The "transmisogyny/phobia affects cis women too" was an important thing to note when discussing how transphobia seeps into fucking everything and how terf ideology is a bullshit weapon that often fails to fit even cis women. But now cis women are using it to act like transphobia affects them more, actually and thats why you should care. They didnt care until it started affecting us. Like why do i see more posts about how cis women will be negatively affected by trans bans than actual trans women. I just think that's interesting.

Hi all!

My roommate and I decided to go separate ways due to rough financial situations. We thought our lease ended on May 15th, but unfortunately we were a whole month and a day off- our lease ends June 16th. Per our lease, we are responsible for the extra rent even though we've vacated the premise. My former roommate had to quit his job because it wasn't a remote position, so he has no income to help. I'm still employed but I had to take out a payday loan just to keep us caught up and make sure we had enough money for the move- so I'm severely strapped for cash until that's paid off next year.

The rent for the month is 1750, and the next month is likely going to be around 880.Additionally, we had to leave some items behind due to time and lack of storage space (couches and a desk). This normally wouldn't be a problem if we had a security deposit to lean on, but we got into our old apartment on a special deal that only leaves 99 dollars for the deposit that our landlord can use to clean up- so we're going to be charged extra. In total, I'm estimating a need of 3000 at the max.

The thing is you can have a grassy lawn or even a golf course without it being an ecological disaster, you just have to a: be cool about having the occasional non-grass plant in the mix and b: be willing to live in a climate that supports grass without irrigation.

I always thought that golf as a sport should be adapted to the local native landscape. I think this will encourage regional pride when local golfers completely trounce visitors at Swamp Golf, Desert Golf, Forest Golf, etc. Rich tourists will be pressured to travel extensively to experience all forms of golf, instead of staying in their backyard country club golf courses. Internet discourse will probably somehow get worse but I think this is a small price to pay.

Hi, me again. Im embarassed to make this post but unfortunately we're dealing with bed bugs and i found a bite on my foot after getting up to use the bathroom. We could use some help getting a mattress cover for our bed (the one we have isnt zippered + its ripping) and for taking clothes and bedding to the nearest laundry mat to get everything clean and dried all in one go.

Overall the goal is $100 . That way we can get the mattress cover, use the big washer 3x and for drying everything in the dryers there
