My Love Will Never Die: Chapter 1
SUMMARY: Circe is reunited with her cousin, though it doesn't seem to go the way that she thought it would.
PAIRINGS: Azriel x Circe Archeron x Eris Vanserra
CONTENT WARNING: SFW, abandonment issues, toxic family.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Here is chapter 1, I can't wait to dive deeper into this book and share the plans I have for this story. I hope you enjoy this chapter and if you wished to be tagged let me know in the comments.

Circe Archeron, Prologue
It had been months since Feyre had left. She came back for a short time only to disappear again. I kept to myself, Nesta had made it perfectly clear that she didnât much care for me. I guess I was okay with that. But it had been a difficult time for me after Feyre left. Everything had changed, I had become quick to anger and thatâs why I stayed in my room most of the time.
Nesta and Elain couldnât even get me out of my room, unless Nesta dragged me out; which wasnât often. Theyâd have servants bring food to my room, but for the most part I was nibbling on the food. Not enough to keep me looking healthy. Currently I lied in my bed, the curtains were closed and I was hugging the pillow. It was difficult sometimes to lay on my back, though I still didnât understand why.
Someone knocked on my door, I wanted to ignore it but I couldnât. If it were Nesta sheâd get angry with me and storm in here and pull me from my bed. So I stood up, then I walked over to the door and looked to see Mrs. Laurent standing at the door. There was a pleasant smile on her face as she stared at me.
âHow can I help you Mrs. Laurent?â I asked, leaning my head against the door.
âYour sister has requested that you get dressed and go to the drawing room.â Mrs. Laurent answered.
I didnât want to fight whatever Nesta wanted me to do so I gave her a nod of my head and closed the door. I walked over to my closet and grabbed an outfit. I only wore pants and shirts whenever Iâd go outside. If I was being requested to the drawing room it likely meant that someone was here which meant I had to dress nice.
I opted for a dark blue dress that had an amber coloring etched into it. I donât know why but this was always my favorite dress to wear whenever people would come over. I had these colors on a lot of my outfits but they were always so different. The dress reached just below my knees and came with long frayed sleeves.
I wasnât much for heels so I was allowed a pair of boats that actually matched with the dress I currently had on. Once I was dressed, I pulled my hair to the side and began to braid it until I reached the end of my dirty-blond hair. Now that I was finished I walked out of my room heading to the drawing room as requested. However when I came to a stop at the entrance I swear everything stopped.
She looked so different from what I remembered. Taller than I remember her to be, and she had pointed ears. She was a Fae now. Is that why she hadnât come back to visit us, to visit me? I stepped forward and caught my cousin's attention.
âFeyre?â I asked, my voice shaky as well as my hands.
âCirce?â Her voice was just as shaky, she stared at me taking in the sight of what I truly look like, which wasnât great. I didnât care at the moment, I walked over to her and pulled her into a tight hug. I didnât want to let her go now that she was here. Nesta pulled me back from Feyre, though my cousins didnât miss the way I pulled my arm away from Nestaâs touch. I was sure Feyre would ask me about it when it was just the two of us.
So much had changed since she left again, I needed to know what had happened to her. Why was she even here? Was she coming back home to stay with us? Had that Fae finally decided to let her come back home to us? So many questions I wanted to ask her, but instead I sat down next to Elain. Waiting for someone to talk, hopefully it would be Feyre and sheâd answer everything.
âWhere is Father?â It was the first thing she said since weâd all sat down. I wasnât the least bit surprised she wanted to know of his absences.
âIn Neva,â Nesta answered. Heâd been gone for a while now and I honestly wasnât sure when heâd returned. Not that I really cared anyway. âTrading with some merchants from the other half of the world. And attending a summit about the threat above the wall. A threat I wonder if youâve come back to warn us about.â
At this I glanced over at Nesta, why hadnât she told me about this? I had just as much a right to know as Elain did. I couldnât shake the hurt I was feeling as I stared at my eldest cousin. I wanted to leave this room now. If Nesta thought I didnât need to know than maybe it was best I leave to let them talk. That feeling Iâd been trying to avoid for so long came back and I felt myself fighting to hold back whatever tears wanted to fall down my face.
I hated being treated like the black sheep of the family now that Feyre wasnât here. Though I suppose it had always been that way considering my parents didnât love me enough to raise me themselves. Instead they sent me to live with my aunt and uncle and look where it got me. Alone.
âWhatever the reason, Feyre, we are happy to see you. Alive. We thought you wereââ A glimmer of panic ran through my body. Feyre pulled back her hood. I wasnât so much afraid of the fact that she was now Fae. It was the fact that it meant sheâd actually died.
âI was dead.â Feyre said roughly. âI was dead, and then I was rebornâremade.â
âHow did it happen?â I asked, I needed to know. Was she alone, or were there others with her.
âThatâs a story for another day, Circe. I need you to listen.â I listened to her as she explained what was happening. The panic I felt in my body was speeding through it. Suddenly I felt the need to go outside and climb into a tree. I couldnât do this anymore.
âExcuse me.â I whispered, standing up I shifted my shoulders and walked out of the room.
âCirce.â Feyre called out.
âLet her go, this is too much for her and the exact reason I didnât want her in here in the first place. Sheâs fragile right now.â Nesta said sternly.
Fragile. Of course I was fragile. I had lost the one person who meant more to me than the others. Feyre was the only one who truly understood where I was coming from when I tried to express myself. Nesta didnât understand my need to be out in the wilderness when I wasnât in my room. It was my safe place, my escape. It allowed me to feel close to things I didnât understand.
When I made it outside I walked past the front door and towards the woods. Finding my favorite tree I began to climb it. I climbed and climbed until I was finally a far enough distance from the ground I could have peace and quiet. I could finally think. But it didnât last long. Not when I heard the rustling of tree leaves.
âWhat do you want?â I asked, thinking it was Feyre. But when I looked up I came face to face with hazel eyes, and shadows. I knew all too well why they looked so familiar. I stood up and walked towards the Fae that was staring at me, not speaking. âIâm Circe.â I said, holding my hand out to him.
He was just staring at me, I didnât seem to find it weird. It felt comforting to have his gaze on me. I didnât know where to take the conversation though. And it was clear that he wasnât comfortable shaking my hand so I dropped it back at my side. I felt something touch my back, and suddenly panic rose in my body again. It was cool to the touch as it moved around my body. And I realized that it was shadows.
A smile fell onto my lips, then there were more surrounding me. Some tickled my skin. I couldnât stop the laugh that left my lips as they continued to glide around my skin. I did notice that the Fae in front of me was stiff as a board. I also noticed that the shadows stayed away from my back. I held my hand out again and one of the shadows swarmed around my fingers.
âYouâre not afraid of them?â His voice was so soft and rough at the same time as he finally spoke to me. I placed my eyes on him, a curious look falling onto my face.
âWhy would I be? Theyâre so beautiful.â It was clear that each word that left my lips was more of a shock to him than it was to me. Another shadow wrapped around my arm, tickling me in the process. It caused another laugh from me. But then I couldnât stop laughing. Happiness. It was the only thing I felt in my entire being as this Fae stood in front of me with shadows swarming my body.
âNot everyone is like you.â He whispered. At this I lowered my hand and stared at him.
âYouâre right, theyâre not. But I assure you that they donât scare me.â
âThatâs a first.â Another voice called out. I pulled my eyes away to look down, seeing two other males not far from us. I took the opportunity to walk away from the Fae with shadows and climbed back down the tree.
âYou should be careful.â I looked up at him, a shadow still swarming around my body.
âIâll be fine.â I jumped down, landing on my feet. Then I held my hand out to the two as the other joined. âCirce. Feyreâs cousin.â I said, shining my brightest smile.
âCassian.â The one with shoulder length hair said, shaking my hand.
âRhysand.â The other said, I shook his hand. Then he looked over at the one Iâd been talking to. âThis is Azriel.â
âItâs nice to meet you.â I looked at Azriel, and then Cassian. They both had the same set of wings. They were beautiful, and suddenly I wanted to know everything about their wings. I shifted my shoulders slightly at the weight on my back, the invisible weight. Then I moved towards them inspecting their wings.
âThese are Illyrian wings.â Rhysand said. His violet eyes were on me, like he was studying me. Though Cassian and Azriel were doing the same thing as well. That sounded familiar, so familiar. I remember my mother and father had talked about the fae alot, Ilyrianâs in particular.
âIâve heard of them.â I said, staring back at Rhysand. I could see the confusion on all their faces as the three stared at me. âMy parents used to talk about the fae before they abandoned me. More specifically they talked about Illyrians, I never understood why theyâd talked about them so much, we were humans after all.â
âWhat were your parents' names?â
âLily and Beau Archeron.â I hadnât shared their names in so long that it hurt to say them outloud for the first time. I watched the three exchange glances with each other. âDo you know those names?â
âJust from what Feyre has told us.â
âOh.â I nodded my head. Then I shifted my shoulders and started to walk back towards the house. They were following behind me. The door opened and I looked to see Feyre standing at the front door.
âI see youâve meant my cousin.â She wasnât speaking to me. It also seemed that she had an annoyed look on her face. So I lowered my head, trying to ignore the heartbreak I was feeling on the inside.
âIâll see you inside Feyre.â I excused myself, lifting my arms up to cover my body. Then I moved past her and walked into the house heading for my room until dinner was ready. Not that theyâd want me there anyway. Once I was in my room I closed the door and slid down it. I adjusted my shoulders again, then rested my head back against the door. This was going to be a long night, I knew it.
How Did It End? | Lucien Vanserra
SUMMARY: He chose Elain over you, but your mates are there to help rebuild what he broke when the relationship ended.
PAIRINGS: Poly!Feysand x Reader, Lucien Vanserra x Reader (Past), Lucien Vanserra x Elain Archeron
CONTENT WARNING: SFW, heartbreak, poly!feysand, angst, fluff, happy ending
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Inspired by How Did It End? by Taylor Swift. This song is one of my favorites of TTPD: The Anthology. When I was listening to this on repeat, it just got me thinking about characters from ACOTAR, and I just thought this best fit Lucien. I hope you enjoy this!
WORD COUNT: 2.0K
Lucien Vanserra was many things, that much you knew. Before Elain had come into your lives youâd spent such a long time with him. He made you believe things that you didnât think youâd ever had. When he finally found his mate, the last thing you expected was to hear him say he chose her. You shouldâve known this day would come.
He kept you in the Spring Court even when it was falling down. And when the war was over he kept you hidden from your friend. He kept you hidden away from Feyre. You rotted away in the Human land while your lover worked tirelessly to win his mate over. You guessed that he had done so. He stood in front of you, years after winning the war.
He looked so different from the last memory you had off him. You couldnât remember the last time youâd kissed him, the last time he held you in his warm embrace. There were so many last memories that you just couldnât remember when they had happened. Elain was in the room, her sister and brother in law also with them.
âOh.â Was all you could muster up, the word breaking as it fell from your lips. That single word didnât so much as affect the male, or his mate. But you could see the pain Feyre and Rhysand held on their faces and it confused you. âWhen did you work it out?â You went on to ask. Lucien stepped forward, but you stepped back. You were in a home that Lucien had found for you and you knew that heâd most likely take it away from you.
âWe accepted the bond a few months ago.â Elainâs voice was soft, and you understood why Lucien had fallen madly in love with her and wanted to work it out. You shook your head not understanding why they would wait so long to tell you this important information.
âI see.â You turned around and grabbed your go bag.
Even before Lucien had shown up with the others in tow you had planned to leave. But now you have more incentive to do so.
âWhere are you going?â Lucien questioned, finally he spoke.
âIâm leaving.â You looked back at the male you thought would choose you over his mate, but you were wrong, so wrong. âI donât know when what we had ended or how it ended. But I do know when Iâm not wanted anymore. I shouldâve left when you said you wanted to pursue another female that is your mate. Iâm not her, I never will be. So Iâm making this easy for you Lucien.â You walked over to the door barely glancing at Rhysand or Feyre. âYou can keep the house.â
You stepped out of the house and walked over to the horse that was waiting on the side. Climbing on you took off just as the four ran out of the home trying to call your name. You ignored them all. You needed time to process the news you already knew was true. Years with him had been wasted, they were nothing. You were nothing to him but trash to toss aside.
Tears slipped down your face blurring your vision. But it didnât give you a reason for you to stop. You continued on until you were finally back in Prythian. Youâd ride until you could make it out of the Spring Court, hopefully you could avoid Tamlinâs guards. Though it was nice to see that he had finally been able to rebuild his Court. You didnât make it far into the Spring Court when said guards appeared surrounding you and stopping your horse in its tracks.
You released a defeated sigh, held your hands in the air and dropped your head. There was no fight left in you, not right now at least. The guards dragged you deeper into the Spring court until you were face to face with Tamlin himself, though he wasnât alone. A female stood by his side, you didnât know who she was.
âHigh Lord.â You whispered, bowing your head to him. You were afraid of what he might do considering what heâd done in the past.
âI heard what happened. Iâve alerted Feyre and Rhysand of your arrival in my Court.â Tamlinâs voice ran through your ears and that was the last thing youâd expected him to speak to you.
âW-What? Why?â You were confused, so utterly confused. The female stepped forward, a soft smile on her face.
âYour mates are worried about you. You left in such a hurry they didnât have a chance to get to you.â She answered. Now you were even more confused.
âMy love, I donât think Y/N knows that theyâre mates.â Tamlinâs green eyes were on the female you assumed was his mate or maybe his lover.
âRhysand and Feyre arenât my mates. Itâs not possible. I canât have more than one mate.â
You were still processing the new information when Rhys and Feyre winnowed into the room. They were here with you in the Spring court. Both High Lord and Lady kneeled in front of you. Each reaching out with one hand to caress your cheeks.
âIt is possible. Itâs rare, but a mated pair of three, or a triad is very possible.â The female said.
âMy mate, Luna, sheâs spent most of her life researching mates and how bonds truly work between the Fae. She was the first one to notice that Rhys and Feyre were missing another part of themselves.â Tamlin spoke, Luna, the female you now knew to her be, gave a nod of approval to her mateâs words.
âWhen?â You asked.
âWe truly didnât know until Luna talked to us.â Rhysand whispered, keeping his violet eyes gazing into your eyes. He was searching for something in them, maybe searching to see if youâd run away again.
âBut you have a family.â You just wanted to call it quits, you wanted whatever pain you were feeling to just be over.
âYes, we have a family but it never felt complete. And now we know why.â Feyre said.
âWhy?â Your lips trembled, afraid of the words that either might say. Too much had happened today, it was exhausting.
âBecause you werenât in it, you werenât a part of the little family we have. Lucien kept you hidden from us. He thought Elain would truly reject the bond and heâd come back to you. Weâd spent so long trying to figure out what was missing. And when he mentioned going back to you, we felt a tug but we didnât understand any of it.â
âWhy now?â
âBecause you deserve to be happy too. Lucien knew that youâd run, we asked Tamlin to keep an eye out for you. We had to talk to you, to tell you what truth we had learned.â
âI canât. I canât.â You cried out. You stood up and backed away from them. âItâs not possible, thisâŚâ You cut yourself of staring at Rhysand and Feyre. They were hiding the hurt, but you could feel their pain. That was new, so new and it was overwhelming. âI just want to lie down.â As you said the words you felt your legs give out beneath you. However Rhysand was clutching onto you before you hit the grass.
âLetâs go back to the Night Court. You need some rest and time to heal before we discuss this.â Feyre whispered to you. You nodded, your hand gripping onto Rhysandâs arm tightly. Almost afraid that heâd disappear. He picked you up from the ground, your head rested on his chest. Feyre nodded her head and he disappeared.
âThank you.â Feyre whispered to Tamlin and Luna. Tamlin gave a nod of his head while Luna stepped away from him and walked closer to Feyre.
âY/N, will need both of you. This is going to be a lot.â Luna said.
âI know. Rhys and I will do everything to make sure that Y/N is comfortable with this. Itâs going to take time, I know that much is true.â Luna smiled in understanding. Then Feyre said her goodbyes winnowing back to the night court.
âââââ âžâžâž âââââ
Months had passed and you were still in the same state youâd been in since Rhys and Feyre had brought you home. They were worried about you now more than ever, not sure how to fix what Lucien had broken. You knew the bond had snapped for you but you will still try to process everything. Trying to process the fact that not only did you have one mate but you had two mates. They were High Lord and Lady and they had a son together. You didnât understand how you could fit into their family when they had such a perfect family already.
Nyx had helped when theyâd bring him in to visit you. You already had a bond with the child and sometimes it was hard to put Nyx down to sleep because heâd cry for you to be the one to put him down for a nap. But you were still so scared that youâd mess it all up, that youâd be abandoned again. Just like your parents had abandoned you, and just like Lucien had abandoned you.
You were so lost in your thoughts, stuck in your mind that never seemed to go to sleep when you needed it to, to hear the door of your room open and close. Rhys and Feyre thought it was best for you to have your own room until you were ready to take the next step. The relationship between the three of you was on your terms. A sob left your lips feeling the bed dip down on both sides. Feyre lied down in front of you while you hugged your blanket tightly. Rhys pressed his body against your back.
âWeâre here for you Y/N.â Feyre whispered, a sad expression etching onto her face.
âI know.â You whispered, closing your eyes. Rhys and Feyre had been trying to get into your mind since youâd come home with them, but your shields were strong. You also werenât letting them get into your mind, not yet anyway.
âItâll be okay, love.â Rhys whispered into your ear.
âI just donât understand how it ended, I mean I understand it. But there were never any signs, I never saw it coming.â You whispered, letting your tightening grip on the blanket loose. Feyre finally closed the gap between you and her, Rhys lifted a wing and covered himself, you, and Feyre with it in protection.
âSometimes the relationships we thought were meant for just end without any signs. Sometimes there are better things out there for us.â Rhys said while Feyre nodded in agreement.
âWill it ever get better?â Rhys kept his gaze on both of his mates, though his eyes lingered on Feyre for a brief moment.
âEventually, it will. All you can do is take it one step at a time. Rhys and I will be here through that process. When you're ready to accept the bond weâll accept it. If youâre not ready then weâll wait until you are.â Feyre paused, her eyes found yours and she could see the shock that was on your face. âYou are worth every moment, worth every shared memory, worth waiting for.â Another sob escaped your lips.
âI donât want to be abandoned again.â The fear of what had truly happened to you finally left your mouth. Feyre and Rhys wrapped their arms around you and huddled closer.
âYou will never be abandoned, not by us. Not ever.â Rhysand said sternly.
âPromise?â You switched your gaze from Feyre to Rhys waiting for them to take back what theyâd both said.
âWe promise. Youâre our mate, and we are yours. Weâre in this together until the end of time. Until the Mother decides that our time is truly at an end.â
You gave a soft smile, though your lips were trembling and tears were slipping free. It was going to be a long journey but you knew youâd be able to come to terms with the past and move on for a better, happier future. And with Rhys and Feyre by your side it didnât seem so scary anymore.

Kate Denali Dating Headcanons
REQUESTED BY: As seen above
PAIRINGS: Kate Denali x Reader
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Thank you so much for putting this request in! I decided to do two sets of Headcanons one where the Reader is a vampire and one where the Reader is a Human. I'm not the best with headcanons but hopefully this is enjoyed. I am actually going to turn the Human!Reader x Kate Denali into a series. Because I do believe it has potential.

Kate Denali and Vampire!Reader Dating Headcanons
You and Kate meet at the Cullens. You were visited by Carlisle and Esme to be a witness. You had agreed because you had watched the Volturi kill your family and you didnât want to see it happen to them.
After you arrived at the Cullens home there were a lot of new faces and some familiar ones.
But there was one in particular that had caught your eye, Kate Denali.
Even though the both of you were from the same world you both were from different worlds.
You learned that Kate had a vegetarian lifestyle like the Cullenâs had, while you feed from humans who had only ever done bad things. You werenât going to take an innocent life if you could help it.
When Kate had used her power on Bella you were curious to see what it felt like. You had made the comment before you could stop yourself. And when your finger came in contact with her skin electricity rushed through your body sending you to your knees.
From that moment on you were infatuated with Kate and wouldnât leave her side.
Over the next few days when Kate wasnât teaching Bella to train her power the two of you were learning everything about each other.
You learned what the Volturi had done to her mother, after she had created a newborn child.
You discussed how the Volturi had taken your family away from you just after they had turned you.
By the time the sun rose and the snow had been sticking, you and Kate were a lot closer.
Waiting for the impending fight that could happen against the Volturi, youâd expressed to Kate that you wanted to go with her if you lived through it. You had found a reason to fight for something, you didnât want to lose Kate now that you had found her.
When the fight had been won, you asked Kate about the vegetarian lifestyle she had with her family. You figured that was a start to a new life.
After saying goodbye to the Cullens and thanking them for asking for your help, you left with Kate not so afraid of what the future might hold.
Kate Denali and Human!Reader Dating Headcanons
You had met Kate through Bella, she was your neighbor before she had left to live with Edward.
You met her at their wedding, instantly you were drawn to her. Though you were unsure as to why you felt so drawn to her.
You and Kate spent the entire wedding talking to each other, getting to know each other. When she asked you to a dance you agreed.
She was cold to the touch but you didnât mind, you were too lost in the dance to pay attention to how cold she felt.
By the end of the wedding Kate made promises to come back and see you when she could. You knew that wasnât a promise sheâd be able to keep. But she was too pretty to call her out on a lie.
When Kate left and Edward and Bella went on their honeymoon, tragedy struck. It was raining and you were on your way to the Cullens, you had wanted to know the truth about what you had put together.
At this point you had figured out that all the Culllens, Kate included, were vampires. It all made sense why their eyes looked different, why Kate felt cold when the two of you had danced together.
You were too lost in your thoughts to notice the tree that was falling down towards your car. It made an impact with your car, glass flew everywhere, some cutting into your skin. A tree branch had hit you in the stomach, and a piece of glass had been lodged into your chest. You hit your head on the steering wheel.
Everything after that was a blur, you remember a glimpse of Kate staring at you with worry on her face. You donât remember her telling you that sheâd be stopping by. Carlisle was the most present in front of you.
You could feel yourself trying to fight to stay alive but you were exhausted and just wanted to go to sleep. Thatâs exactly what you did, you went to sleep.
A few days later you woke up, everything felt different. You could see a lot better than you remembered. You didnât feel hunger for food, well not the food you were used to eating. When you finally opened your eyes to look at yourself you saw Kate in the room, she held onto your hand.
She explained everything, starting at the beginning. Kate told you why she was with the Cullenâs, what had happened to you. How she had begged Carlisle to save you, to turn you. How she didnât want to lose you. She explained that sheâd taken you back to her home in Alaska promising to teach you how to hunt for food.
The questioning look never left your face as she explained all of this. But you understood what she was explaining. Slowly but surely you started to accept the new life youâd have. And finally Kate kept up her promise.
The dates started small, but they were sweet and filled you with so much joy. When the two of you werenât with Kateâs family (now your family), the two of you were stuck in your own world. You were happy, and you knew nothing could take that away.

Prologue, Chp. 1
After our funtime Lucien and I returned to the dining room. Tamlin was discussing something with Lucien. He sat next to me and Lucien sat next to Tamlin. One of the servants had come to fetch us, informing us that Tamlin had requested our presence. Since Tamlin had arrived back home with Feyre by his side something felt different. I didnât understand what it was but I had a feeling that she might be the one to save us, all of Prythian.
I held my hands in my lap after Iâd finished my food. I did however look up when Feyre entered the dining room. Alis disappeared after helping her out, Feyre was wearing a dark blue tunic paired with a white shirt, and chestnut brown trousers. The colors did her well but they didnât seem like the right pair of colors for Feyre. I knew that because I myself didnât fit in Spring Court colors. I didnât fit in Day Court colors either.
âBefore you ask again: the food is safe to eat.â Tamlinâs voice ran through my ears, why would she think that the food wouldnât be safe for her to eat. I discarded the thought and waited for Feyre to sit down at the table when Tamlin motioned towards a chair near the end of the table. He sighed when she didnât move towards the seat. âWhat do you want, then?â The blond male went on to question.
âI told you so, Tamlin.â Lucien glanced towards Tamlin. âYour skills with females have definitely become rusty in recent decades.â
I stiffened slightly when Tamlin released a growl. No doubt Feyre didnât see the way I had reacted to him, and I knew that sheâd ask me about it later if we were alone. Sometimes I wondered why I stayed in the Spring Court. There were days where I didnât feel safe around Tamlin. But I had nowhere else to go, he had offered me a home when I needed it most. My parents had stopped searching for me as far as I could tell though that fear remained sharp in my mind.
I knew one day soon theyâd come for me. They punish me first, burn me, slap me, theyâd do something to make sure I suffered for abandoning them. Then when they were satisfied with the treatment theyâd handed me, theyâd hand me over to Amarantha. I knew theyâd have wicked smileâs on their lips when they handed me over to that vile woman. I am surprised they never handed me over when I was a small child.
Though I suppose they didnât need to then, my powers weren't at full strength and by the time they were Amarantha had started her reign of terror over Prythian. I only had access to half my powers currently, I was deathly afraid of what would happen if Feyre did save us. The thought was enough to send me back into a nightmare of my own making.
I stood in front of my parents, my mom was in front of my dad. I could hear their thoughts loud and clear. I could see the look of hate that rested in their faces. I wish so badly that Helion was here to help me. He had been friends with them long before I came into the picture. But it seemed that I had turned them into hateful Fae.
âYou have no right to talk to us like that, Evangeline.â My mother never used my nickname, my father didnât explore that either. It was clear they hated me and I hated them.
âUngrateful, child.â My fatherâs thoughts were pressing down on my mind and I couldnât handle it. My motherâs were just as worse.
âWhy do you have a right to call me ungrateful, or a bitch, or a waste of space? I donât need to hear how much you hate me, or how much I disappoint you. You're my parents, you're supposed to love me.â Tears had started to fall down my face. Even if I wanted to stop them I couldnât. Iâd always been able to hear what they thought about me, how they didnât actually love me. I truly disappointed them and it broke my heart everytime.
âYou should be grateful, weâve raised you. There is a roof over your head because of us, Evangeline.â This time it was my fatherâs voice that ran through my ears.
âHow can I be grateful when you treat me like trash, how can Iââ I was cut off with a slap to my face. I staggered back, hitting the counter behind me. My teary eyes landed on my mother as she looked at me through flamed eyes. Iâd never seen her this way. Well, Iâd seen what sheâd done when I stepped out of line so this wasnât the first bruise I had on my body. It certainly wouldnât be the last either.
âGo to the cellar now.â Her voice was stern, cold, and very calculated as she ordered me what to do. I didnât like to go in the cellar, it was small and cramped and as I got older I could barely fit in it. It was supposed to be used for storing food but instead that was where they put me when I would get in trouble. I shook my head, not so much defying her. I really didnât want to step foot in there.
âNo.â I squeaked, still shaking my head. I didnât have a chance to say anything more. Both my mother and father gripped my arms and dragged me out of the kitchen. I started to throw myself around screaming out.
âYou will stay there for a week.â My mother said, I still didnât want to go.
âPlease. I donât like it there. Itâs lonely, and cold, and scary.â I couldnât hold the words as they slipped past my lips.
âToo bad, a child like you needs to be shown how to act. If you can't treat us with respect then you deserve to be in the cellar.â Fatherâs voice could be scary at times and right now I didnât like the way he sounded.
âPlease.â I cried out again. But they ignored me, we made it outside and they threw me into the cellar locking the door back up so I couldn't get out. I turned on the ground and stared up at the door. There was no light shining through the wood, it was nighttime. The best time that theyâd normally shove me in here.
âEvie?â A voice called out to me. I couldnât see much, everything was gone. It was like I was still in that nightmare. How long had I been stuck in my head? âEvie?â That voice, I knew that voice. Finally everything started to come back to view as my waking nightmare disappeared from my mind. Lucien was kneeling in front of me.
I glanced around the room, Tamlin had a look of concern on his face just as Lucien did. It looked like Feyre had finally sat down to eat something. Good she needed to eat something, she looked far to skinny to not be eating anything. Lucien gently cupped my cheek, I was still in panic mode but I was calming down.
âIâm okay.â I whispered, a tear or two slipping down my face. His thumb wiped the tears away. My hand found its way to his wrist and I grasped it. I wondered then if Lucien were my mate. I hoped he was. I really enjoyed his company, and he was able to help me through whatever nightmare happened. But as much as I hoped for him to be my mate, there was something missing from what we had. âIâm going to head to bed early.â
I removed Lucienâs hand from my face and gave him a peck on his lips. Then I picked myself up, bowed to Tamlin. I donât think I needed to do that but I knew it gave him a bit of an ego boost and sometimes he needed it. Then I looked at Feyre. She was staring at me with an understanding in her eyes. I didnât know if I should be comforted by that fact or if I could be concerned that she might have a sense of understanding. So I walked up to her.
âIf you wish to walk the grounds, Iâm more than happy to join you.â I said, loud enough for Lucien and Tamlin to hear me. However before she could respond to me I left the dining room. I felt the door close behind me and when it did I pushed myself against the wall listening in on their conversation to see what they might say to Feyre, if theyâd say anything at all.
âIs she going to be okay?â Feyreâs voice was soft and filled with concern as she asked the question.
âEventually.â Tamlin said.
âEvieâs had a rough life, sheâs still healing from the things her parents did to her.â Lucien only knew certain things about my parents. So did Tamlin. I never outright expressed things about them. They didnât know how much pain my parents had put me through until I left them in the dust and landed in the Spring Court. Before I could hear anymore of the conversation I finally took off heading towards my shared room with Lucien.
âââââ âžâžâž âââââ
He stood in front of me, a soft smile on his face. Hazel's eyes so bright. Red siphons shining just as bright. His hair blew against the gentle breeze as he held his siphoned hand out to me. His wings were stretched out behind him. I wanted to know everything about who he was, about who he was to me and why Iâd been seeing him constantly. I gripped his hand, returning the smile.
Slowly I opened my eyes. Lucien had his arms wrapped around my waist, and the sudden need to break free from his grip was a lot stronger. Gently I removed myself from his grasp. I should stay in our room, but I needed some air. I could escape to the garden for a little bit, or at least until Lucien came searching for me. I hadnât told him I was seeing another male in my dreams.
I didnât even know who the male was, but he was important to me. That much was clear, maybe that was why I had started to feel the way I felt towards Lucien. I truly loved the red haired male, but not in a romantic way. More platonic, I think. I think secretly that Lucien knew that too he was just afraid to admit it. Honestly I was too. If we both admitted what we think we knew, weâd have to end the relationship.
If we were both truly mated to someone else neither of us could continue the relationship we currently had. It was fun, the sex was great but there was something missing, I knew it. With these dreams of the hazel eyed male I knew that much was true. I sat down in the grass when I realized that I had finally made it outside. I looked up at the night sky taking in the stars that shined brightly.
I really wanted to know who this male was. I wanted to see more of him. I wanted to hear his voice, his laugh, his moans, I wanted all of it. And I hated myself so much for feeling like I was betraying a male I barely knew for Lucien. I sighed in defeat and fell down to the grass. I needed to change my thoughts to something else. I fell backwards onto the grass and stared up at the sky, the stars shining brightly tonight.
âWhy arenât you in bed?â A voice ran through my body. How did he know I was up? I pulled my eyes away from the stars and looked back at Tamlin, he was upside down so I turned around to lay on my stomach, placing my hand underneath my chin so I could hold it up.
âI couldnât sleep.â That wasnât a lie, it was the truth. I really couldnât sleep, but not because of what he thought might be bothering me. I was instead thinking about another male. Tamlin stayed earthly still in his spot.
âAnother nightmare?â He asked cautiously. Which rightfully so, the last time weâd talked about my nightmares I had thrown him through a portal into a tree. He was pissed to say the least but he understood my need to not talk about my nightmares. Well, he learnt it after that situation happened.
âYes.â I lied, lowering my head to the grass shortly after. Those hazel eyes found their way back into my mind. Finally I looked back up at Tamlin. Heâd been waiting patiently for me to say something else. âDo you think Lucienâs my mate?â This question wasnât out of the norm for me to ask, as I brought it up here and there over the last 49 years. And I knew that Tamlin would answer the same way he always had since Iâd first asked the question.
âItâs very possible for the two of you to be mated to each other. You just need to give it time. These donât happen overnight.â Like I said, the same scripted answer every time I ask it.
âYeah, youâre right.â I picked myself up from the grass and started to walk past Tamlin, however his hand gripped my arm.
âWhy do you keep bringing this up?â Tamlinâs voice was rough as he asked the question, I could feel his claws breaking out and into my skin. A soft whimper left my throat at the pain. Clearly he was frustrated that I was questioning what his friend and I had. But I had every right too, there was no bond between me and Lucien. I knew that much. It was with another male and I had no idea how to get to him.
âItâs nothing Tam.â I knew he didnât believe that.
âItâs not nothing, something is bothering you, for to continuously ask this question.â
And he was right, there was no denying that. But I couldnât tell him about the male Iâd been seeing in my dreams. I couldnât let that slip that I didnât belong to Lucien, but that I belonged to someone other male. But I guess that was my luck, to be stuck to another male I didnât know. Wherever he was, I was hoping that he was searching for me.
I pulled my arm away from Tamlin and glared at him. âWhatever is bothering me is none of your concern, my nightmares or dreams are not your concern. Stop asking me why I keep bringing this up.â Before I could give Tamlin a chance to reply to me I walked back towards the mansion. Heading straight for my bedroom. I closed the door and climbed back into bed. But I stared off at the moon as it started to drift away.
I needed answers. I needed them now before Tamling got in the way of what I needed to know. I had a slight feeling that there was only one I could get answers from. Iâd need to find a way to contact Rhysand. Heâd continuously stopped in over the last few years but he never sent nothing more than a âhiâ my way. I knew what he could do, so maybe that would help me narrow down who this male was. That was my new quest.

WORD COUNT: 3.7K
You had been friends with Eddie Munson from the moment you moved into the trailer park in Hawkins Indiana. Eddie was the first personđother than your fatherđthat you left into your life after your mother. You and your father had moved back to his hometown of Hawkins just months after your mother passed away. You felt stuck, like your feet had cemented to the ground and you couldnât move forward anymore.
Then one night when you were out stargazing to feel closer to your mother, you met Eddie Munson. From the moment he came over to talk to you, you knew one day that youâd marry him. As the two of you grew older neither of you could be separated from each other. Wayne and Billđyour fatherđcouldnât separate you two from each other. They both knew collectively from the moment that you met that one day you and Eddie would end up together.
They were shocked that neither of you had come forward and admitted your feelings for each other. But a small rift formed between your friendship when you started dating Jason Carver. You shouldâve known better, but Jason had you locked under his spell and you thought it would be a way to move on from Eddie. Here you stood, Jason standing in front of you talking about the basketball game and how positive that they were going to win tonight.
But your mind constantly found its way back to Eddie, no matter how hard you tried to avoid thinking about him, you couldnât. You especially couldnât stop thinking about the way heâd feel on top of you. About the way his cock would feel deep inside you. Just thinking about him that way made you wet between your legs.
âAre you listening to me, baby?â Jason questioned, his eyes trained on you. You were pulled out of your delicious thoughts, staring at your soon to be ex. This was your chance, youâd break up with him and then youâd finally go after Eddie hoping that it wasnât too late.
âNo, Iâm not.â You whispered, then you sighed. âI canât do this anymore Jason.â Your voice was steady as you spoke to him. You watched shock slowly morph into his features.
âWhat are you saying?â You pulled your eyes away from Jason looking around the hallway seeing a few people staring at you two. Almost like they were waiting for the announcement that you were breaking up with him.
A sigh rips from your throat, âWhat Iâm saying is that Iâm breaking up with you.â
A shocked noise left Jasonâs mouth. âYou canât break up with me, weâre great together.â Jason said, throwing his hands in the air.
âI can and I am. Iâm not meant to be with you, Iâm meant to be with someone else.â
With those words you turned away from the basketball player and walked away from him as he called out your name. He didnât however make a move to stop you. As you started on your journey to find Eddie you were stopped by Dustin, Mike, Lucas, and Will; all of whom were in Hellfire with Eddie. It was nice of Eddie to take the boys under his wing this year, you loved him a little more seeing the way he treated them. They had needed a good role model other than Steve after everything that had happened over the last few years.
But you could all live a normal life thanks to El defeating the Mind Flayer. You wondered where Max and El were considering that they were all inseparable. You were certain they probably werenât far, or would be joining them soon enough.
âIs there something I can help you with?â You asked, with a raised brow.
âWe heard that you finally broke up with Carver.â Dustin said, his smile taking over his face.
âWow, that happened not even 5 minutes ago and it spread around quickly.â You pause, keeping your eyes trained on the teens. âI did. Why?â A curious expression appeared on your face as you waited for one of them to answer the question.
âDoes this mean that you and Eddie are finally going to get together?â Mike asked. All four of them plus everyone else in your friend group including Steve made it very clear to you and Eddie that you both were perfect for each other. You and Eddie were two pieces to the puzzle that fit perfectly together. Never when you were together though, only if you werenât around each other.
âYou four are something, thatâs for sure.â You paused, but allowed a smile to break through and plaster your face. âThat being said, I was on my way to find him and talk to him. Any of you happen to know where I might find Eddie? I know I should know but Iâve been distracted as of late.â
Even though youâd asked the question, you knew exactly where Eddie would be. But you wanted to make sure just in case you were wrong. He was in the drama room most likely setting up for tonightâs session for Hellfire.
âDrama room!â They all answered excitedly.
âGreat! Thank you!â
With a smile still on your lips you turned again and walked in the direction of the drama room. You were more than ready to admit your feelings to Eddie even if it meant youâd possibly ruin your friendship. You opened the door when you reached the drama room, Eddie was already setting up for tonightâs session which you were excited to see. Eddie looked up from what he was doing and smiled at you. His smile sent a warm feeling through your body.
âHey, I thought youâd be getting ready for the basketball game.â Eddie said, as he looked back down at what he was setting up.
âUh, actually, I thought Iâd skip out tonight and watch your campaign if thatâs okay.â Your voice came out soft as you talked to Eddie. But in reality you just wanted to tell him how much you loved him. How you didnât want to be apart from him anymore. But nothing would come out, your words were lodged in your throat, they wouldnât move forward.
âOf course, you know youâre always welcome here.â
You walked over to Eddie and sat down in one of the chairs. One by one the boys started to file into the drama room. El and Max were now with them too. Eventually the campaign started and you kept your eyes on Eddie for the most part. You were memorized by how he explained the storyline and the whole premise of the campaign. Things took a turn for the worst when someone else entered the drama room.
All eyes including yours fell onto her, she was so beautiful. You were nothing compared to her, suddenly you felt so self-conscious. You started to fidget with your fingers as you watched the blond walk up to Eddie, interrupting the session.
âUh, donât mind me.â She said softly, then proceeded to give Eddie a kiss to his lips, a quick peck.
But that was enough for you to feel your entire world shatter. She sat down next to him and the campaign continued. Eddie took notice of the way your posture and mood suddenly changed. He thought it was odd but shook it off. As the campaign came to a close and everyone started to pack up, you quickly said your goodbyes to everyone except Eddie and the girl that had missed him. With your back to everyone you let the tears roll down your cheeks.
You werenât upset that you had broken up with Jason. It was better for you, but you had pushed it off too long and now because of that you were too late to get Eddie, the one you always knew you wanted. Climbing in your car you turned it on and drove out of the school parking lot as fast as you could before Eddie had a chance to catch up to you. When you made it home you climbed out of your car and headed towards your trailer. Your dad was outside, a soft warm smile on his face.
âHi, darling. How was the basketball game?â He asked, curiously.
âI didnât go. I broke up with Jason because I realized that Iâm in love with Eddie. But now I canât have him because heâs dating someone else.â
You walked up the steps as you answered your father. The door closed behind you as you stepped into the trailer and headed straight for your room. Bill could hear the sadness in your voice. It broke his heart to see you like this. Once you were inside your room you locked the door, collapsed on your bed and let the rest of the tears out.
âž
Days had passed since you broke up with Jason, youâd also managed to avoid Eddie as well. It even included not going to school for those few days. Each day Eddie stopped by your home after school to talk to you, but you werenât in the right space to talk to him. Your father would send him away saying that you hadnât been feeling well. But your dad wasnât home right now and Eddie needed to see you.
He needed to understand why you wouldnât talk to him. You were curled into your side, your blanket was wrapped around your entire body and you had a horror movie on. Youâd normally watch them with Eddie, but you had it on more so for background noise. The sound was up just enough for you to not hear Eddie enter your trailer.
Your eyes were closed and your cheeks were wet with tears. No matter how hard you had tried to stop crying you just couldnât stop. It hurt too much. Eddie came up to your cracked door and knocked on it softly.
âItâs me, princess.â Eddie called out, voice soft and sweet as you remembered.
âGo away.â
Your voice was hoarse and low. You gripped your blanket tighter. Eddie ignored you, opening the bedroom door and walking in. He closed it behind him, then Eddie pulled his shoes off and climbed into your bed. You felt the dip of your bed and tried to move away. Eddie wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you into his chest.
You were desperate to get away from him. The position that you were currently in wasnât working for either of you. So Eddie lifted you up and turned your body so your back was on your bed. The metalhead pushed himself in between your legs, and you felt yourself stop breathing for a brief moment. Eddie held your hands above your head, suddenly everything was different.
âWhy are you ignoring me?â Eddie questioned, a stern look on his face. You looked up at him finally, his brown eyes staring back at you. But there was something different, his eyes were covered in lust.
âIâm not ignoring you. Let go of me Eddie.â You mumbled looking away from him. Eddie removed a hand from your hands, he reached out and grabbed a hold of your jaw turning it back so he could see your eyes.
âYes. You. Are.â He paused, eyes skimming down your body before moving back up and resting on your eyes. âI want to know why.â
âBecause.â You spoke, your bottom lip trembling as you fought back to hold the tears in. You didnât need to cry in front of him, not like this.
âBecause why?â Eddie pressed.
âI broke up with Jason, because IâŚâ You paused, it was now or never.
âYou what?â Eddie let go of your hands and pulled away from your body, he leaned down on his knees but continued to stare at you. You suddenly missed his warmth.
âI broke up with him, I couldnât bear the thought of being with someone who I didnât love. Not when the person I love is you. And I wanted to tell you, I did, really. But the words got stuck in my throat and then she came in and kissed you and I knew⌠I knew that I had missed my time.â You pulled yourself up and moved back towards your headboard, then proceeded to wrap your arms around your legs when you pulled them to your chest.
âThatâs why youâve been ignoring me?â Eddie asked as he paused, running a hand down his face. âLook, she was nothing. I told her she could come watch the campaign session, but I swear I hadnât planned for her to kiss me, okay. That was the last thing I wanted to happen.â Eddie adjusted himself, coming up next to you and wrapping an arm around you. âI always knew, you know. I always knew that I loved you, and deep down I think I always knew that you loved me too. But I didnât want to ruin what we had over my feelings. I didnât want to lose my best friend.â
âOh, Ed.â You stared up at him, his brown eyes glazing over you. Before you could stop yourself you had your lips on Eddieâs and were kissing him with all the passion you had inside you. When you finally pull back from the heated kiss, you just stare at him. âYou could never lose me.â
Eddie closed the space between you, his lips found purchase on yours again. His ringed fingers tangled into your hair, palms resting gently against your cheeks as he continued to kiss you. Eddie helped lower you down on the bed, until he was back between your legs. Your hands tangled into his long brown curly locks as he removed his lips from yours and placed them on your neck. He smirked when a soft moan escaped your lips.
The moan encouraged him to suck your skin in between his lips while his hand wandered down your chest. Finally his hand rested on your breasts, squeezing one before moving to the other. He could feel your nipples grow taut after he touched them. Eddie let off of your skin, pulling back from your body slightly. He looked down at your net to see a bruise forming where he had pulled at the skin. His smirk grew bigger as he stared down at your already blissed out face.
âIs this real?â You asked softly.
âItâs real, baby. Lean up.â Eddie said. You listened to his order and leaned yourself up from the bed slightly. âGood girl.â The words were smooth when they left his mouth, you felt yourself clenching your thighs together as Eddie leaned closer and reached for the bottom of your shirt. He grasped the shirt and started to lift it up your body.
Once the shirt was removed from your body you were left in only your bra, and shorts. Your hair fell back down landing on your chest. He threw your shirt onto the floor then reached forward again. His hands rested on your waist and slid up your back. His fingers unclasped your bra and pulled it off your shoulders. Finally he threw it to the floor and gently pushed you back down towards the mattress.
Eddie leaned down and placed kisses on your chest, slowly moving down. You gasped quietly when Eddie took a nipple into his mouth and started to flick his tongue around it. You closed your eyes, happy with just feeling him on you. Eddie pulled his lips from your nipple and moved to the other repeating the same thing. With his free hand he pinched your other nipple between his index finger and thumb.
Another moan slipped past your lips. He smirked at you, pulling away from your breasts and moving down your body. Eddie left a trail of kisses down your stomach until he reached your pussy. Eddie placed his lips on each thigh, avoiding the one spot you needed him most right now.
âEddie.â You moaned out, lust filled eyes on him. He looked amazingly handsome between your thighs and you couldnât help the smile that managed to cover your face. âPlease.â You added, your voice barely above a whisper.
âSo needy, princess.â Eddie whispered, his hot breath hitting your pussy.
He stuck his tongue out in front of your already wet cunt, then you felt his tongue on you. He licked a strip, moving from the bottom all the way to your clit. He sucked your clit into his mouth liking side to side. Gently he lifted a finger to your entrance and pushed a finger in. You tightened around his finger, a groan left Eddieâs lips causing a shutter to run through your body.
The slurping sound from his tongue ran through your ears, another moan left your lips when Eddie added another finger and curled them inside you hitting that sweet spot. You felt your orgasm inching closer with each lick of his tongue on your clit. You threw your head back, hitting your pillows. Your eyes were squeezed shut, mouth gaped open, your orgasm was so close.
âEddie, please.â You moaned.
Eddie tugs at your clit, and curls his fingers inside again. When Eddie did that you felt yourself tighten around his fingers. Then he started to pick his pace up, pulling his fingers out only to shove them back inside of you.
âThatâs it princess, cum on my fingers.â He whispered.
He stuck his tongue out again softly licking your clit. You shuttered, as you came on his fingers. Your moans echoed around the room as the remnants of your orgasm hit you. Eddie rested his head on your thigh, pulling his fingers from your entrance. You watched with blissed out eyes as he sucked your juices off his digits.
âYou taste so divine, princess.â A smile fell onto your lips. Eddie pulls himself away from you, he climbs off the bed and proceeds to remove his clothes one by one. Eddie tugs his boxers off, his cock springs free hitting his stomach, pre-cum drips from the tip. He climbs back onto the bed and hoovers over top of you.
You pull your hand to your mouth and spit on it. Then you reach out and grab a hold of his cock and begin to stroke it. A moan leaves his lips at the feeling of your hand on him. He rests his head against yours. He pushes your hand off his cock and grips it, then you feel him tapping his cock against your clit. A strangled moan leaves your swollen lips.
Eddie smirks, he pulls back, placing his cock at your entrance. You watch as he pushes his cock inside of you. Eddie moans as you grip him tightly. Another moan leaves you, Eddie pushes all the way inside and settles there allowing you to adjust to his size.
âFuck, Iâve waited so long to feel this close to you.â Eddie whispered.
âPlease move.â You stared up at Eddieâs brown eyes. Youâd waited long enough too and you needed him to move. He could see the pleading look that covered your face. Eddie pulled back just until the tip of his cock was the only thing that remained inside you. Then he pushed forward slamming back into you. Both of you moaned out in pleasure.
You could feel yourself tighten around Eddieâs cock as he continued the pace he was going. The sound of skin slapping skin echoed through the bedroom. Another moan fell from your lips, Eddie leaned forward and kissed them swallowing your moan. Eddie moves his fingers down to your clit and starts circling the bud. He pulls another moan from your lips, it echoes in the room when he pulls away to kiss your neck.
Your orgasm was getting closer. Eddieâs hips slammed into yours. Continuous moans left both your mouths as both of you inched closer towards your impending orgasm. Eddie could feel you getting closer. A smile brightened on his face. You placed a hand down on your bed and gripped the sheets tightly, arching your back.
âFuck, Eddie.â You moaned.
âAre you close?â He whispered breathlessly.
âSo close.â You mumbled. Eddie kept his finger on your clit rubbing in fast tight circles. His cock hitting that sweet spot inside of you.
âYou gonna cum all over my cock, princess?â You could only nod your head, words werenât forming on your tongue. âI want to feel you cum.â
âEddie.â Another whimpered moan left your lips after breathing his name. He felt his orgasm getting closer, but he wanted to feel you cum around his cock first.
âCum on my cock.â
You obeyed Eddie, a moan falling from your lips. Eddie felt you squeezing him, he went to pull out, however you gripped onto his arms.
âNo. Inside.â The words left your mouth and you watched through dazed eyes as Eddie complied and kept himself inside you. He slammed his hips into you a final time cum releasing inside you. Eddie slowed his rhythm down more until his hips stilled. He stared down at you with bright brown eyes. Lust filled eyes, but still bright.
Slowly Eddie removed himself from you, pulling back and climbing off the bed. You stared up at the ceiling, no thoughts in your mind just the blissful aftermath of your post orgasm. When Eddie returned you gasped feeling something could touch your cunt.
âJust cleaning you up, princess.â Eddie threw the cloth in your close basket. He climbed back into the bed and pulled you onto his chest.
âSo, what does this mean now?â You asked, finally breaking the silence after the two of you had settled down into the bed.
âIt means your mine.â Eddie whispered, placing a soft kiss on your head.
You tilted your head towards him with a smile so bright Eddie always wanted to see it. âI think I can live with that.â You leaned up to him and kissed his lips passionately.
âGood.â You laid your head down on his chest and fell asleep, at some point he had pulled his boxers on and his shirt. And you had your shirt and underwear back on. Finally he fell asleep holding you. An hour later your dad came in calling for you, when he opened the door he stared at you resting in Eddieâs arms. They were wrapped around your waist tightly.
âItâs about damn time.â He whispered, closing the door and walking back down the hallway.
Discovery of Memories 1 | Helion
SUMMARY: You had no memories when you crash landed into the Night Court. The discovery of you would cause a lot of tension, but only one was after you. One you didn't remember.
PAIRINGS: Helion x Reader
CONTENT WARNING: SFW, angst, some fluff, lost memories, mentions of trauma (will be discussed more in later parts).
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Here is the first part in my multi-part series. I'm very excited for this and can not wait to get further into this series. This will probably be a slow burn between Helion and Reader. This will also get more mature as I progress through the parts.
WORD COUNT: 1.9K
You didnât know who you were. You didnât have a name, well, you didnât remember it. A cough escaped your mouth as you picked yourself up. You looked around to see that you had landed in some kind of bakery. Eyes stared at you and it was making you uncomfortable. You swiped your hands down your clothes, the dust leaving the clothes as you did so. There were soft murmurs around the small building.
The doorbell rang, indicating that someone had entered the building. Panic was running through your body, your pulse had quickened. Where am I? You thought to yourself as you continued to look around until eventually your eyes landed on two sets of hazel eyes. They stepped closer, you noticed the Illyrian leathers that they wore. Someone had mentioned them to you, made you learn all their weaknesses.
You couldnât remember their name either. The two males were in front of you, their eyes trained on you. One male had shoulder length hair, some of it was pulled back into a small bun at the top of his head while the rest laid on his shoulders. The other male had short hair, his wings were squeezed in tightly behind his shoulders just like the other male. He had shadows surrounding his body.
From where you stood it looked like they were whispering to him. One broke free and glided over to you, hoovering in front of your face. Then it moved back towards the male like it was reporting back to him. Probably telling him that you were a threat. Though you werenât sure. Finally you took notice of 7 red and blue siphons that resided on both males. You were curious as to why they had so many siphons on their body.
âWho are you?â One asked gently, stepping towards you again.
You tilted your head slightly, a confused look resting on your face. You didnât know how to answer that question. You didnât know who you were, you couldnât remember your name, where you were born, who your family was, where you came from. None of it was there. All memories had disappeared from your mind.
âI-I donât know.â Your voice was soft and timid as you answered his question. You watched as the two males exchanged a look with each other.
âCan you come with us?â The other asked. You were hesitant to say the least, both males could see that. âWe wonât hurt you, we just want to take you to our High Lord and Lady.â You gave a small nod of your head, for some reason you knew you could trust them. Wherever youâd come from before you couldnât trust anyone. But the males in front of you seemed trustworthy.
They escorted you out of the barkery, promising to help rebuild the roof that youâd crashed into. You felt embarrassed that youâd crashed into the roof, and just before leaving you apologized to the owner for doing so.
âIâm Azriel, and thatâs Cassian.â Azriel said softly, holding his hand out to you. You gave a nod of your head and accepted his hand.
âI wish I could tell you what my name is but Iâm afraid I donât remember it.â Cassian and Azriel gave you an odd look.
âDo you remember anything?â Cassian proceeded to ask.
âJust the memories from momentâs ago when I crashed into the barkery. I donât remember anything before that.â
Azriel lifted you up into your arms causing you to release a squeak of surprise. Both males smirked at the noise. Then before you had a chance to ask what Azriel was doing his wings opened up and he shot into the sky, Cassian following right behind him. You held your head close to his chest, eyes closed tightly. You feared that at any moment youâd fall out of the sky. Though you supposed you had done exactly that.
âItâs okay.â Azriel whispered in your ear. You just shook your head, choosing to still keep your eyes closed. âWeâre landing now.â You only opened your eyes when Azriel finally put you down on the ground.
When you pulled away from Azriel there was something attached to you. You noticed that you had a few of his shadows surrounding your body. A confused expression crossed your face.
âThatâs not something you see every day, is it brother?â Cassian asked, eyes on Azriel.
âNo, itâs not. How are you doing that?â Azriel proceeded to ask, his gaze on you.
You shrugged your shoulders. âI donât know. Maybe I have the same powers as you.â
No. A voice whispered in your ear. We are not his, we are yours. Manipulation. You didnât understand what was happening. Sure you didnât remember anything before falling into the bakery, but this wasnât something you could do.
âWhat are they whispering?â
âThey're saying theyâre mine, that itâs manipulation. But what does that even mean?â
âWeâll have to figure that out. Weâll talk to Rhys and Feyre about it.â You sent Azriel a nod. You didnât understand what any of this meant but maybe theyâd help you figure out what you were missing. You looked around a sparkle in your eyes as you stared at everything down below.
âWelcome to the House of Wind.â Cassian said loudly, causing you to pull your eyes over to him. âEveryone is inside. We do have a guest with us so please donât mind the male.â
As you followed Azriel and Cassian into the home they explained that the High Lord of the Day court had stopped by to have a meeting with both Rhysand and Feyre who you learned were the High Lord and Lady they had mentioned before you left. As you walked into the room you were greeted with multiple sets of eyes. You scanned the room, there were two young children in the room, both had sets of wings on their bodies.
âThatâs the one Iâve seen.â A voice said. You looked at where the voice came from to spot a female who looked very similar to two other females in the room. She was standing next to another male, her hand entangled with his. He had long red hair that complemented his golden-brown skin. He looked somewhat similar to another male that stood in the room.
That male was wearing a golden crown on top of his onyx hair, his skin was dark brown, and you had to admit that he looked very handsome. There was something about him that tugged you towards him. Two fae walked up to you, your eyes rested on their hands seeing what looked like wedding bands. You assumed that they were married.
âYou assumed correctly.â The male said, shock ran through your eyes as you stared at him.
âThis is my husband, Rhysand. Iâm Feyre.â The female spoke, holding her hand out to you. You were afraid to shake her hand considering that you had touched Azriel and suddenly had his shadows. There were still swarming around your body. You wondered what you could do to get rid of them.
Safe. Can be trusted. Donât touch.
Feyre looked at you with a concerned look on her face. âSorry. Itâs just that when I touched Azriel. His shadows became mine. I donât know how thatâs possible though.â
âWeâll figure it out.â Rhysand said calmly. âWhatâs your name?â He proceeded to question.
âI donât know. I canât remember.â Your voice was broken when you said those words out loud to all of them. It was more broken then when you had said it to Cassian and Azriel. You watched Feyre and Rhysand exchange silent looks with each other. Almost like theyâd been having another conversation with each other.
âDo you mind if I take a look inside your mind?â Rhysand asked. You tilted your head.
âHow? Why?â You asked, taking a step back from him. Cassian and Azriel were still near you but not close enough.
âTo see if I can salvage any of your memories perhaps.â
âIt wonât hurt?â You were afraid to learn what memories had been missing.
âIt depends on what memory I can find and how good or bad it was.â
You looked back at Azriel and Cassian, already feeling attached to the two males. Theyâd been there after you had crashed landed through a roof, you trusted them. You knew when they both nodded their heads that you could trust everyone else in this room.
âOkay.â With your permission Rhysand entered your mind searching for something until he finally did find it.
âMama, papa please, please donât do this.â You cried out, tears stained your cheeks as you tried to pull away from your fatherâs strong grip. They didnât want you anymore and it hurt. You were far too dangerous for a child so they had no choice but to give you up.
âKoschei is going to take better care of you then we ever could, my darling.â Your father spoke, sadness running through his voice.
âItâs for your own good, Y/N.â Your motherâs voice was cold. You knew why. Sheâd hated you ever since you were born. You scared her with the type of power you had. No one in the village was safe. Having the ability to absorb and use oneâs power was not only dangerous to the other fae but dangerous to you as well. It could kill you if in the wrong hands. Yet they were sending you to a Death-god.
âI donât want to be with Koschei. Please, heâs going to hurt me. I donât like him.â Your sobs grew louder the closer you got to the border of your village in the Spring Court.
You knew Koschei himself wasnât picking you up as he couldnât leave his home. But you still feared what would happen when you were on that lake with him.
âItâs not in our hands anymore.â
Rhys pulled out of the memory, you collapsed to the ground. Tears rolling down your face. Cassian and Azriel tried to move towards you however another male made it over to you before you had a chance.
âMy name is Y/N, and my parents gave me up to Koschei.â You whispered, a sob leaving your lips. You looked up to see a mixed reaction of confusion and distant faces. âDo you know who Koschei is?â You proceeded to ask.
âHeâs a Death-god. Heâs been trying to leave his lake for a very long time. And with you by his side he probably could.â Rhysand explained.
âThen how did I end up here?â
âThatâs something we need to figure out.â Feyre said, blue-green eyes on you.
âWould you be willing to do more sessions like that where I or Feyre see if we can pull more memories out?â
âPlease.â It was a broken cry but you needed to know who you were and what you could truly do.
âWeâll figure this out. In the meantime no one is to touch you. Y/N has the ability to absorb other powers. Which could be catastrophic if itâs not controlled or trained properly. Hence the shadows.â
You understood what that meant, that no one with powers could come near you. At least for now, you looked at the male that stood in front of you. He hadnât touched you yet but you felt at ease with him so close. You wanted to know why that was the case, and you were determined to figure that out just like you were determined to get your memories back.
Broken | Azriel
SUMMARY: You thought Eris would be your mate, he felt like home. But that was just an illusion of what your heart wanted. Azriel, he was your home, your mate, your everything. He showed you how to heal after feeling so broken.
PAIRINGS: Azriel x Kallias!Sister Reader (Past Eris Vanserra x Kallias!Sister Reader)
CONTENT WARNINGS: NSFW, 18+ MDNI, smut with a plot, oral (m & f receiving), fingering, unprotected p in v, mentions of abuse (eris is sort of a villain in this), nightmares, angst, fluff, a happy ending.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: This one-shot is based around Broken by Isak Danielson. It's recommended to listen to this song while reading at least the beginning. It's been a while since writing smut, so I don't know how I feel about this. I hope you enjoy it regardless. I love writing for Azriel.
WORD COUNT: 4.6K
You loved Eris Vanserra more than words could describe. He was everything you needed in a partner. He helped you at your worst and you did the same for him. You had left your home court in the Winter Court. Your brother Kallias was against it, fearing what might happen to you at the hands of Beron. But Eris assured him (even if Kallis didnât believe or trust him) that youâd be safe and under his protection.
You also told your brother that youâd be able to protect yourself having also been gifted with ice manipulation like him. He gave you the go ahead so long as you kept in touch and saw him whenever you could get a chance. You agreed. You only wished that you had listened to the nagging feeling in the back of your mind that screamed danger.
During that time you feel more deeply in love with Eris, you truly couldnât imagine a life without him and prayed to the Cauldron that he was your mate. But everyday there was no lingering feeling that he was anything more than a lover that would eventually leave you in the dust for someone else, someone better. His mate, whomever they might be.
As you progressed further into the ways of the Autumn Court, the dynamics started to change. Beron berated you every chance he got, and that included how you used your power in a place where it wasnât welcome. When Eris wouldnât stand up for you to his father you understood that maybe he really didnât feel the way you felt about him.
Maybe there truly was no love between you two and he was just putting on a show. Then it hit you, he was using you for an alliance with your brother. And while it stung to be used like that you were still stuck by Erisâ side, holding out on hope that maybe just maybe heâd change his ways. Lucien Vanserra was the first real friend you made in a long time.
He was your platonic soulmate and you were his. Neither of you could be separated from each other unless the other was rushed with threats of injury. A few years after you had become friends with the younger Vanserra son, you met Azriel when he had been spying on the Court. He showed up on your land, by a house that Eris had built for the two of you but mostly for you.
Your first reaction upon seeing him was to shoot ice his way. When the first shadow touched your skin, ignoring his master. You were shocked to say the least, no words could be uttered out of your mouth. Then a few more came towards you, swimming around your body like you were made for them. Azriel was struck hard with the gold string tying around his heart and tying to you. A stranger.
But when he heard the giggles leave your lips, he knew that he would never want to leave. He was hooked on the sounds that left your lips. His world was struck upside down when you told him that you lived here with Eris, someone you hoped would be your husband one day. At that moment he realized two things, two things that hurt him deeply. The first being that the bond hadnât snapped for you. The second being that you were happy and in love with someone else.
Someone that wasnât him, he vowed from that day forward to only be a friend to you. He didnât want to step in the way of your happiness with the heir to the Autumn throne. Azriel however didnât realize just how much that would bite him in the ass later on. As the years went on you started to drift away from Eris as he did the same thing. The arguments had gotten worse.
Books, paper, anything that could be picked up by hands was always thrown around but it never hit you and you never let him get hit by your destruction. But things blurred when your powers as well as his got involved. You both had injured each other badly. You left a frozen trail along his body, while he left scorch marks across yours. Though you were worse for tare. With barely any love left to give to you, he discarded you like a pile of dirt.
Your burnt body was dropped off at the Night Court. Lucien had insisted that youâd be taken care of there though Eris didnât care much of what happened to you. Cassian had been the one to find you unconscious in the Hewn City, merely by pure luck. Had he not made a stop there to check on everything at hand so he could report back to his High Lord. When he came across your body he had remembered the way Az had talked about you.
But as he looked down at your body he knew you were not the same female that Azriel had been talking about. Picking you up bridal style he had flown you to his home. He had called Rhysand explaining what had happened and who he had in his arms. Though at the time he didnât know you were in fact the Princess of the Winter Court. Azriel was there when Cassian arrived. You were still unconscious but you could feel something tugging in your chest, something that allowed you to hold on.
Azriel had been by your side through your recovery. He had watched Rhysand name you as his emissary for the Night Court. He was there when the nightmares of Eris killing you in cold blood consumed your mind, consumed your sleep. He was there to help you get over the brute of the male. Azriel was by your side when he had learned that you were the princess of the Winter Court. Once again he was by your side when you told your brother that you had found a new home in the Night Court.
It was a place far better than the Autumn, a place you never wished to go back to. Then everything changed, and just when you thought you were finally starting to move on from Eris, you had begged Rhys to let you go with him to Amaranthaâs party. If youâd known the risks, you never wouldâve asked him to allow you to travel with him. Over the span of 49 years you were trapped Under the Mountain.
Beron and Eris made your life a living hell, something you couldnât escape. Amarantha was worse, the female did not like you in the least. She forced you to sleep around with any of the males that needed a release. At first you struggled, you were lucky enough to have Rhysand there as well as access to your brother. But it didnât help as much as you thought it would.
By the end of Amaranthaâs reign of terror you were broken again. Rhys winnowed the two of you back to Velaris, his own truth escaping his lips while you wrapped your hands around your body and refused to let anyone touch you. The only touch you had truly accepted had been Azrielâs shadows. The next few months were spent healing yourself again. Moving on from everything that happened in the Mountain, including the things Eris had managed to slip in.
When Feyre came around she was just as broken as you if not more broken. You were a ghost just like her, and it was clear that Rhysand was not only worried about her but he was worried about you too. Azriel however was the first you allowed to help. A particular nightmare of Eris hurting you had woken you up. Had caused you to run to the bathroom to expel what little food you had eaten the day before. Azriel was there in the bathroom rubbing your back softly.
âItâs ok, sweetheart.â His voice was soft, but his touch terrified you. However you were too lost in your own mind to even say something to him. When you were done you laid down on the floor and cried. For the first time in a very long time you let everything you were feeling out.
âI feel so broken.â You whispered through the cries that left your throat.
Azriel shook his head, then he lied down next to you. His hazel eyes stared straight at your tear stained eyes. âYou are a lot stronger than you think, Y/N. You just have to find a way out of whatâs broken you and become a better version of yourself.â Azriel said, reaching his pinky finger out to grab a hold of your pinky.
âWhat if I canât move past it?â
âYou can. I know you can.â
Those words were enough encouragement to get through everything that had happened. To grow with what has happened to you and to not let it weigh you down. You were finally making progress, healing yourself from everything Eris had done, from what had happened Under the Mountain. You were not as broken as you once had been. It crashed down when war rose on the horizon. Hybern was going to destroy everything.
When Azriel had been hurt in the war something changed inside you. It hadnât quite been the snap of the bond that connected your soul to his but it had been a start. You were by his side when he was injured. But you didnât get close enough to touch him. His shadows moved around his body, one near you. One shadow was always near you and you didnât understand why. Everything that had happened between you and Azriel never made sense until it finally did.
After defeating Hybern you had struggled with the things youâd seen on the battlefield, including Cassianâs injuries and watching Feyre cry out for her mate. You donât know why you did it but your eyes found Azriel. A gasp left your mouth as the High Lords had brought Rhys back. Tears fell from your eyes and you lifted your hand to your chest as the gold thread tied you to the shadowsinger. In the aftermath of everything that happened you stood in your tent. Lucien walked in, glancing at you. He noticed that you were on your bed and hadnât moved at all since coming back.
âAre you ok?â He asked, kneeling down in front of you.
âAzriel. Heâs my mate.â Saying the words out loud made it more real. You needed to talk to Azriel, you needed to understand why heâd spend all this time with you but never told you about the bond.
âWould you like me to find him?â You stared down at Lucien, smiling softly at the male and his kindness. No matter what had happened between you and him it had never come between your friendship.
âPlease.â It was a broken whisper that left your mouth as you continued to stare at him.
âOf course, Iâll be right back.â You watched silently as Lucien stood from the mud and walked out of your tent to find your mate. Seconds seemed to pass and suddenly Azriel was standing in your tent with Lucien right behind him. You didnât look at Azriel, your eyes stayed on Lucien. He gave a nod and walked back out of the tent allowing you your privacy with Azriel.
âLucien said you needed me? Are you ok?â He asked, there was a seriousness in his voice.
âIâm fine.â However you paused and lowered your head. âWell, no, actually Iâm not.â
He was in front of you before you had a chance to react, he was so close. His scarred hands reached out to grab yours hesitantly. You reacted by pulling yours away from him. Not because you didnât want to feel his touch but right now you needed the truth.
âWhatâs wrong?â He said harshly, as a cold look fell onto his face. He was quick to hide the hurt that had washed across his face.
âHow-â You stopped yourself to catch the tears that were threatening to fall down your face. Finally you took a inhale and exhaled. âHow long have you known I was your mate?â Shock crossed his face as he looked at you.
âY-You know?â That was further proof that he had known for a long time.
âIt snapped for me when Rhys was resurrected. I looked at you, and I felt that thread. You knew, you knew that I had been looking for a mate and all this time it was you.â You stood up and he stood up with you. You moved closer to him and poked his chest. âYou didnât tell me. Why didnât you tell me? How long have you known? Please, I need to know.â
Azriel released a sigh, he moved to your bed and sat down. Briefly running his hands through his black hair. You loved everything about him, and now that you knew he was your mate you were so excited, but you had to contain yourself until he explained everything. Finally he started speaking.
âDo you remember when I was spying on the Autumn Court and I had accidently found your cabin?â Azriel asked, as his hazel eyes found yours. You nodded, walking around the room and picking up some bread that you hadnât eaten yet.
âI do. I remember it like it was yesterday.â You smiled, sitting down next to him. Even then, even before you knew he was your mate you always felt a tug towards him. It was different from what youâd felt at the time for Eris. But you chose to ignore it, so afraid of what might come from it.
âI landed on your porch and you opened the door, because you thought it was the princeling. My shadows, they wouldnât listen to me when I told them not to touch you. But they did, and I was holding my breath because I was afraid that you wouldnât like them.â He paused, just as one of his shadows moved to wrap around your leg. âBut then you laughed, and suddenly I wanted to hear it every day, I wanted to hear the giggles that came from your mouth every day. And the bond snapped. I felt it in my chest, I felt it tie me to a stranger, someone I didnât know anything about.â
He paused again, âIâm sensing a but.â You commented, causing him to chuckle and nod.
âThere were two things I was certain of before I left. One: that you didnât feel the bond, two: that you were happy and in love with someone else and I couldnât ruin that. I didnât want to ruin your happiness. But then Eris left you at our court and I wanted to kill him for what heâd done to you. Rhys, and Cass had to talk me out of it and they did. I couldnât tell you then because you were healing yourself. So I was there for you as a friend, I didnât tell you because I didnât want to force you on it especially when you were still dealing with what happened between you and Eris.â
âIâm sorry, Iâm so sorry you had to go through that, that you had to see me be happy with another male. Iâm sorry.â Azriel shifted on the makeshift bed, he brought his hands to your face and stared at you.
âNo, you donât need to apologize for this. I would go through this over and over if it was the same outcome. I wouldnât change any of it.â His words were nothing more than a whisper. You smiled and gave him a nod. You knew what you wanted to do.
âIâll be right back.â You said, placing a kiss on his cheek.
You stood from the bed and left the Illyrian male confused in your tent. There was some food nearby, under another tent. You felt eyes on you as you walked towards it to grab some bread. When you looked up you saw your friends staring at you. They all had bright smiles plastered to their faces, knowing very well what you were about to go do.
In truth you knew you should probably wait, but the reality of what could happen tomorrow, or the next day, or years from now was more of a reason to give him the bread. You knew the moment that Azriel had stuck around to help you through your darkest moments that you loved him. There was no hesitation in this. Rhys walked up to you, he gave you a nod.
âIâd like to have a mating ceremony when we get back to Velaris.â You whispered.
âConsider it done.â
âThank you.â
Rhys stepped away allowing you to head back in the direction youâd come from. When you entered the tent Azriel stood in the center of the tent staring at your hand. You couldnât keep the smile that had graced your lips away.
âAre you sure about this?â He asked, stepping towards you.
âIâve loved you for a long time, Az.â You heard him suck in a breath when you admitted that. âI was afraid to admit it to myself because for a long time I truly felt broken. I felt that I didnât deserve your love and I tried to hide from that. But knowing what I know now, I canât do that to myself anymore, nor you. When we get back home, weâll have a mating ceremony in front of our friends. But for now, I think this privacy will work for me if it works for you.â
You felt the gold bond humming inside you as Azriel stepped towards you. âI donât care where we are as long as I can make you mine.â He said, possessively.
âThen eat the bread.â
That was all he needed. Azriel snatched the bread from your hand and proceeded to take a bite from it. The bond was shining brighter. When he swallowed the bite of food he dropped the bread to the ground and placed his hands on your hips pulling you against him. His lips found purchase on yours. It was a rough kiss but you didnât mind it. Azriel slowly started to walk you back towards the makeshift bed.
His fingers grasped your leathers and started to pull them off. You lifted your arms allowing your top half to be fully exposed to him. His hands gripped your breasts, while he left a trail of kisses down your throat. His lips wrapped around one of your nipples and he sucked it into his mouth between those lips. Azrielâs free hand found your other breast and squeezed it, tugging at the nipple. A moan escaped your lips, the shadowsinger smirked at you when he pulled back.
Gently he laid you down on the makeshift bed and proceeded to help you remove the rest of your leathers. He followed behind only removing his leathers from the top half. You groaned at the sight of his toned chest. Azriel hoovered above you, his lips connecting back to your mouth for another kiss. Then he pulled away, moving his lips down your body until he was close to your core. You lifted your head slightly, lust filled eyes staring straight at Azriel.
He stuck his tongue out, leaned closer and licked a strip from your entrance up to your clit before he sucked the bud into his mouth. A soft moan escaped your lips, your hands reached out grabbing a hold of Azrielâs locks. His scarred finger pushed into your entrance, while his tongue glided along your folds. He added another finger inside of you then curled those fingers hitting that sweet spot inside you.
Another moan left your lips, and your fingers tightened on his hair pulling at it. Your arousal coated his fingers when he pulled them out. Azriel quickly shoved them back in bringing you closer to your first orgasm.
âYour cunt is going to feel so good around my cock, sweetheart.â His voice rumbled over your pussy causing you to whimper at the words that left his mouth.
âAz.â You whisper-moaned. He only smirked hearing his name come out of your mouth. âSo close.â
âCum on my fingers, sweetheart.â He only smirked and quickened his pace.
His fingers moved quicker, and he sucked your clit back into his mouth. You were clenching around his fingers as your orgasm hit you, moan after moan leaving your mouth. You threw your head back feeling nothing but utter bliss as your orgasm crashed onto you. Azriel removed his fingers from your cunt and placed them in his mouth liking your juices clean off them.
Azriel leaned over you again and placed a kiss on your lips. You could taste yourself on him and it brought a smile to your face. The way you felt currently, you never felt with Eris. You sent your love and affection down the bond as you flipped Azriel so he was on his back. He stared up at you as you hovered over him.
âMy turn.â You whispered breathlessly.
He smiled at you, watching as you wrapped your fingers around the waistband of his leathers and pulled the pants down. You watched with hungry eyes as his cock sprang free from the confines. He was big, but you were on a mission so youâd make him fit. Once his remaining clothes were off you gripped his cock in your hand. Azriel bucked his hips when you started to tug on his cock.
Sticking your tongue out you licked from his base all the way to the red angry tip at the top. Then you took the tip into your mouth, sucking on it gently at first. You heard Azriel moan as you pushed more of his cock into your mouth. You couldnât fit all of him in so you gripped the rest with your hand. Pulling your mouth back you pulled just until the tip was barely in your mouth. Then you moved back down on his length.
Azriel reached his scarred hands forward, grasping a hold of your hair and holding it up away from your face so he could watch you take his cock into your mouth. You quickened your pace while your free hand moved down to cup his balls. A dark groan came from his lips, he threw his head back feeling closer to his impending orgasm. But he didnât want to cum in your mouth. Azriel pulled you off his cock, and you looked at him with a sad look.
âAs much as I want to cum in your mouth I rather cum in that pretty pussy of yours mate.â He said, pulling you on top of him. You could only smile at him. You grabbed a hold of Azrielâs cock again and rubbed it against your clit, eliciting a moan from the both of you. Finally you pulled his cock to your entrance and slowly you started to push it inside you. âSo fucking tight.â He groaned out.
You sat there for a few moments, watching Azrielâs shadows moving around his body and then moving over to yours. A soft moan came from your lips when they touched you. You rested your hands down on his chest while Azriel rested his hands on your hips. He bucked up inside you causing you both to moan again.
Finally you started to move your hips, pulling up till just the tip of his cock was still inside. Then you moved back down the full length of him moving inside of you. Happy, you were so happy. Azriel could see it in your eyes. He took the opportunity and flipped you both back over so he was once again on top of you. His hips started to slam into you, his cock brushing that sweet spot.
Another moan escaped your lips and you reached for Azriel pulling his body closer to yours. Your lips found purchase on his and you kissed him almost like your life depended on it. Like youâd wake up tomorrow and this would be all gone.
âDonât leave me.â You whispered, trying to move past the tears that wanted to escape in this moment.
âI wonât. I will never ever leave you again.â He said it with another snap of his hips. You clenched around him, feeling another orgasm on its approach. âCum for me.â He whispered. His shadows continued to swirl around your body.
âCum with me.â You whispered, staring up at Azriel. He looked back down at you.
Your orgasm hit first blinding pleasure covering your entire body, but Azrielâs followed quickly behind you. You could feel him painting your insides with his release. Azriel rested his forehead against yours, continuing to move inside you until your body calmed down from the orgasm. You sighed and smiled at him.
Azriel removed himself and lied down on the makeshift bed. He pulled you on his chest, your head resting in the crook of his neck while his wings and shadows wrapped around the two of you. This was utter bliss to be here at this moment. Azriel pulled the blanket over the two of you while you trailed the tattooed ink in his biceps.
âSo what now?â You asked, though you knew what would happen.
âYou're mine now. Iâm not ever letting you go.â Azriel whispered back.
âIs that a promise?â Youâd asked, knowing very well what you were tricking him into.
âYes it is.â And just like that a bargain marked your body as well as his. Shadows mixed with ice tangled on your collarbone, when you leaned up you could see it on Azrielâs collarbone as well.
âY/N, your brother is looking for you.â Feyre said, walking into your tent. She stopped in her tracks when she smelled your scent mixed with Azrielâs. âOh, Iâm sorry.â She whispered quickly, turning around but not leaving.
âCan he wait?â You asked, not really wanting to leave the arms of your mate.
âNo, he wants to say goodbye before he and Viviane head back to home.â Feyre answered.
âAll right, weâll be out shortly.â You said.
âSo, did Az finally tell you that you were mates?â Feyre asked.
âShe knew?â You looked at Azriel who a serious look on his face.
âI didnât know she knew, I guess Rhys probably told her.â Azriel answered.
âHe didnât need to. I figured it out when I saw the two of you interact with each other.â
âGods, does everyone else know?â You couldnât hide the smile that was on your face. You really didnât care if theyâd known before you. In the end youâd made the right decision to leave Eris behind because it led you to your mate, it led you to your forever.
âI think so.â Feyre said leaving before you could ask her any more questions.
You rolled your eyes. âI bet that Kallias and Viviane already knew too.â
âI guess youâll have to ask them.â Azriel smirked and rolled on top of you staring down into your eyes. âI love you, and Iâm going to spend forever making sure you know just how much I love you.â
âI love you too.â You paused, staring at his hazel eyes. âI wouldnât expect anything less than that. Forever with you sounds nice. Itâs a fresh start for me and I couldnât be more thrilled than to have this fresh start with you by my side, mate.â
âGood.â He kissed you again, but Feyre once again interrupted the moment leaving you to laugh at the angry washing onto Azrielâs face. He had gone from a stranger to the male that helped to make you feel a little less broken in this world, and now he was your mate. That was a promise, a promise that you didnât want to ever break. You knew it was the happy ending you both deserved.

WORD COUNT: 2.5K
You were trapped Under the Mountain with your husband. He needed a partner, you needed a reason to leave your family behind in the Court of Nightmares. He was that escape for you, and you were that savior for him. It was only ever a marriage based upon a deal. But over the years youâd both fallen in love with each other. Thatâs what you had told yourself anyway. You knew that he told himself that too. Rhysand wasnât Azriel⌠he wasnât your mate.
Just before you and Rhysand had left for the party, you had felt the bond snap between you and Azriel. Though you hadnât been sure if he had felt it. Youâd never got the chance to ask anyway. You and Rhys were trapped Under the Mountain for 49 years, with no way for you to feel the bond between you and Azriel. It truly broke something inside you and you had felt it. You knew how you had gotten to this moment in time.
A human had saved you all, but you had suffered choosing to protect her from the wrath of Amarantha. She didnât take too kindly to that. You were separated from the others not even knowing what had happened with the trials. You lied on the cold floor under the mountain still. Blood was leaking from your body, from the deep cuts that littered your body.
âA punishment for intervening with the human.â Sheâd said to you before they had dragged you away from Rhys. Panic had run through your body but it truly wasnât enough to save you. The sobs had long since stopped coming out of your mouth. You felt so hollow lying there on the floor. The cold air rushed against the open cuts on your back. After the guards had left your room youâd heard commotion.
But you made no move to get up off the floor, too much pain ran through your body to allow you to pick yourself up from the floor. You felt calloused hands touch the side of your arm. Slowly you opened your eyes and looked up to see your husband staring back at you. A sad expression crossed Rhysandâs face as he kneeled down to look at you.
âMy love.â He whispered, tears threatening to escape from his eyes.
âI donât want you to see me like this.â You said softly, closing your eyes and pulling your head away from Rhys.
âI need to get you home.â Your eyes opened up and you stared up at him.
âWhat are you talking about?â
âSheâs dead, weâre free. I need to get you to Madja.â You felt shock course through your body.
You would finally be heading home to your mate, seeing him for the first time in 49 years. âHow?â It was a simple question and all you could get out.
âFeyre, she saved us all.â When your eyes found Rhysandâs violet eyes, you saw that look. You knew all too well what that look meant.
âSheâs your mate isnât she?â You asked. Rhys only nodded. âAzâŚâ You paused, watching Rhys stare at you with a raised brow. But he seemed to understand what you were trying to say.
âYouâll see him soon enough.â Rhys gripped your hand and the two of you winnowed back to your home.
âž
Darkness is the only thing you saw before you woke up. The pain to your back was unbearable and you ended up passing out in Rhys arms. Azriel sat in the bed holding onto your hand, you rested on your stomach and the wounds on your back were starting to heal. He still wasnât processing the fact that his brother and his mate were back home. It was so unreal to him. His shadows gilded around your body, careful to not touch your back.
They were beyond happy to have you back. You were home. Azriel wasnât going to let anything happen to you, not ever again. He looked up when he saw Rhys standing at the door, he gave a small nod and adjusted his wings, pulling them in tightly as he stepped off the bed and walked over to Rhys.
âHowâs Y/N?â Rhys asked, violet eyes on his wife. Though he knew that there might be a divorce in the future. You and Rhys would want different things now. He knew it even if you werenât awake to express that. Rhys still cared for you deeply and would still allow you a home. Besides he knew that Azriel would kick his ass if he let you go back to the Court of Nightmares.
âHolding on.â Azriel kept his hazel eyes on you not wanting to look away for a second. He was so afraid that heâd lose you again. Not being able to hold you, comfort you, be there for you when you were struggling it was killing him.
âYou know she doesnât blame you for what happened to us.â Rhys said, picking up on what he was thinking just by the way heâd been staring at you.
âI shouldâve gone with the both of you to the damned party.â Azrielâs tone was clipped, his jaw tight. He crossed his hands over his chest while his shadows moved around his body. Only a few remained near you.
âI gave you an order to stay here. Y/N, told you to listen to it. We didnât need you there, we needed you here with everyone else to watch over Velaris. Y/N had told me that Amarantha might try to do something, she had told me that it was best that we go and make sure you all stay back here.â
âHow did she know?â Azriel placed his hazel eyes on his brother.
âI donât know, gut feeling I suppose. Iâve been wanting to see if Y/N might have some type of power.â
âCould that be possible?â
âIt could be. We found out that sheâs Hybernâs child. Amarantha told us. Apparently her mother escaped to the Court of Nightmares but gave her up before disappearing. No one had seen or heard from her that Y/N was left with that despicable family.â
âIf you two get a divorce will she be sent back to the Court of Nightmares?â Rhys could hear the panic and worry in his brotherâs voice. Finally Rhys turned to place his full on Azriel.
âWe will get a divorce because Iâm not you, she wants to be with you and to be honest sheâs not Feyre. We had discussed this when we got married in the beginning. That should one or both of us find our mate and we want to accept it the other would allow a divorce. Iâm letting her go, I still care for her deeply but she is not mine to love, not anymore.â
âYou didnât answer my question.â Azriel said sternly.
âI wonât send her back, Az. You should already know that. Y/N is your mate and your hers. Sheâs also a valued member of the Inner Circle. I do not plan on tossing her aside because Iâve found myself. I made a bargain to keep her protected from that family and I will continue to do that.â Rhys paused, he placed his violet eyes on you. You had heard the last stretch of their conversation. Rhys had told Azriel that you belonged to Hybern, that you were his offspring and yet he was still here. âIâll leave you two alone.â
Rhys disappeared before Azriel could say anything further. You adjusted your body slightly to get more comfortable on the bed. Azriel was quick to move to your bed. You felt a few of his shadows swarm your body, they were being mindful of the cuts.
âCan you help me up?â You asked, as you were eager to get out of the bed and walk around. Azriel only nodded, he was silent and you started to think it was because of who your true father was. Azriel held onto your hands as he helped you walk around your room.
âHow are you feeling?â He asked softly, his gaze on you. You had to look up at him, he was so much taller than you were.
âIâm fine.â You replied, it was a lie though. You were in a nightmare of your own making. Things were happening, you could feel it. Something was happening, a war was coming and you didnât know how to tell them.
âž
Three weeks had passed, Rhysand, Azriel and Madja thought that they were getting better. And you were getting better, at least your back was. But you were declinding, your mind wasnât the way it was before Amarantha had happened. And with all the trauma youâd received at the hands of your adoptive mother and adoptive father, followed by Amarantha. It was a struggle for you.
Cassian sat in your room with you, the door was open and the windows were open too. A breeze flew in while a shadow hovered around you. Azriel was out on a mission, he didnât want to go by Rhys needed him to go on this mission so heâd ask Cass to sit with you and watch over you while he was gone. You laid on your bed, not facing the light coming from the sun outside. It was too bright in here for your liking.
You pulled the covers over your head ignoring Cassian when you knew he was staring at you. It pained him to see you like this. To see you suffering in silence and not sharing it with anyone. You hadnât even talked to Rhys and Az about what was bothering you. But the truth was simple, you didnât know how to tell them, to talk about the things that Amarantha forced you to do. It was far worse than the punishment youâd gotten for trying to intervene to save Feyre.
Sheâd discovered your powers, knew what you could do. And she used that to her advantage. Every time she manipulated you, made you believe that sheâd find your mate and youâd watch him die. Thatâs when you learned from Amarantha that you were able to sense bad things. You knew that you could sense good things, but the majority of the time it was a handful of bad things that followed you around. You werenât a seer.
That much was clear, while you could predict things before they could happen you couldnât see them. Only feel them with every inch of your body, mind, and soul. You had yet to explain this to Rhysand. You knew he was itching to know what abilities you had. He was trying to see if youâd be a threat to him. You felt the room get darker, and suddenly you could hear voices all around you. One voice belonged to Cassian, the other belonged to your now ex-husband.
The divorce was quick and easy. You hadnât been ready to accept the mating bond yet and Azriel was okay with that, he was okay with waiting even though thatâs not what he felt on the inside. The sheets were ripped from your body and you groaned reaching for a pillow to pull over your head.
âNo, youâve been moping around for three weeks Y/N. You need to get up out of this bed now, and we need to discuss your powers.â His voice boomed around in your room, the pillow was then yanked from your hands. Your hair was wild and you were now glaring at the High Lord.
âWhy? So you can throw me out the second I seem like Iâm going to be a threat to your court.â You tried to hold yourself together, you stood on your bed on your knees glaring at Rhys, and Cassian who was still in the room. His face seemed to soften at the confession that left your lips.
âI will never throw you out of my court, you may not be my wife anymore. But you are and always will be one of my best friends. I made a promise to keep you safe and no matter what I will keep that. But this moping around needs to stop, youâre hurting Azriel.â
You were hurt, those words âyouâre hurting Azriel,â they swarmed your mind. The words seemed to send you into a panic, you collapsed to the bed. Your eyes were staring up at the ceiling. Rhy's eyes came into view but you couldnât move. It was happening again and you knew it. This is what Amarantha said youâd do when they started. Youâd go deathly still as fragments of images and words appeared in your mind.
Youâd always done your best to hide this from your family (well adoptive family), but when they saw it they knew it was grounds for punishment. And everytime it happened afterward youâd be sent to your room where youâd be locked in there for a week sometimes longer. When you made it to Velaris youâd gotten good at hiding it so they didnât know about your power. Because you and Rhys didnât sleep with each other or in the same room he never saw it.
It wasnât until Amarantha that things got worse. Sheâd managed to unlock something inside you and turn this into a far more powerful being. You refused to call yourself a seer because you couldnât see full on visions. When you finally got your vision back you saw Rhys and now Cass. They were both staring down at you worry etched across both their faces.
âWhat was that, Y/N?â Rhys questioned, as he and Cass lifted you up into a sitting position.
âI donât remember much about my mother aside from the constant visions she had. They werenât visions though, more like clipped images and words. And you know Hybern is my father, then that tells you all you need to know about who Iâm supposed to be.â You said, pushing your hand up to your forehead to rub the pain away.
âAnd who are you supposed to be?â This time a new voice entered the conversation. You looked up to see your mate staring at you. A few of his shadows gathered around the other shadow that had stayed with you while Azriel was out on his mission. You stood from the bed and ran over to your mate collapsing into his chest as he wrapped his arms around your waist and his shadows swarmed the two of you.
âMy mother gave me up for one reason only. I didnât understand why and it never made sense, not until Amarantha told me. She was told to hand me over to my father if she ever caught me but she went against his order because she wanted me for herself. She used to tell me that Iâd be a very powerful seer one day. I guess because I could see images and words that it would one day be useful especially if I fell into the full ability of my power.â
âSo what does that mean then?â Cassian proceeded to question.
âIn the wrong hands I could one day help destroy the world.â

AUTHOR'S NOTE: So I ended up turning this into a few parts. There are a few points I want to touch and I don't think it would've been a good idea to do one whole part. If you wish to be added to the tag list for this please let me know down in the comments. The sumary will most likely stay the same I'm not sure yet.
WORD COUNT: 2.0K
It felt like forever. The torture you faced under your botherâs ruleing. It wasnât protection as he liked to call it. It was a prison, Tamlin had taken over after your father had been killed. You hadnât been able to shed a tear when it happened, you always assumed that you werenât meant to be in the Spring Court. When Feyre arrived as a human, you knew she was your chance for an escape.
So when she took the opportune moment to leave, you followed right behind her. Currently you didnât understand how you had found yourself in this situation. You, Feyre, and Lucien had been on the run from the Spring Court. Little cuts littered your chest, arms, neck, and face. It was so cold, you didnât know if you could hold on any longer. One of Lucienâs brothers was on top of you, holding you against the ice.
He lifts your head up and slams it down into the ice hard. Stars are dancing around your eyes, as you struggle to keep the blade from going into your throat. Your hand was on the blade, blood dripping onto your neck. A whimper escaped your lips as he stared down at you with a malevolent smile.
âYou make such pretty sounds, I wonder what else I could get out of you.â He whispered, his tongue licking up the side of your chin all the way to your pointed ear.
You tried to push the male of you but it was no use. He was far stronger than you, and right now you were too weak. You couldnât access your power considering you were drained. There were plants all around you even in the Winter Court but that was the last thing on your mind. It also didnât help that you had never learned to fight. Tamlin had thought it was best you learn how to be a housemaid, how to be a mother, how to take care of your future husband.
Whatever the case may be you learned everything except how to fight and how to use your powers in a situation like this, it was biting you in the ass. Where Tamlin could shape-shift, you could manipulate the plants around you. But your brother didnât know that, you knew better than to tell him your secret. Just before he could do further damage to you another male flew into him knocking him to the ice.
You turned to your side, a wince leaving your lips as you watched that same male throw a punch into his face. He continued to do so, he hadnât been able to stop until someone had pulled him off Lucienâs brother. He wasnât dead, you knew that he was knocked out cold. Your breath was shallow, as the male turned towards you red siphons glistening in the darkness of the night. He was leaning over you, hazel eyes searching you.
He gently picked you up, resting your head to his chest while he cradled the rest of your body. You stared up at him, when he looked back down at you, it snapped. Just before you closed your eyes you felt the gold thread tied around your heart. The mating bond had snapped, you were tied to the male that had just saved you. Now that you were safe you could close your eyes and thatâs exactly what you did.
âž
Rhysand stood next to his brother as Madja worked on you. Cassian had his arms crossed over his chest, he was leaning against the door. The male was trying his hardest not to hover over Madja while she worked on his mate. But it was excruciating not to be next to you to hold your hand while she healed you.
âAre you positive?â Rhysand asked again, finally looking over at his brother. Feyre was at the end of the hallway, with Azriel as well. Lucien was also there but Cassian didnât care much for him, his brother was responsible for the injuries to his mate. He wanted to kill him so they were standing guard in front of Lucien.
âYes. The Princess of the Spring Court is my mate. I know she felt it too.â Cassian explained again, saying the same thing heâd consistently said when they had arrived back home. Cassian paused, staring briefly at his brother. âDo you really think she has powers?â
âFeyre believed it, and I know what I saw when we were under the mountain. Tamlin didnât see it but Amarantha did. She protected herself in a cocoon of vines. Whatever she can do, sheâs more powerful than she believes herself to be.â
Cassian had heard mentions of the story about how youâd protected yourself to avoid the affliction of pain at the wrath of Amarantha. She loved your older brother, but she hated you. So sheâd made your torture just as cruel and wicked as Feyre had gone through. She even locked you up with Feyre, keeping you distanced from the only family youâd ever known. Tamlin. Lucien.
Rhys had told Cass that he had done everything in his power to keep you safe. But when that happened, everything changed. He knew eventually youâd be in his court. Tamlin would destroy you, and it looks like heâd already done just that. Finally Rhys looked back at Cassian again.
âWe need to keep her safe.â
âSheâs my mate, I wonât let her go back to that bastard of a brother. Sheâs safe here.â Cassian stated calmly. He caught Rhys looking down the hall to Feyre who gave a nod.
âThen you both need to accept the bond officially, Tamlin will demand her back. And if it isnât accepted we have no choice but to hand her back over.â
âIâll discuss it with her when sheâs awake. Until then I canât do much.â
Rhys gave a nod of his head as Madja walked up to them. âShe is healed, though she might be out for a few days. Everything was drained, powers included. She needs time to rest.â Madja explained.
âThank you.â Cassian said, stepping past the healer and walking into the room. He grabbed a chair and set it next to your bed. Then he reached for your hand, holding it in his. Cassian would wait days for you to wake up, as long as you came back to him.
âž
You held onto that thread when you thought you might die. Slowly you blinked open your eyes, a groan escaped your lips. You looked around the room noticing that you werenât in the Spring Court. Then the memories of what had happened came flashing back into your mind. Panic started to rush through your body, however a hand gave you a comforting squeeze. You turned your head to see the male that had saved you holding onto it.
Just like you remembered he had red siphons on his body. Seven of them to be exact. His black hair was shoulder length, some of it was tied back in a small bun. He looked sexy with his hair that way. A smirk covered his lips, he must have seen what you were thinking was plastered on your face. His golden-brown skin made him look just as handsome. You could see some tattoos peaking through his shirt.
It was a gray shirt and was fitted perfectly to his upper body. You wondered what everything looked like underneath his clothes. Your mind started to drift, thinking of what heâd feel like against you, naked. His pulling of the chair brought you out of your thoughts, you decided to pull yourself up slightly so you could lean against the headboard. You felt the golden string that connected you to him. It was such a pain to not be closer to him. You needed him closer.
âCan you hold me?â Your voice was soft as you asked the question. He stared at you, the confusion was there only for a moment before it switched to understanding. You watched as the male stood from the chair, removed his boats and climbed into your bed. He leaned you forward gently, sitting behind you.
When he settled down into the bed, he pulled you towards his chest. You had noticed that somewhere in between him joining you on the bed he'd taken off his shirt so you could feel his warmth. You rested your head back on his chest, and closed your eyes feeling the bond shine brightly at the touch.
âIâm Cassian.â He whispered in your ear after a few moments of silence.
âY/N.â You paused, pulling his large hand into yours and entangling your fingers together. You didnât understand how youâd gotten so lucky to be blessed with a mate provided by the Mother. âSo you really are my mate?â
You questioned finally. Maybe this was all a dream, and youâd wake back up in the Spring Court. You didnât want that though, youâd known you had finally gotten away from your brother's temper and you couldnât go back to it. Things had gotten worse for you when youâd all returned from under the mountain.
âI am.â Cassianâs words were so comforting as he said them.
âI didnât think Iâd ever get a mate. I⌠Tam said Iâd never experience this. That Iâd be marrying off to someone who would never be my mate.â You felt your mate tighten his grip around your waist, his jealousy was evident but you didnât mind it. Oddly enough it felt comforting, youâd been missing something like that for a long time.
Cassian clenched his jaw at the mere mention of what your brother had in store for you when the time was right. He nudged his nose into your hair. âI can assure you mate, thatâll never happen. I will not allow your brother to take you away from me.â
âBut Tam, heâll try to get me back. I am the princess of the Spring Court after all. Heâll try to call a meeting, to call for a battle against this court.â The worry was evident in your voice as you spoke the words that Rhys had mentioned a few days ago.
âIf we accept the mating bond, your brother can not do anything about it. We can accept it then see a Priestess.â
You wanted to reject the idea of accepting the bond so quickly, but you knew that was a lie. Cassian was your mate, and you were his. This had to be done, and it had to happen now. A war loomed over your heads because of your brother. Heâd chosen the wrong side and you wouldnât stand by anymore. Not with what you could do.
âLetâs do it.â You spoke finally. âI need a day, and we need somewhere where it can be just the two of us. When we come back weâll see a Priestess.â
âI have a place in mind for privacy.â Cassian said, a smirk on his lips. âI can give you a day as well. But after that youâre mine forever, princess.â You only gave a nod and closed your eyes leaning further into Cassianâs chest. It wasnât until you were finally asleep, breathing evenly that Cassian called to Rhys in his mind.
âHow is she?â It was the first question he had asked when the conversation started.
âSheâs fine.â Cassian paused, he glanced down at his mate. âShe wants to accept the bond.â
âGood. Thatâs excellent news brother. I think we could all use that right now.â
âWeâre gonna head to the cabin for a few days, then weâll see a Priestess when we come back.â
âSounds like a plan. When you both come back weâll discuss what to do in case Tamlin does try to do something. I want to help her learn her powers if sheâll let me.â
âI think sheâd be more than willing to learn. I think it would be great to start training with her as well even if we donât get far into it.â
âGood idea, brother. Both of you get some rest. Iâll let Feyre know sheâs doing better.â
With those words Cassian felt his High Lord leave his mind. When Cassian looked back down at you he noticed that you were asleep. The fae lights in the room dimmed down allowing only the moonlight into the room. Cassian held onto you tightly as you slept on top of his form. This wasnât the best of circumstances, how he found you. But he was so glad that heâd found you when you needed him most.
Other Information
AUTHOR'S NOTE: As you can see I decided to redo my masterlist, so with it I will be redoing other stuff as well and that'll be all here on one post and tagged into my masterlist. This will inculde rules, how to request, and how to be apart of tags, as well as fandoms I'm apart of and characters I'm currently writing for or want to write for.
RULES
Please be patient if you request a one-shot from me. Unless I don't want to write the request (which is a big if, and I'll most likely write it), I will try to get the request out as quick as I can. I update three days every other week (for right the time being) so it'll most likely be added to a schedule I have for updates.
I will not tolerate any kind of hate on my page. This is a safe place and I want it to stay like that especially when it comes to request. If you are rude in anyway shape or form, you will be blocked from my account.
This is and will be an 18+ account as I get further into my writing. So if you do not have your age in your bio you will be blocked. Please make sure that you read the ones only if they are safe to be read, and please keep an eye on the trigger warnings if there are any.
I do not give anyone permission to copy or translate any of my works. Likes and reblogs are very much appreciated.
I mostly write for character's that use she/her pronouns, however I try to keep the reader as gender neutral as I can unless it's an original character.
Most of my one-shots will not have a name used. However they might have certain nicknames depending on the love interest. If I give a name it'll be Y/N, and if it's an original character that'll be clear when posting the story.
If you are requesting, a form (which will be listed below) is optional when requesting depending on what you're resting. Just make sure to include a good amount of information when you request, because it'll be easier for me to further expand on the idea.
Lastly, any request is welcome, it can included fluff, angst, smut, or dark themes. Please keep in mind that there are certain themes that I don't know how to write so I will either try my best to write them or I won't write them at all.

My Love Will Never Die Masterlist
Snow and ice crusted the earth below. But it didnât matter to me, I stood tall in the snow covered trees. My dirty-blonde hair was pulled back and braided so it would be out of my way. I jumped from tree to tree, Feyre was always jealous of the fact that I had an easy time hiding in the trees. I had always felt this heavy weight on my back, and because of it I had learned to balance myself especially in trees.
They became my friends. Odd, I know, but totally worth it when weâd go out hunting. Thatâs what my cousin and I had been doing, hunting for food in this brisk winter. I could feel the cold running along my skin. I had been living with the Archeron sisters since shortly before they had to leave the luxurious home behind and move into a smaller home. I didnât understand why my parents had dropped me off with my cousins, all I know is theyâre hiding something from me. One day Iâll figure it out. But today Iâm hunting in the woods.
Feyre and I had separated from each other hours ago. Weâd hoped that by doing so weâd gain more distance to find something to eat. But so far I had no such luck, I was secretly hoping that Feyre had gained the luck today. Feyre and I had started to go out into the woods to hunt for food when we were fourteen. Her reasoning was a promise sheâd made to her mother, mine was mostly because I didnât like to be alone with Nesta and Elain when Feyre wasnât there.
Our relationship was strained. Nesta hated me, I donât know why. I guess she blames me for moving in, because soon after they could no longer afford anything. Iâm not sure honestly, she doesnât ever give me an answer whenever I question her, whenever I ask her the same question. She just lets it fuss out like it's nothing important and honestly Iâve given up trying to figure out why she hates me. Feyre and I are now nineteen, itâs crazy, I know but what more can I do in this life.
Most of the things I know how to do I managed to teach myself, reading is one of those things. Iâm not as skilled in reading but I can get by somewhat. Itâs not important right now anyway. Iâve tried to help Feyre but I donât really know what Iâm doing. Feyre has become my best friend, sheâs more of a sister than a cousin. And I so badly wished to have had that sibling connection with her that Nesta and Elain have with her but seem to not care much about.
I shake my head, easily getting lost in my thoughts these days when Iâm alone in the woods. I gripped the bark tightly, small scratches littered my palms. I tend to get my hands cut a lot when Iâd climb up into the trees. Feyre always had something to say about it and I know sheâll most likely say something about it when she sees my hands. Sometimes I like to feel pain, and the only healthy way is to climb trees. I adjust myself trying to ignore the heavy weight on my back.
I knew at this point without having any luck it was time to call quits and head home. I was hoping that Feyre had already made it back to the small house. I lunge off the branch I was hanging out on, I grip onto the next branch holding it tightly as I swing back and forth. The slight pain in my hands is evident. Finally Iâm able to let go of the branch and land on the icy ground. The ice crunches beneath my boot covered feet.
I pull my dagger from my holster, itâs not much but itâs kept me safe over the years since Iâve started hunting. I lower myself into a crouching position and release a breath. My breath mixes with the cold air causing it to turn into a mist. Just to be safe I always stay low to the ground to make sure Iâm not caught as I walk back home to the house where Nesta, Elain and my Uncle are. All of whom probably arenât doing anything.
An hour later I had given up on the crouching, but Iâd made it home. The dagger is back in the sheath. I donât need Nesta and Elain to know I have it. One day Iâd found it near the border that separates us from the Faeries, it was calling to me. Odd. It was so odd that a dagger was calling my name. But I found it and since then it has been with me. Finally reaching the door I pushed it open and walked inside.
A soft grunt leaves my throat as I enter the house. The house had a small amount of warmth, I could feel it but it was barely there. Not that I mind, I preferred the cold anyway. At least thatâs what I tell myself. My ocean blue eyes land on my Uncle and cousins all of whom are close to each other.
âWhereâs Feyre?â Nesta questioned, not bothering to give me another glance.
âLike you care.â I mumbled the words as I removed my cloak from my body. It didnât do much to keep me warm during the winter but it was better than nothing. âSheâs probably still hunting, I didn;t have any luck but Iâm hoping that Feyre found something.â I said that loud enough that all three could hear me. Nesta didnât budge, nor did Elain. I walked past them making my way into our small shared room. Sometimes I wish I could sleep on the floor in the winter. I hate sharing a room with my cousins. Feyre not so much because she didnât hate me.
I closed the door behind me once I was in the room. I needed to change into warmer, dry clothes. I tracked towards the dresser and kneeled down to stare at the painting Feyre had drawn on my drawer. I had the same recording dream, it was always blurry so I couldnât make out much. But I got enough from the dream. I had asked Feyre one day to paint hazel and amber eyes, mixed with bat wings, shadows and flames. I could never really understand why I had seen those images so constantly in my dreams but I wanted to be able to see them no matter the time of day.
Feyre had even questioned me about it when she was painting it, but I just didnât know how to answer it other than the fact that I had seen everything when I was asleep. I didnât know who the eyes belonged to but I knew one day that Iâd figure it out eventually. I knew whomever the eyes belonged to they would most likely be important to me. After pulling on a warm set of clothes I heard the front door open, followed by Feyreâs voice and shortly after Nestaâs voice.
âWhere did you get that?â Nesta had asked, as I rejoined them. I glanced over at Feyre as she looked at me. Over the years Feyre and I had developed a secret sort of communication and were able to talk with each other via expressions. Feyre was asking for my help without actually saying something. I moved from my spot walking over to her.
âWhere do you think I got it?â Feyre questioned back, her voice hoarse.
I looked over at Nesta and my Uncle, they were by the hearth warming their hands. I had noticed Elain but gave her no mind just like she did to me. I watched closely as Feyre removed a wolf pelt from the doe she had collected. Then she turned and took her boots off placing them by the door. Feyre turned back towards Elain and myself, she glanced at her second oldest sister before her eyes fell onto me.
âWill it take you long to clean it?â Elain had asked simply.
I took note of the question, it was directed towards me and Feyre. We were the only ones who truly knew how to clean an animal. It wasnât a hard task to learn, all things considered. I released a huff and glided towards the doe. I paid no mind to the conversation going on currently. At some point Feyre had joined me and we began working together.
âAre you going to come with us to the market tomorrow?â I lifted my eyes at the question Feyre had asked. Then briefly I looked over at Nesta and Elain.
âI think Iâll stay here if thatâs all right.â For some reason my voice was soft as I answered Feyreâs question. Feyre only gave a nod and the conversation dropped there. Eventually night fell and we were stuffed in the bed. I was exhausted from todayâs adventure and ready for bed.
âž
I had spent most of the day with my Uncle though he hadnât made much of an effort to talk to me. So I ended up in the trees. When I didnât want to talk to anyone this is where Iâd come. Iâd pick a tree, climb it and sit on the branch. Sometimes Iâd stay resting on the tree well past sunset to watch the stars shine brightly in the sky. This was my safe heaven and I didnât know what Iâd do without this. Feyre stood down below staring up at me.
âCome on, foodâs ready.â She said my cousin was never happy that I could climb the trees. She also didnât understand why I did it. In a sense I guess I needed to be closer to the stars or the sun or maybe the clouds. I never really knew, it was always a guessing game with my feelings. âWhen will you stop climbing into trees?â
I shrugged my shoulders, attempting to move the weight on my back. It always felt like something was dragging against the ground. I didnât understand it, I had hoped to one day reunite with my parents and ask them why it felt that way on my back. I hadnât seen them since they dropped me off at my cousins, so I guess I would never really get my answers. I looked back at Feyre realizing that she was still waiting for me to answer her question, the one I hadnât answered yet.
âNever. Itâs my safe haven away from Nesta, Elain and Uncle.â I finally answered the question as Feyre and I started walking back towards the home.
âJust donât hurt yourself. I canât lose my best friend.â Feyre looked at me. Her blue-green eyes blazing brightly. We entered the house, finally we were all sitting down and eating the deer. I wasnât in the mood to listen to whatever conversation they were having. I would take small bites of my food to savor it, and in between Iâd play with it until I decided to take another bite. A roar so loud I had to cover my ears brought me out of my thoughts.
Hesitantly I reached for my dagger, but didnât make a move to pull it out of its sheath. Nesta and Elain were screaming, snow burst into the room we were in as the door opened and a growling figure appeared in our line of sight. I was so confused as to what was going on but finally I pulled the dagger out of my hands and moved in front of Nesta and Elain. The dagger was in front of me as I looked up at the beast. My heartbeat was beating so fast, I couldnât seem to calm it down.
âMURDERERS!â Its voice was rough as it looked around the room. My breath caught in my throat as I glanced over at Feyre. We both knew what this was. Faerie. I couldnât believe there was a Fae in our home. Who was it and what did they want? Those were the only questions that seemed to be running through my mind. âMURDERERS!â It roared again.
âP-please,â I could hear my Uncleâs voice from somewhere in the room. I couldnât look away from the beast to figure out where his voice was coming from. âWhatever we have done, we did so unknowingly, andââ
âW-w-we didnât kill anyone.â Nesta added, choking on the sobs that left her lips. I briefly pulled my eyes away from the beast and saw her holding the iron bracket over her head. I guess she hoped it would protect her from the monster at our front door.
âGet out,â Feyre snapped at the beast, she held a dinner knife in front of her. I shifted slightly and caught the eyes of the beast. It looked at me, then it seemed to halt its movements. It sensed something on me, I could tell. âGet out, and begone.â Feyre added. His roar was so loud it shook the entire cottage along with everything in it. Before I had a chance to speak I watched Feyre hurl her hunting knife at the beast. But he was able to block it before it made contact with his skin.
Feyre stumbled backwards almost knocking into her father. I stepped forward slightly, the faerie had almost killed my cousin. I had almost lost her. The eyes of the monster landed on me, he looked at me differently then he had looked at Feyre. I straightened my back slightly, moving my shoulders to adjust the weight on my back. It was almost like he could sense that something was different about me. That I was different from my cousins. But as far as I was aware whatever was different about me he couldnât see it. At least thatâs what I hoped.
âWHO KILLED HIM?â He roared out, pulling his eyes away from me to look around at the rest of my family. He stalked towards us, he set his paw on the table, his claws scratched into the table one by one. I shuddered at the thought of what those claws could do.
âKilled who?â Feyre was quick to ask the question.
He growled out, his voice was low, âthe wolf.â I looked to my cousin as her eyes fell to mine. I hadnât been with her but she had in fact killed that wolf. At this moment I wish I had been with her. Maybe I should tell the creature that I was the one who had killed the wolf, but I knew Feyre wouldnât let me do that.
âA wolf?â Elain released a shriek, I had to stop myself from covering my ears when I heard it.
âA large wolf with a gray coat,â he snarled at us.
âIf it was mistakenly killed,â Feyre said to the beast, her voice calm. âWhat payment could we offer in exchange?â I closed my eyes dreading what this creature might want in return.
âThe payment you must offer is the one demanded by the Treaty between our realms.â
âFor a wolf?â I asked, tilting my head. This was so confusing.
âWho killed the wolf?â His eyes whirled around the room staring at each of us. I moved my shoulders, stepping forward however Feyre beat me to it.
âI did.â She said.
âSurely you lie to save them, to save her.â He said pointing at me with his clawed finger. I gulped, I feared that he might try and take me instead of Feyre. This wasnât happening, this had to be a dream. I need to wake up now, I go to pinch myself only it hurts. This is real.
âWe didnât kill anything!â Elain cried. âPlease⌠please, spare us!â Nesta hushed Elain, though she did it through her own crying. I couldnât bring myself to cry like they were. I guess because I had been hunting for a while with Feyre. Suddenly my Uncle was standing from where heâd been sitting, grunting in pain.
âI killed it!â Feyre said, I watched as the beast pulled his eyes away from Nesta and Elain to look at her. âI sold its hide at the market today. If I had known it was a faerie, I wouldnât have touched it.â I knew that was a lie.
âLiar.â So did he, apparently. âYou knew. You would have been more tempted to slaughter it had you known it was one of my kind.â
âCan you blame me?â
âDid it attack you? Were you provoked?â
I looked over at my cousin waiting for her to say yes, to say something other than the word that was uttered from her mouth, âNo,â she said, with a snarl of her own. âBut considering all that your kind has done to us, considering what your kind still likes to do to us, even if I had known beyond a doubt, it was deserved.â
He released a growl to Feyreâs answer. I could feel the rage coming from the creature. I think we all could. I didnât like where this was heading and I knew where this was heading. I didnât want it to be the case. I canât lose Feyre, sheâs all I have. Sure the others are here but they donât really care for me, Iâm just an extra mouth that my parents forced them to take care of because they couldnât handle whatever was wrong with me.
âWhat is the payment the Treaty requires?â
He continued to stare at Feyre as he talked to her, âA life for a life. Any unprovoked attacks on faerie-kind by humans are to be paid only by a human life in exchange.â Nesta and Elain stopped crying at the admission.
âI didnât know.â Feyre said. âDidnât know about that part of the Treaty.â
I couldnât think of a way out of this, of a way to keep Feyre here with us. âMost of you mortals have chosen to forget that part of the Treaty,â he said, âwhich makes punishing you far more enjoyable.â
The panic inside me was flickering, I couldnât lose her. He was going to take her away. I would never see the only person who understood me ever again.
âDo it outside,â Feyre whispered, her voice trembling. I wanted to cry for the first time in what felt like forever. But I still couldnât bring myself to not yet anyway. âNot⌠here.â
âWilling to accept your fate so easily?â He asked. âFor having the nerve to request where I slaughter you, Iâll let you in on a secret, human: Prythian must claim your life in some way, for the life you took from it. So as a representative of the immortal realm, I can either gut you like swine, or⌠you can cross the wal and live our the remainder of your days in Prythian.â
âWhat?â Feyre asked.
âPlease.â I begged, no matter how hard I was trying to hold back my tears they had started to fall down my face. âPlease donât take her away from me. I canât lose her.â I broke, as the words exited my mouth. My knees trembled and I quickly dropped to the ground staring at the beast.
âYou can either die tonight or offer your life to Prythian by living in it forever, forsaking the human realm.â
I was shaking my head looking at my cousin. âDo it, Feyre,â my Uncle whispered from behind Feyre. âGo.â
âNo. Please.â I cried out again.
âLive where? Every inch of Prythian is lethal to us.â She does have a point. âWhy bother?â
âYou murdered my friend,â he snarled at her. âMurdered him, skinned his corpse, sold it at the market, and then said he deserved it, and yet you have the nerve to question my generosity?â
Feyre stepped forward. âYou didnât need to mention the loophole.â
He released another snarl. âFoolish of me to forget that humans have such low opinions of us. Do you humans no longer understand mercy?â Heâs so close to Feyre now. âLet me make this clear for you, girl: you can either come live at my home in Prythianâoffer your life for the wolfâs in that wayâor you can walk outside right now and be shredded to ribbons. Your choice.â
âPlease, good sireâFeyre is my youngest. I beseech you to spare her. She is all⌠she is allâŚâ His words seemed to die in his throat as he talked. âPleaseââ
âSilence.â
âI can get goldââ He tried to come up with a compromise, and I hoped that the beast would allow it over taking Feyre away.
âHow much is your daughterâs life worth to you? Do you think it equates to a sum?â He questioned. Nothing came out to answer the question, the silence was deafening as Feyre stepped forward. She looked back at me, like she was sending her apology to me. I knew what it meant, she was leaving to protect all of us. And to honor the Treaty he was talking about.
âWhen do we go?â Feyre asked, I started shaking my head. I couldnât breath, this was happening too fast for my liking.
âNow.â
I couldnât hear anything after that. It was all silent. I wanted this to be a dream more than anything right now. I wish it were. I really do wish I could just wake up from this. I felt myself begging the creature over and over, asking to go with them. But Feyre turned it down before I even had a chance. I felt her arms around me as she said goodbye. But I still couldnât process anything. Before I knew it she was gone, taken just like that.
I wouldnât have my best friend with me anymore. Iâd live a life without her and that broke me. I crumpled to the floor and cried out silently. I received no comfort from any of them the rest of the night. I just stayed on the floor until I eventually cried myself to sleep, hoping for a better future. Maybe Iâd get a better future now. I just had to remain strong and not let my thoughts consume me. But that was a difficult challenge.

Prologue
Things had changed a lot since I had joined the Spring Court. I had found a safe home. After the first five years Lucien and I started seeing each other secretly. One evening Lucien had returned from a trip to the borders and we werenât able to make it back to my bedroom. Tamlin had caught us red handed. Lucien and I had laughed about it but Iâm pretty certain we had scared the male.
Since then he hasnât really said anything to us about our relationship but I donât think he really cared. Today Tamlin would be leaving to hunt down the human girl that had surely killed Andras. Heâd been sent out to hopefully find a human that would break the curse on Tamlin, and Lucien and the rest of his Court. Maybe sheâd even be the one to save us all. The sun was shining into the room that Lucien and I shared.
His golden-brown arms were wrapped around my waist. My back to his chest. It was a nice feeling, to feel his warm skin against mine. This was the happiest I have ever felt in my entire life. Lucien was still asleep, when I looked back at him there was a peaceful content look on his face. I wish more than anything that I could see the entirety of his face. That damned masked block most of his face, and I wish more than anything to see that scar.
He had told me how it had happened, after I shared something with him. I had a scar from my mother on my back, on my right shoulder. Heâd seen it one night, well heâd seen all of them. But he chose to ask about that one. I told him what had happened. What my mother and father had done to me when I didnât follow their orders. I was crying by the end of it. So Lucien told me about how he had gotten the scar on his eye, and how the mechanical eye had replaced his once russet eye.
More than anything I had wished that night to murder Amarantha for what sheâd done to him. I shake the thoughts away, slowly and gently I turn around in Lucienâs grip. Then I start placing soft kisses on his neck, and eventually his chest hoping heâd wake up. A smirk graced my lips when I heard a groan release from his mouth, heâs awake now. I love mornings like these, where itâs just the two of us.
âWhat are you doing, my starlight?â He had started calling me that when he discovered the shield I had created to protect myself. I hadnât meant to let any of my other powers slip out but that one I couldnât control at the moment. Tamlin had also seen it. Shortly after that I had shared with them both what I could do, including summoning the wings. Which I now knew to belong to Illyrians.
I had seen the look they had exchanged when they saw my wings for the first time. When I demanded to know what they were keeping from me they refused. To this day I still donât understand the look of shock and confusion I saw on their faces, I donât understand why I saw the realization afterwards. Their expressions didnât make sense, and the one time I wanted to hear their thoughts, I got nothing. Somehow they were able to keep their thoughts at bay.
âIâm not doing anything.â I say, the humor is there in my voice as I continue to kiss his chest.
I donât get a chance to make it very far though. He removes his arms from around my waist, but in the process he flips us over so heâs on top of me. I can feel him between my thighs, his cock already hard. Lucien leans closer to me, and his lips find purchase on mine. His kiss was so passionate. I loved when he was like this. I kissed him back softly. Lucien leaned down closer to me, his chest on top of mine.
He pulled his lips away from mine, but he continued to place kisses on my face. Giggles left my mouth. Lucien pulled away from me, his hands reached for the night gown that I was in and he started to pull it up my body. I lifted my arms allowing him access to take the gown off. Then he pulled his clothes off and leaned back down on top of me. I could feel all of him as I stared into his russet and gold eyes. He was so beautiful, and I was so lucky to be here with him at this moment.
âââââ â â â âąęĽâ° â ⸠â âââââ
Tamlin had been gone for a few days, I had spent most of my time with Lucien. Some of it is definitely between the sheets in our room. The other time we were out riding the horses. Lucien and I were heading back to the estate. I was so exhausted and ready to crash in my bed. I walked with Lucien, we headed into the mansion. The male held onto my hand as he searched for Tamlin who had most likely returned, hopefully with a human girl that would break their curse.
When we entered the room, I noticed the human girl. My grip on Lucienâs hand tightened; he took notice of this. The girl's thoughts were running around my mind, she was curious as to why I didnât have a mask, while Tamlin and Lucien did. Finally Lucien was the first to break the silence between us.
âWell?â Lucien questioned. We walked over to Tamlin, both of us bowing down to him. Lucien had not looked at the human once since we walked into the room.
âWhat, what?â Tamlin inquired back, cocking his head. I didnât like when he acted this way. There were some instances where Tamlin had scared me. So much so that I wouldnât leave my room if Lucien were out at the borders.
âIs Andras dead, then?â
Tamlin sent Lucien a nod, my heart broke. âIâm sorry.â He says quietly. Lucien let go of my hand. I looked down to see him squeeze his hands closed, his knuckles turning white.
âHow?â Lucien demanded. I stepped closer towards my lover, placing a hand on his shoulder and squeezing it.
âAn ash arrow.â A hiss released from Lucien. I closed my eyes looking away from the two males. âThe Treatyâs summons led me to the mortal. I gave her safe haven.â
âWhat?â I questioned, looking back at Tamlin. My eyes briefly glanced at the human, but I looked away from her and looked back at Tamlin.
âA girlâa mortal girl actually killed Andras.â I could tell that Lucien was not happy about this, venom was laced in his voice as he said it. Lucien glanced at the end of the table. I did too, but my eyes caught sight of the human. She was so short compared to us. âAnd the summons found the girl responsible.â
âHow? How is that possible?â I asked, turning back towards Tamlin.
A bitter laugh left his mouth, he lifted a finger to point at the human. âThe Treatyâs magic brought me right to her doorstep.â
Lucien turned away from Tamlin to look at her. She was taking in everything that Lucien had to offer. I wanted to be jealous of it, but I couldnât. Something inside me was telling me not to, it was confusing if I was being honest.
âYouâre joking,â Lucien said quietly. âThat scrawny thing brought down Andras with a single ash arrow?â
I swatted my hand into Lucienâs shoulder, he turned briefly to glare at me. I had to hide the smile that rushed to my face. But I couldnât hide the heat running to my cheeks. âBe nice.â I whispered. However I heard her thinking about how she wanted another ash arrow to shoot into Lucien. This earned a glare from me, as I looked at the human. She noticed it too and recoiled closer to the wall.
âShe admitted to it,â Tamlin explained as he traced a finger on his goblet. I watched the claw slip out scraping against the metal. A groan escaped my lips. Tamlin and Lucien both looked at me for a brief moment.
âIâm fine.â I whispered.
âShe didnât try to deny it.â Tamlin added, after I had spoken. Lucien walked away from me, he sat on the table at the very end. I followed behind him, only I sat down in the chair. I reached for his hand, hoping for comfort.
âWell,â Lucien seethed, ânow weâre stuck with that, thanks to your useless mercy, and youâve ruinedââ I looked away from Lucien watching the girl take one step forward.
âDid you enjoy killing my friend, human?â Lucien asked. âDid you hesitate, or was the hatred in your heart riding you too hard to consider sparing him? It must have been so satisfying for a small mortal thing like you to take him down.â
I understood that Lucien was upset over the loss of his friend, but I didnât like seeing him like this. He was so sad, and I wanted to do something about it, but just like the jealousy I wanted to feel earlier I couldnât be upset over the way he was feeling.
âAnyway,â Lucien continued, turning towards Tamlin again. âPerhaps thereâs a way toââ
âLucien,â Tamlin spoke quietly, I glanced at the High Lord hearing the snarl bounce around the room. âBehave.â I felt Lucien go stiff, my violet eyes lifted to him. He hopped off the table letting go of my hand and walking towards the other end of the table, bowing to the human.
âMy apologies, lady. Iâm Lucien. Courtier and emissary.â I stood from the chair, shifting my body towards the two. âYour eyes are like stars, and your hair like burnished gold.â I came up next to him, I forced a smile to my lips only because I was ready to go to bed now. Hopefully I could convince my lover to come with me. It was a slim chance though.
âIâm Evangline, but please call me Evie.â I said, hoping to show some kind of enthusiasm. Lucien and I were now waiting for her to offer her name to us.
âHer name is Feyre.â Tamlin had his green eyes on the human. I knew one thing for sure, the High Lord was going to try and get this human to fall in love with him. From the looks of what Iâve already seen heâd have an easy chance to do so. It seemed like wherever she came from her family most likely didnât care. It looks like we have something in common. âAlis will take you to your room. You could use a bath and fresh clothes.â
Alis walked over to Feyre and guided her out of the room. âThatâs the hand the Cauldron thought to deal us? She brought Andras down? We never should have sent him out thereânone of them should have been out there. It was a foolâs mission.â Lucien growled, it was a bitter growl. âMaybe we should just take a standâmaybe itâs time to say enough. Evie could possibly put a stop to her. Dump the girl somewhere, kill her, I donât careâsheâs nothing but a burden here. Sheâd sooner put a knife in your back than talk to youâor any of us.â Lucien explained.
âI canât do that. I-I wonât do that, Lu.â I whispered, I wanted to look at him but my eyes were on Tamlin instead. Even though I still had a feeling I shouldnât trust him, I knew that heâd protect me from her. I noticed how quickly Lucien changed his posture when he realized the words that had slipped from his mouth. He walked over to me and placed his hand on my cheek, his thumb grazed it.
âNo. I am not putting Evie in danger.â Tamlinâs voice ran through our ears, we both looked at him. âAnd not until we know for certain that there is no other way will we make a move. And as for the girl, she stays. Unharmed. End of discussion. Her life in that hovel was Hell enough.â
âThen youâve got your work cut out for you, old son," Lucien said. âIâm sure her life will be a fine replacement for Andrasâsâmaybe she can even train with the others on the border.â
Tamlin snarls at the red headed male. I move to stand in front of them. âBoth of you need to behave. You donât need Feyre hearing any of this. Lucien, while that seems like a great idea in theory, she is human and she will die out there.â
âIâm sorry, my starlight.â Lucienâs voice was soft, calm as he whispered it in my ear. He pressed himself against the backside of my body. He moved closer to me, I could already feel his length against me. I smirked, feeling arousal pull in my stomach. I knew then that our scents had shifted giving that Tamlin was glaring daggers at us.
âI think itâs best if we leave.â I said softly, smiling brightly. Lucien nodded his head, we turned around and quickly walked out of the room before I opened a portal to our shared room. Once we walked through Lucien hoisted me up into his arms. His lips attached to my skin for a brief moment. A moan left my lips, followed by a whimper when he stopped kissing me. Suddenly I was thrown on our bed, a fit of laughter left my mouth.
âYou are a naughty little thing.â Lucien said brightly as he climbed on top of me.
âMe? You're the one who pressed his hard cock to me.â I fought back, wrapping my arms around his neck.
âNaughty, naughty, my starlight.â
âOnly for you.â I whispered.
