@muslima-salam
I changed my blog to @muslimasalam
“As for using music as a remedy, there is no basis for this, rather it is the work of fools. Music is not a remedy, but it is a disease.”
[Majmoo’ Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn Baaz (9/429)]
You are Muslim. Stop saying “God”. Call him what he commanded you call him, Allah.
Thinking of my beloved friend Nur Izza (mansionsofthestars), who passed away from cancer a few years ago, on this beautiful Ramadān. May Allāh have mercy upon dear Nur Izza, may He fragrance her grave, and grant her a place in the highest of Jannah, Ameen. Please keep her in your supplications.
She was truly a lovely sister with a vibrant personality, and I ask Allāh ﷻ to unite us in the gardens of Paradise. 💕
A Widespread Weak Du'ā For Ifṭār
As Ramaḍān is approaching there is something that I would like to bring to attention is the Du'ā at the time of Ifṭār (breaking fast) which is common and widespread amongst people,
🚫 “Allaahuma Laka Ṣumtu Wa ‘Alaa Rizqika Afṭartu” (O Allāh I fasted for you and I broke it upon which you’ve provided me with) 🚫
This Du'ā has been declared weak by Muḥaddithīn such as Ibn Ḥajar, an-Nawawī, adh-Dhahabī, Ibn al-Qayyim, ash-Shawkānee, al-Albānī and other than them,
As for the correct Du'ā for Ifṭār it is as follows:
✔ Dhahab aẓ-Ẓama`u Wabtallatil ‘Urooq Wa Thabat al-Ajru In Shaa Allaah (The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened and the reward is confirmed, if Allāh wills) ✔ ⬅ • [Reported by Abū Dāwūd, an-Nasā`ī, al-Bazzār, al-Ḥākim, al-Bayhaqī and others]

والله أعلم بالصواب And Allāh knows best
Please take note, BārakAllāhu Feekum.
Ramadhan mubarak <3
Narrated ‘Āishah (radīAllāhu ‘anha): “The Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said, “The word 'Ar-Rahm’ (womb) derives its name from 'Ar-Rahmān’ (i.e. Allāh). So whosoever keeps good relations with it (womb i.e. Kith and kin), Allāh will keep good relations with him, and whosoever will sever it (i.e. severs his bonds of Kith and kin) Allāh too will sever His relations with him.”
[Sahīh al-Bukhārī Vol. 8, no. 18. Translated by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khān]
Ramadhaan Printables - Download Here (from Google Drive)
- Qur’aan Tracker: Actual printable is filled in with the chapters. Tick off the completed chapters as well as reading the translation.
- Fast Tracker: Keep note of completed fasts, more importantly those that were missed due to menstruation or illness etc.
- Habit Tracker: Make a list of tasks/habits you wish to complete and implement them over the 30 days of Ramadhaan e.g. Salatul Duha, clean-up after iftaar/dinner, read morning/evening adhkar etc.
- Meal Tracker: Keep a log of food & water intake throughout the week (especially helpful for those who struggle with timetabled eating).
- Calendar: Several variations of calendars are available. Salah tracker and tick boxes to record fasts.
- Monthly Goals: An alternative to the habit tracker allowing individuals to make note of one-off goals, as opposed to repetitive tasks.
May Allah allow these to be of benefit. Do notify me of any errors and I will rectify them, inshaa’Allaah.
