Think for a minute about eating well. Think about eating the things you enjoy and the food filling up your belly and giving energy to your body. Think about doing things and learning to love them again, and think about those tasty meals that gave your body the energy to get there. You deserve to be full of good food, good energy, of love for the life you are living.
Deciding I was pretty was one of the most beneficial decisions I’d ever made.
Hate diet culture so much bitches will b like “don’t eat processed carbs they’re so bad for you” like and??? So what?? God did not give us grain and stone to grind it with for no reason. Bread is inevitable. Bread is food for the heart and the soul. U think I’m gonna give that up in pursuit of instagram fitness?? U think I’m gonna deny myself the simple pleasure of toast with jam so I can endlessly chase an ever-shifting standard of beauty that ultimately means nothing? In 20 years I will no longer be beautiful and in 60 my body will be vacant food for other, smaller creatures. But the taste of fresh bread? Of homemade donuts and still-warm pie? I will carry the taste on my tongue into whatever follows this life. So like. Stop telling me I should diet lmao. I’m not abt to martyr myself just to get a man to look at me.
Op genuinely thank you for this

What makes you think that this person is just starting?
Why can’t a larger body be seen as inspirational without implying that they’re a beginner, just starting out, or are trying to change themselves?

So you wanna rethink that rancid embarrassment of a post?
Also it’s creepy, dehumanizing and objectifying to post a fat woman’s body with her head cropped out to use as your fitspo.
people love chopping fat bodies into pieces for their thinspo/fitspo in order to further dehumanize and “other” us
we aren’t people to them; we’re decapitated before shots with a warning label slapped where our humanity should be
And you wonder why fat people don’t like gyms? This shit right here
Some people were asking me for more inclusive and positive blogs to follow so here they are!
Weight is not the indicator of health everyone hails it as, and weight loss is not the panacea everyone thinks it is. Habits of nutrition and exercise are better indicators (by that I mean exercise you can do that you enjoy, and getting enough protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals and enough water).

Thank you!
Also can we not glaze over… Even if part of someone’s fitness goal is to burn fat, we have no clue of people’s pasts! How do you know that someone who is fat in your eyes hasn’t already lost 50 pounds? Or even 200 pounds? You don’t know what they’ve done already, so don’t make assumptions based on what your own body looks like or what your own personal history is.
Reblog if your start weight was/is 200+ pounds

I lose weight and don’t gain it back

Healthy exercise habits to keep in mind 🧘🏻♀️
Running is running. It hurts, but that’s all it does. The most difficult part of the training is training your mind. You build calluses on your feet to endure the road. You build calluses on your mind to endure the pain. There’s only one way to do that. You have to get out there and run.

It’s all about that balance!!!!
Soooo update time! I’ve been working with a nutritionist since right before COVID caused everything to lock down and for the first time in 10 years (roughly) I’ve found something that’s actually making me lose weight in a healthy manner. My nutritionist is the best. She’s beyond supportive and makes a weekly meal plan for me and my boyfriend. So far, I’m down 20lbs almost single-handedly from diet alone since the end of March (little bit of exercise in the middle during lockdown, including a walked 5k virtual race) and that’s including both my and my boyfriend’s birthday (weeks) thrown in there.
As of right now, I’m trying the 2 week shred chloe ting challenge and let me tell you, this girl does NOT come to play. I’m on day 4 right now. It’s hard to do and frankly I only do about 70% of the work out properly because of my size and ability but I feel so accomplished after because it’s such a pain. On top of that, I’ve been doing at least one dance work out video after depending on how I feel as like my treat for doing the hard stuff. It’s SO motivating because I know that once I get all the tough stuff that’s actually going to tone and build muscle, I get to do fun cardio that I really really enjoy.
I’m soooo close to the 260’s. I reached there at the beginning of June, then my birthday and going back to work COMPLETELY threw me off track. But I’m 0.8lbs away right now. So I’m super hopeful ghat by my weigh-in on Friday I’ll be there! Here’s to hoping! 🤞
