High Score Girl
If your a gamer you should be watching this, just for the level of nostalgia. It’s fun, interesting and allows you to geek out while watching it. While at the same time has a coming of age, shoujo romance that’s cute, realistic and interesting to watch. Although you may be put off by the CGI that's prevelant in the style of the anime, it’s still rather good and not too hard on the eyes. Nothing can be as bad as RWBY’s first season.
Kyoto teramachi sanjou no holmes
A feel good humorous anime, with a bisexual MC. Has a Sherlock Holmes, Watson and Moriarty vibe. Good anime to pass time.
Cells at Work
Anyone remember that old movie cartoon Osmosis Jones, well think that but in anime format. This is a really great anime, for its style humour, quality and educational aspects.
It takes you on an inward perspective of the workings of our body and it’s fairly accurate there’s even a doctor on reddit that is reviewing the technicalities of each episode. Link below

I’m really enjoying this anime!
Anime that I haven’t mentioned, because I haven’t kept up with it or feel like dropping.
1. HANEBADO
Really amazing animation but not very likeable characters from my opinion. I did like the style so i’d probably get back to it on a later date.
2. Happy Sugar Life
This anime was all kinds of wrong and I’m surprised I got in as far as I did. Maybe cos I thought there was a greater reason for her actions then just being crazy, but I was wrong.
3. Harukana Receive
Amazing Oppai and great quality but no real draw besides that, the characters were rather generic. So I ended up not pushing myself to watch it unlike the others, that drew my attention.
4. Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san
The anime adaption isn’t as fluid as the manga and they’ve really just emphasised on baseless ecchi with no character introduction let alone character development. Which is a bit of a let down from the good source material, perhaps if I hadn’t known what the show could’ve been I’d be more amused.
5. Shichisei no Subaru
The premise of the anime is good and perhaps i’ll get back to it.
However, too many things bugged me. Like why haven’t they contacted the administrator in the game if your dead friends data has suddenly propped in the VR MMORPG after 6 years. Why are so many guild members after her, when you could literally lose all your saved game data if you die in the game and an ability like seeing in the future for a bit of time just doesn’t seem worth it. Then there’s the stupidity of the love triangle, which don’t get me wrong I love a bit of romantic drama. But one guys still angry about an unrequited crush he had in elementary and is taking it out on the other guy, which nobody confirmed they were dating, but she did die protecting him in the game which led to her heart attack. So I get the initial anger but they all grieved man. Then our other stupid girl who had all 6 years to make moves on her crush after the girl that was between them died, but it’s not until that girl comes back in the picture as a resurrected NPC does she get involved, and feels like she has the right to get all jealous when our MC is looking out for her. I mean she’s a scared elementary school girl trapped in a game with all her friends saying she died six years ago and everyone else besides the MC is acting bloody irrational.
6. Sunohara-sou no Kanrinin-san
What can I say some dreams do come true. I like this anime for the humorous ecchi and might come back to it for that. Besides that there’s no real drive and none of the characters are particularly memorable or interesting besides being extra weird and not understanding personal space. But yeah anime am I right.
Please Take My Brother Away Season 2
Is my favourite short series of this season. It’s bloody funny, watch both seasons it won’t take too long and you’ll be crying with laughter. From those of us that have annoying siblings i’m pretty sure we can all relate. Lmao! Watch the first episode of season 1 above.
Aguu: Tensai Ningyou
This show is full of creepy damn vodoo doll users, and despite not having the best looking anime it still achieves the creeped out and disgustingly cruel theme in anime.
Basically these crazy people called the tailors have developed an art of shrinking and sewing talented people into less talented people for profit and art. Like voodoo dolls and it basically transfers the talent to the other person through all this witchcraft. There are people called Saviours who are enlightened shaman monks set out to destroy these tailors and liberate the trapped people who’ve been locked up in these crazy selfish customers bodies. Although one saviour, the grandson is more of an anti-hero since he’s got a violent streak which adds drama to the plot since he can be careless but don’t worry they’re sorting him out.
Anyway, it’s a rather creepy but is an interesting anime.
BAKI
Violence. VIOLENCE. V I O L E N C E and a great soundtrack.
Is literally the reason why I watch this anime. Baki is a sequel to the original series Baki: New Grappler Baki, all based around our main character Baki who was born under an unlucky star and is taught that his way of life should be a tenacious and fearless brawler. In the original series he had to surpass his Father but now there are more merciless criminal brutes that need to get their ass whooped by Baki.
Watching violent anime gives me inner piece you know. I’m a much more calm person and more tolerant. knowing how much i’d be killed if I pissed of a character like Baki, changes your life perspective.
Angels of Death
Despite not knowing wtf is going on in this anime, and being somewhat confused on the motivations of our main character Rachel. I’ve found myself really enjoying it, for one reason only.
Fucking crazy, high-pitched squealing manically laughing Zack. Who seems to not die, and has a solid backstory of abuse and mis-direction, whom is literally the only character you can really feel attached to and he really owns it. I feel this is the only reason why people still watch Angels of death, that and the desire to understand what the fuck is actually going on.
*Spoilers*
It’s about a girl called Rachel Gardner waking up with no memories and from the objects around slowly pieces together who she is and recalls that she was at a hospital seeking therapy after seeing a horrific act of murder, (maybe, still not clear on that). Anyway, she suddenly feels like she needs to get out of this place so takes the elevator that only seems to go to the next floor and you need to find the other elevator to get to the next floor and so on. Anyway on that floor she meets crazy serial killer Zack that really wants to slice her up. She somehow escapes to the other elevator and goes to the next floor where she meets her previous psychiatrist that pretends to be nice but actually wants to kill her and carve out her eyes to add to his collection. Somewhere between the psychiatrist really wanting to kill her and the Psychiatrist getting stabbed by Zack who apparently followed her from the first floor, this girl becomes apathetic and wants someone to kill her. She can’t commit suicide cos it’s against God and asks Zack to kill her. Zack is irritated because he chased her to another floor he’s broken some rule and now his only option is to escape this place and he decides he needs her help. Promising he’ll kill her after he gets what he wants although he says it wouldn’t be too interesting to kill her now that has this expression on her face that’s devoid of all emotion. Anyway Zack and her climb these floors facing these other weak characters on each floor that have their own reasons to want to kill her. However, she won’t die unless it’s by Zack because he promised…It sounds really dumb when you write it down but as I said before it’s more interesting because you learn more about our crazy character Zack through flashbacks and re-counts that’s way more interesting than our main character Rachel.
How not to summon a demon lord
Ah sweet heavens of ecchi, thank you for blessing my eyes with good oppai and great plot with an enjoyable well-rounded and not too OP main character.
This is an enjoyable watch which is a great revival for studio Aija Do who have only done really niche projects in the past so i’m excited for them. Especially since this anime is so well done for its premise.
Dropkick on my devil
Another funny comedy, which I couldn’t find the opening but here’s someone’s version. Where a sadistic witch tames the serpent demon Jashin-chan, using her and murdering her when she tries to murder the witch, but don’t worry Jashin-chan has fast re-generation.
It’s pretty funny.
Back Street Girls
This is one sadistic comedy that you’ll find yourself laughing so hard at both their misfortune and the craziness of the situation.
Based on 3 Yakuza that fail in a mission for their boss and are punished with getting their dicks cut off and being sent to Thailand to get a sex change and then trained to be idols to work as a side business for the Yakuza organisation and rake in money.
You gotta feel sorry for them, but at the same time your wetting yourself laughing at some of the craziest, funniest situations.
For the sake of an experience you should watch this.
Asobi Asobase
This is a definite must watch Comedy that’s only second in my opinion to Grand Blue, but this may only be because Grand Blue relates a lot to my current stage of life.
This has the most original content for a slice of life comedy based in a girls school, where these girls form the Pass time club and it’s just jokes because none of these girls have chill but get triggered over different things and it makes me keel over with laughter. It’ll make your year.
JUST WATCH IT!
