The demon held out a parchment that was old and wrinkled, "sign and the contract will be complete, your soul for the life of your younger brother" he boomed
Hesitantly, she raised the quill and signed, tears brimmed her eyes. With the final stroke of her pen, the contract fizzled out of existance. Celestial laws binding her and the contract together like skin on a human. Her little brother sputtered sucking in deep breaths. She cried out pulling him to her chest in happiness.
"Now for your soul" he declared, letting out a deep chuckle. He reached his hand over her heart, instead of phasing into her chest as intended, his hand was shot back like two magnets on the same side.
"WHAT'S THIS?! WE HAD A DEAL!" He seethed, flames coming to life around him in rage
Thats when her look of anguish melted right off of her face. Instead a wicked smirk placed itself upon her features in its stead
She chuckled darkly watching the demon fall to his knees at the runes she drew. With her chin tilted to the sky she looked down her nose at him before replying, "Thats the first rule of demonology," she tutted, "contracts signed by minors are not legally binded by celestial law"
With those words, the demon trapped in her spell was at her beck and call. At that moment he wondered who the real demon was. She'd make one hell of a demon, he was just going to have to wait for her in hell, she would be the best damn successor he would ever have.
