If you ever feel like you are too much in your mind, ground into your body. It can be as simple as stretching your arm. Feel what it feels like. Allow yourself to be in the moment, feeling the stretch and then the tension release from your arm. Releasing the tension from your physical body can help release the mental and emotional tension you feel.

there is a light at the end of whatever darkness you are facing and it is warm and embracing and as nurturing as the sun
Effort is between you, and you, and nobody else. So that team that thinks it’s ready to see you, they think what they’ve seen on film, they ain’t saw what film shows, because every day is a new day. Every moment is a new moment. So now you’ve got to go out and show them that I’m a different creature now, than I was five minutes ago, cause I’m pissed off for greatness. Cause if you ain’t pissed off for greatness, that just means you’re okay with being mediocre, and ain’t no man in here okay with just basic.

Cheers!!
For all of the cynics, desire the way they want you to be and believe the reality checks, you've grown in a thick-skinned over time. You stand still being far more unapologetically yourself and being more at ease within your skin. It proves that you are worthy of being who you are. Cheers!
im so scared and nervous. about tomorrow, about the future, about my life, about waking up and going outside, about being alone, about being with people, about talking to strangers, about driving and walking and working. i feel like im constantly afraid and anxious and on edge about every single part of my life.
Do you mistake the smallest amount of kindness from anyone as romantic affection or are you normal?
It's been a while since all I can see in the newsfeed is "it's the time of the year" everywhere on social media. You know what, it's actually happening, and it's giving me nothing but goosebumps. It might turn out to be a pleasant year for some people. Yet, it was too disturbing for most of us to be in quarantine, and how mental wellbeing has had such an impact that we have become socially emotionally drained human beings. With that, one might also encounter side effects until now. Like my friend and I discussed how we used to jam on a specific song at that time of year, but now we don't want to listen to any of those songs that get us into terrible nostalgia. Khair our bad. 2020 terrifies me like no other year genuinely because living in a new normal has changed us in something which they never thought of becoming one, and "it's that time of the year" haunts me.

“Maybe home is somebody’s smile when they look at you for the first time, and it’s like they want to love loving you for the rest of their life. Maybe home is someone’s arms after a long tiring day, and all they need to say is that you’re okay for their words to find a home in your heart. Maybe home is a person’s heartbeat, and you feel happy that this person that you love so much is alive and lying in bed next to you with nothing else to do because it’s a rainy Sunday afternoon. Maybe home is listening to the lyrics of your favorite songs and think they make so much sense than what you write in your diary, your text messages, or your list of gentle reminders for yourself when you can’t seem to get a grip on things. Maybe home is a warm puppy in your hands, and you never want to let go because you never touched something so beautiful, so tender, so precious. Maybe home is being a home to something you love and adore with all your heart, and that’s what life, friendship, and romance are all about. Or maybe home is walking down the street, and you see an old friend and nothing has changed, and for the moment you are reminiscing about the past how it felt simple, more understandable, and it was like time was infinite, like there was more of it than your present days. Maybe home is the way you see things, love things, and make them better than you have found them because you care for them, and that’s why you find yourself lost in all the love that you keep overgiving. Because maybe after all this time, home has been inside your loving heart all along.”
— Juansen Dizon, Describing Home
“It is quite unbelievable that there will be people that I will love unconditionally that I have not even met yet. Somewhere out there, in a supermarket or singing in the shower, there are souls that have not touched mine yet but will, eventually.”
— J.D.M.
Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.
Jamie Anderson (via quotesfromnowhere)
convincing yourself that your trauma isn’t valid is often a coping mechanism to block out what happened. admitting that you were hurt by what happened is scary, but it’s the first step towards recovery
Breathe. It's okay. You're going to be okay. Just breathe. Breathe, and remind yourself of all the times in the past you felt this scared. All of the times you felt this anxious and this overwhelmed. All of the times you felt this level of pain. And remind yourself how each time, you made it through. Life has thrown so much at you, and despite how difficult things have been, you've survived. Breathe and trust that you can survive this too. Trust that this struggle is part of the process. And trust that as long as you don't give up and keep pushing forward, no matter how hopeless things seem, you will make it.

I mispronounce existence, and disinterred your smile for an absent sunrise. I hear love in the stillness of you, in between every breath, but emptiness holds me tighter than any lover. I just want to dance with you under the night sky to fast songs, or slow songs, or no songs at all. darling, meet me where the stars touch the water, and we’ll forget where we’re from.
Most of this life has been a longing for something else.
