i think of fall and winter as giving seasons. most of the holidays are about giving in some way. giving candy, giving presents, giving flowers, giving food. i can see how they reflect periods of cultivation going into periods of reaping. if you're one of the lucky folks who had a very productive 2025, a very blessed one, i implore you to give during this season. give money, give time, give yourself. it's very human to give ❤️

I'm very lucky to be getting a gender affirming surgery soon, which my insurance will (mostly) cover, but not everyone is that fortunate. One person who really needs some assistance to afford surgery is my dear friend Ibrahim @aburakhiaibrahim ! His right eye has been damaged during the genocide, and his doctor warned him that unless he gets it operated on soon, he will lose sight in that eye.

This is obviously terrifying, because Ibrahim often can't afford food, let alone an expensive medical procedure!! To top it off, suffering under Israel's constant cruelty has led to him developing incredibly severe depression - he's talked often lately about wishing he was dead.

I'm very worried for my friend. Please, don't abandon him in his time of need. Just because there is a so-called ceasefire does not mean the people of Gaza are safe or suddenly thriving, not after so much destruction and trauma. Israel is continuing to starve them, force them to live in flimsy tents during the cold wet winter, and bomb them. Palestine is still under siege.

I'm unsure if Diala's campaign has been previously vetted, but the pictures shown in her GoFundMe and on her Tumblr showed zero reverse image search results on Tineye! Her GoFundMe is donation protected as well. If anyone has found any vetting information for Diala's fundraiser, please let us know!!

Currently $745 raised of $16,000 as of November 9th! The last donation was 1 hour ago.

If you feel comfortable doing so, please donate and share to help Diala and her family; Diala suffers from many injuries as well and needs multiple surgeries outside of Gaza! Please help, her campaign is very low on funds!!!
