Encanto is one of those Disney movies that are perfect for a tv-show spinn off a la Rapunzel. There is so much left to be discovered about the family, the early years and what led to the happenings of the movie. More to learn about the miracle itself. Kinda like how we learned more about Rapunzel and her magical hair and the other characters like Eugene, her parents and mother Gothel in the show.
I mean there are so many character that could interact w/ each other in the family alone, not even counting the villagers. They all have interpersonal relationships that could be explored. We only briefly saw the way Mirabel interacts w/ her family, ant that's in crisis mode. How about before when she felt worthless compared to her family. Or how about now that everything is on the right track. There is still a lot of trauma to be explored. Abuela losing abuelo and having to raise 3 magical kids on her own. Mirabel's inferiority complex. The other grandkids dealing with the pressure put on them by abuela. And so on. We could even see how Bruno tries to reintegrate in a family that he hasn't really been part of for 10 years or trying to become part of the community that he felt ousted by and who talks bad about him behind his back.
Also Isabela NEEDS a gf. Louisa and Mirabel can date hoever they want. But I NEED Isabela to have a gf.
