Fast forward to Rome. There they stand, in front of the colosseum. Suddenly this play on words erupts in their mind. “Figures… Colosseum… Pokemon… Game called Pokemon Colosseum… perfect chance… must do this….” Before they know it they’ve paid the 12 euro entrance fee for the Colosseum after standing in what was perhaps a massive line depending on what time of year they went.

And then finally, after conquering the many stairs they find a spot that suits them. They put down their Canon next to them and revealed these two Pokemon figures. They start to position them in order to have the perfect composition for the picture. Once pleased with the arrangement they pick up the Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XS, a semi professional camera. Or at least a camera that’s way beyond a regular digital camera or a quick snap shot with a phone. I don’t know much about cameras but I know that once it looks like this it aint no quick snapshot piece of shit.

Oh no, nothing about this picture was left to chance or quick. No, this picture was taken with much considration. There our OP sat, in the middle of one of the biggest tourist attractions of Rome, probably on his knees, down on the stone hard flooring trying to take the perfect picture of these figures. In the middle of all these tourists, what might have been a very hot period as well. Perhaps they were drenched down in sweat due to the hot Italian weather. But no matter, they had to ensure that the focus would be perfect. That all focus would be on picture with the background faded as well as the Bulbasaur in the foreground, without having to later edit it in Photoshop.

First off, thank you zwampert for the reblog/boost. Really appreciate it. You pretty much nailed it. I live in the States and just finished a trip to Europe. I decided to keep a few figures in my camera bag (Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Treecko, and Tepig) just in case I could snap a couple of good shots.
