Reason #4 -- 13 Reasons Why (Not) -- Must Love Garbage
When watching this show, one feels the increasing sense that the writers themselves aren’t even aware of who’s responsible for what events.
This time at which this scene took place made it definitely integral to the plot, and for some reason the show completely glossed it over. No attention is paid to the character of the teacher and how she decided to dissect an anonymous poem published without the knowledge of the author, paying no attention to the strange and sadistic joy her class seems to take in deriding a poem obviously written by an acutely disturbed peer. This lady should have gotten a fuckin tape. Instead her character and her culpability is never revisited again. Nice going, guys.
Vicarious Redemption Pg. 9 -- Must Love Garbage
13 Reasons Why (Not) #3 -- Unethical treatment of a Broadway legend
Everyone loves Brian D’arcy James except for the people who made this show. Please kill his character off in the second season so the guy can quit the role and move onto bigger and better projects.
