Weight loss spell
You will need:
- a piece of paper and a pen
- rice grains
- a bay leaf
- a red candle
What to do:
Cast a magic circle if you like. Light the candle and focus on your goal. Then draw a circle on the piece of paper and in it write words that represent your goal ( e.g. weight loss, vitality, health, endurance, motivation, âŚ) . Use one grain of rice for each word you write. Put the rice and the laurel inside the drawn circle and fold the paper so you have a small paper bag and the rice and laurel donât fall out. Then burn the package with the candle. Speak:
âSacred fire, I pray to thee, make these wishes come to meâ
Repeat until the paper has burned completely. Blow out the candle.

Brain fog lifting
Little witchy ways to help with brain fog (UPG). Brain fog is basically when you struggle with mental clarity, memory, focus, low energy, grumpiness, and the like. Itâs often associated with chronic or mental illness. Itâs no fun!
Using Crystals:
Pick a clear crystal, like quartz. Hold it to your temples/forehead and let it draw out the fog. Picture the fog being pulled from your head and swirling into the crystal, and the coldness of the crystal bringing clarity to your mind. (You can also do this by touching a crystal in your pocket if youâre in public!)
Using Water:
Dip your fingers in snow/moon water (tap water will do if needed) and touch any points on your face that you feel like the fog is affecting it (if that makes sense?!) I like to do: a drop on my chin, a drop on each cheekbone, one on my forehead and on both temples, and on my eyelids as well. With each drop, say a word you would like to bring back (clarity, focus, understanding, comprehension, memory, retrieval, ~ability to see~).
Using Air:
Get fresh air (even through a cracked window) and breathe deeply for one minute. Envision it swirling in your mind and clearing away any muckiness.Â
Using Sigils:
Find sigils for brain fog, clarity, memory, etc. and draw them in a place that you feel connects to your mind. For me, itâs my pulse points on my inner wrist (since drawing sigils on your face can be a hassle!
Non-witchy advice:
(Aka boring âhave you thought about changing your entire lifestyle?â stuffs)
Evaluate your diet, and consider if there may be any foods influencing it. Have you been tested for food allergies? Itâs worth considering!
It can be influenced by other physical or mental factors, and is worth talking to a doctor aboutâespecially if itâs unexplained or a new symptom.
Try to do light exercise at least once a day. For me this involves a little extra walking on campus, or some stretches in the morning.
Less sugary drinks, more water.Â
Give yourself at least 10-30 minutes before bed to wind down/think about the day/de-stress - even if it means you go to bed a little bit later. It can help sleep if youâre really busy and stressed.
Get a planner/make a to-do list.Â
Getting up at the first alarm is better for your clarity than hitting snooze six times (but I am guilty of the latter).Â

Ways to enhance your intuition
Exercises:
These exercises can be done in two ways. You can either pick one paper up and try to guess what is on the paper, or you can think of a paper and try to find it in the pieces of paper. If you feel you need more pieces of paper by all means add more. If you work with deities, your higher self, spirits of any sorts, please feel free to invite them to help you with these exercises, if youâd like.
The number exercise: cut four, same sized pieces of paper with the numbers 1-4 written on them. Turn them downwards and mix them up. Pick one up and try to guess which number it is.
The shape exercise: cut four, same sized pieces of paper, and draw a star, a heart, a circle and a cube on them. Turn them downwards and mix them up. Pick one up and try to guess which shape it is.
The color exercise: cut four, same size pieces of paper, and add a different color to all of them. Turn them downwards and mix them up. Try to guess which paper has which color on them.
The quiz exercise: find a quiz online that you know nothing about - this may be a science quiz, a pop culture quiz, a quiz about a band, or the Viking history quiz. Take the quiz and try to guess the answers.
The object exercise: Get a older object, works best if itâs given by a friend do you and examine it. Try to pick up the objects energies and try to see/hear/smell the person that the object is tied to. Itâs best done with a friend because they will most likely know some information about the person and they can tell if youâre right or wrong.
The card exercise: Pick one card up from a deck and try to see the color, the shape and the number of that card. You can also do this with tarot cards, try to feel the cards energies.
Divination: itâs a great exercise for enhancing your psychic abilities and the range of tools you can do divination with is enormous. So, find the one that calls to you and start divining.Â
In my experience these are the main exercises which you can sit and work on but theyâre not the only ones. Intuition can be worked on throughout the day even in the most mundane tasks:
Try to guess who texted you or is calling you before you pick up the phone.
If other people cook for you, try to guess what youâre having for lunch before seeing it.
Try to pick up what your friend is going to tell you before they do.
Try to guess when the light is going to turn green at a traffic light.
Think of a person, and try seeing what theyâre doing at the moment. After youâre done, ask them whatsup.
When talking to a friend on the phone try to see what theyâre wearing, what their hair is like, and/or what theyâre doing and ask them.
When you get up try to sense what the weather is going to be like today.
When at the store and youâre waiting in line try to sense how much the person before you needs to pay.
Tell a friend to think of a number and try to guess that number.
When listening to music on shuffle, try to sense what the next song is going to be.
When people close to you talk on the phone try and sense who theyâre talking to and ask them afterwards. (only if theyâre comfortable with it, not all people would like their privacy invaded, my friends and family know why Iâm doing that so theyâre cool with it)
Try to sense what a close friends text is saying before you open it, or try to sense why theyâre calling you.
These are all I can think of a t the moment, hopefully in the future Iâm going to add more. Basically anytime, anywhere when you have some space left to guess whatâs going to happen, do it.
MEDITATION:Â I canât stress how important meditation is, especially to witches, mages, shamans, and all occult practitioners in general. I know it sounds boring when people tell you to meditate but we all need some time to relax and clear our heads. And in the moments of blissful relaxation we let out soul speak to us the most thus coming into our strongest potential where we can energetically change our DNA and rewire our brains. In the moment of deep relaxation you can focus on cleansing your pineal gland / increasing your intuition.Â
I like to imagine purple/indigo color and lavender flowers coming out of my pineal gland spreading and covering my whole body and aura. I also like to imagine roots stretching from my pineal gland bursting through my forehead opening an eye in the centre of it. I like to massage the centre of my forehead, and I like taping an amethyst to it lol.
There are lots of guided meditations on youtube, which are extremely helpful, and there are lots of binaural beats and isochronic tones, which are also very helpful. Just find your comfort zone to working on the pineal gland and focus on it. Donât feel bad if per say, isochronic tones donât work for you but storm sounds do work. Find your comfort zone and work within it.
Also you might want to check out Sun Gazing, which is a very powerful exercise youâre going to need to dedicate yourself to.Â
Pineal gland detoxification:Â
Avoid ingesting fluoride - I know this is hard, seeing at the people on top put fluoride in literally everything knowing what itâs doing to our brains. But there are alternatives, the internet is a huge place and you can find almost everything there. Avoid fluoridated water, fluoridated toothpaste, GMO fruits and vegetables, soda, all artificial foods and drinks. Try to eat healthy and organically and if possible reduce eating meat - and cutting it off completely.Â
Avoid sleeping with technology in your room if possible - this means wireless routers, mobile phones, computers etc. The pineal gland is suppressed by electro magnetic fields.
Avoid or if you can, completely cut off all sugar, caffeine, tobacco, alcohol and drugs.
Once youâve detoxified your body and pineal gland itâs time to start working on activating and boosting your pineal gland:
Spend time in sunlight every day - or as much as you can. Practice sungazing as well, and it is best done when the sun has risen or in the moments itâs going away because the sun is the weakest then and it canât harm your eyes and it wonât bother you.
Oils and incense -Â
Sleep and meditate in complete darkness.
Commit to meditation every day.
Dedicate rituals to your third eye - whether it be a bath ritual, once in a full moon ritual, a day of the week ritual, or whenever you feel like it ritual, do it.
Practice yoga, especially Yoga Nidra as it is the most powerful yogic practice to increase the blood flow to your pineal gland.
Eat food that boosts the pineal gland - raw cocoa, coconut oil, lemon - the bodyâs best friend, basically the master of detox, garlic, raw apple cider vinegar, goji berries, watermelon, honey, hemp seeds, iodine, vitamin K1/K2, boron, bananas, alkaine food, chlorophyll rich foods, oregano oil, sea moss, walnuts, turmeric and melatonin.
Crystals that stimulate the pineal gland - amethyst, lapis lazuli, clear quartz, moonstone, sodalite. You can meditate with these crystals on your forehead daily, you can tape a crystal on your forehead and stay like that for a while, or you can massage your forehead with it.
Chant - there are a lot of chants to boost your pineal gland, you can google some, Iâve found that OM works best for me.
Plants that enhance intuition - ginger, gotu kola, ginkgo, skullcap, elder leaf, berries and flower, fennel, lavender, lemongrass, saffron, bay leaves, rosemary, honey suckle, anise, eyebright, lotus, mimosa, sandalwood, burning acacia, cinnamon, buchu leaves, celery, lilac, mint, mugwort, solomons leaf, frankincense, jasmine, lemon, peppermint, rose, sage, vanilla and star anise.
Oils - bay laurel, carrot seed, galbanum, german chamomile, grapefruit, myrrh, nutmeg, palo santo, petitgrain, roman chamomile, sandalwood, st. johnâs wort, angelica root, eleni, juniper, frankincense, rosemary and patchouli.
Incense - ambergris, bay leaf, anise, cinnamon, frankincense, honeysuckle, jasmine, lemon, lemongrass, lotus, magnolia, peppermint, rose, sage, sandalwood, vanilla, heliotrope, basil and eucalyptus.Â
And most important of all - trust your gut! The problem with not listening to our intuition is when our rational, logical mind interferes and tries to come up with logical solutions as to why your intuition is wrong. Whenever you get that gut feeling, just go with it, donât question it. Also always remember to protect yourself when working on your pineal gland, seeing as we are more open and vulnerable to psychic attacks during these moments.
Orrrrrrrr, you know. Pay attention to the world around you. There no real wrong way going about this, but hereâs my secular take on this. I hope this doesnât come off as abrasive.
My personal form of witchcraft is non-religious. No offense is intended for people who wish to have a spiritual experience in this process. I just want to offer a non-religious view for people who are hesitant to participate in ceremonies or rituals.
In my experience, the best way to achieve âclairvoyanceâ is pure observation over time. Spend more time away from the phone. Go on walks, watch for patterns in your surroundings.
Watch how local flora and fauna react to the dusk and dawn, changing weather, etc. Listen to how your presence changes how the birds sing.
Watch movies, read books, go out to people watch. Youâll find patterns of how people react to their environment. Itâll become apparent that many life stories arenât so different. Youâll notice small details about youâre friends and family and soon enough youâll be able to deduct how theyâll respond to upcoming events.
For me, when I see posts on how to enhance peopleâs âdivinityâ or âclairvoyance,â this is what I see and maybe not everyone is comfortable doing small rituals or are super spiritual. But thereâs ways of achieving the same result without the hocus-pocus.
Witchcraft uses a lot of words you might not have heard before; hereâs a breakdown of some of the most common!

đWhat Iâve Learned About Cursesđ
As the title states, this is what Iâve learned. It is all based on my experiences, opinions, and personal knowledge. Most of it comes from my grimoire. What Is A Curse?: A curse is a type of spell a person can cast on you. It can cause misfortune, health issues, financial issues, relationship issues, even in some cases death. What About Hexes & Jinxes?: I also want to define hexes & jinxes before we get too into this. ⢠Jinxes ⢠Temporary, can last hours, are just meant to cause a bit of bad lack but nothing too serious, are for a bit of fun or to teach someone a simple lesson. ⢠Hexes ⢠Also temporary, but have greater effects, theyâre a lot more curse like in that they can teach more vital lessons and can cause things like sickness. ⢠Curses ⢠Permanent, can cause death, theyâre for the worst, nastiest people, and the most intense situations. In other words, theyâre all negative spells. Just 3 different levels of them. The main difference is curses are permanent, the others are not, and a jinx certainly wouldnât cause death or permanently effect someones well-being. Are They Okay?: I used to wonder this myself and have seen TONS of people ask it. Itâs a matter of morality. I canât tell you what to believe or think. Itâs about you and your path. How Do I Know If Iâm Cursed?: There are symptoms, Iâll go over all the ones Iâm aware of. ⢠Bad Luck/Misfortune ⢠Lack of motivation ⢠Nightmares ⢠Bad Omens ⢠Personal items going missing ⢠Plants dying ⢠Fatigue ⢠Health issues/sickness ⢠Financial issues All and any of these things can happen, they will come along suddenly and have no other explanation other than a curse. How To Test If Youâre Cursed: Okay, youâve identified youâve got some of the symptoms, you canât find any other reason or suspect someone specific has cursed you. The next step is testing to be sure. Here are my personal favorite ways to test for curses. The Egg Test: Break an egg, what you find inside will give you insight. ⢠Blood ⢠Youâre cursed ⢠⢠White clots/chunks ⢠There is no curse, but there is something clotting you or your life up ⢠⢠Broken yolk ⢠There is no curse, but you have inner turmoil and need to work on it ⢠The Oil Test: Get a bowl of water and some oil, (I used olive oil because I had it and it is what is traditionally used) drop the oil into the bowl of water. If it all clumps together, youâre cursed. Divination Test: Ask whatever forms of divination you may have if youâre cursed. Deity Test: I donât do deity work, but I also imagine itâd be an option to ask your deities if youâre cursed. What To Do Next?: Alright, so youâve looked at the symptoms, theyâre unusual for you. You did the tests, youâve come to conclusion youâre cursed. Now what? ⢠Cleansing Cleansing is one of the foundations of witchcraft, use your favorite forms of cleansing to cleanse your space. This is a default for many witchy issues or situations anyways. But itâs a good reminder. ⢠Salt bath This a method of cleansing yourself, it may get the curse off of you. It may also help if you found something unusual in your egg (that is if you did the egg test). ⢠Warding This is another thing thatâs very common and simple, but effective, ward yourself and your space to make sure nothing else thatâs bad or unwanted gets in. ⢠Deities You could ask your deities to help remove the curse or ask them what you should do about it. ⢠Other witches Ask other more experienced witches what their experiences with curses are and they they recommend, get some feedback. Posts like this are nice but so is talking to someone and hearing their experiences! Hereâs some types of spells you could use to help you! Spells: ⢠Return to sender spell ⢠Protection spell ⢠Remove curse spell (of course) Iâm sure Iâll add more to this in the future. I hope someone learned something! Enjoy! Have a lovely day (right after I just went on about curses and death for quite a while) đ
đ Unconventional Ideas to Include in a Book of Shadows â
Here are some of the more bohemian things that take up space in my Book of Shadows:
Warded Cover Page: every Book of Shadows Iâve ever owned has begun with a cover page that is warded out the ass. The style and technique of these wards has grown and evolved with my craft, but they always involved an invisibility spell tied to my name and bound with a blood taglock. The purpose is to make the book go unnoticed by everyone but me (and anyone who I allowed to read it)
The Headless Rite: a goetic invocation of your higher self/heavenly energies
Channeled Deity Artwork: Similar to spirit writing; I find that I create my best artwork when Iâve invoked a higher power, and I have currently created devotional portraits of Hekate, Lucifer, Demeter, Persephone, and several other deities by invoking the deity in question and then sketching whatever comes to me
Channeled Spirit Writing: Attuning to the energy of a spirit, ancestor, or guide and writing whatever comes to me
Magickal practices and techniques of various cultures in my heritage
Pieces of advice Iâve learned from various witches throughout the years
Manifestation Page: Similar to a mood board or an intention board; fill the page with words and pictures of your goals and desiresÂ
Deity Sigils: I do find that some deities prefer to be evoked/invoked without the use of sigils, but for those that do have their own specific sigil, I record them here
Journals of instances where I have witnessed manifestation first-hand
Encounters I have had with spirits or other supernatural phenomena
Personal associations for herbs, crystals, colors, etc., and not just the ones you can find on Google
Spell Ideas that I find particularly intricate, beautiful, or devilishly enticing, but donât quite have use for or the time to execute yet
Lists of names of my ancestors and of historical witches
Recurring symbols that appear repeatedly in dreams, tarot readings, or in the physical world
Omens that appear to me, such as wild animals or strange weather
Record of spells that Iâve performed: I long ago gave up on the pretty idea of recording every single act of witchcraft I performed in great length, detailing the position of the sun and moon, the exact procedure, and any and all outcomes. Instead, I just try to keep a bullet list of every spell I perform with a very brief description. It shouldnât take me longer than 60 seconds to write max; very useful to reference, especially if a spell goes wrong and you donât notice its negative impact until much laterÂ
Brightest blessings, and best of luck đ
â˘Creativity Spellâ˘
*Rosmary - creativity
*Bayleaf - success
*Rose - self confidence and love
*Chili Pepper Flakes - energy
*Cloves - enhancement
*Yellow Candle - to help break mental blocks
On the bayleaf, write your intention. Make it sure and sound, for example, I wrote âI Am Creativeâ. Making it more of a strong statement. Break it in your own hand and add it to the grouping. Combine these together, in this case I did not grind them up but mostly mixed them very slightly. Add it to whatever jar/satchel/container you prefer and burn your yellow candle. I am using my candle as a sealant on my jar but you can always burn it to the side or while you create your spell.
This is a spell for you, make it your own. Add something of yourself, add something that calls to you and pulls out your own creativity. This is something special that will speak specifically to you.
Love & light â¨
