I relate to TV robots because when I am given a directive, I carry it out until it is completed or I am told to stop. I don’t really have a sense that tells me “that’s good enough for now”.

This is something I’ll have to overcome before I get a Real Job, ‘cause it’s so easy to exploit. I was assigned to clean three camp bathrooms in one hour (sweeping, sanitizing, restocking, unclogging, mopping, and changing the garbage in all of them) but the first one I arrived at was TRASHED. My supervisor asked me to keep cleaning until it was done, which meant I skipped dinner and went to bed hungry ‘cause I felt obliged to complete my assignment and had entered a trancelike state.
