Symbolism in the Stray Kids "ESCAPE" mv

my friend gave me a list of them to watch and I like finding and ranting about symbolism

Hyunjin being the shopping cart and looking at the chain is resembling being stuck with bad habits and with the lyrics supporting it in the back is so good.

And the way they walk as if they were being weighed down by pressure (or I may say sin)

Then Hyunjin having the chains on him again showing he's trapped under sin

Bang Chan gripping at the fence trying to escape along with biting the chain is definitely a symbol of trying to break the sin

With the lyrics being exchange the pain for love is definitely a line toward people being addicted to things

With Bang Chan & Hyunjin fighting over the presumed "drug" in this case is with the chorus of (run, run, run) is them running for the high of the drug

The line talking about a place that nobody knows is underlining the high only the user gets from the sin/drug

The chains and shackles referred to by the song is underlining the drug/sin again and pointing out that the user can always take them off they just have to choice it

Bang Chan looking at the knife while the line thrill adventure is a gesture to him going back to the sin

Escaping from reality is the main reason why people do sin aka their addiction/drug

The line of saying "I can't let you go" is showing how hard it is to bounce back from being addicted to something

"All hell's breaking lose" is a gesture toward the addiction not giving the same high as before

At the end where Bang Chan & Hyunjin are holding hands is in my opinion a symbol of them finding the help each other to break free from their addictions
