And now I want your thoughts on my actual OG baby ship-- Scorlily (who I've been shipping since I was about eight years old, long before Cursed Child came out and was like, "actually, Scorose").
It's one of my favourite HP ships! (After Drastoria and Lucissa) My good friend started to ship it a few months ago and she made me ship it too. There even was a time when we were writing a Scorlily RP
I never really liked Scorose, because Rose was always very rude to Scorpius because of some stupid rumours that he was a son of Voldemort. I mean- I expected more from a Granger- Weasley.
When I was reading tcc I didn't know that there are people that ship Albus with Scorpius and I was really surprised with it. Maybe it's because of the Polish translation (I'm a Pole, living in Poland so it was easier for me to get the translation than the original) but still... I don't like that ship very much.
And finally, Scorlily - for me, these two just belong with eachother. I have a few headcanons about them that make this ship absolutely perfect. Maybe I'll post them when I'll have some more time. For example, I headcanon that Lily and Scorpius during his 6th year became best friends and 1 year later she developed a little crush on him, but then he started dating a girl his age called Charlotte. Lily and Charlotte didn't like eachother, Charlotte often was jealous of the time Scorpius spent with Lily and it made them break up a year later. Thanks to this headcanon when I listen to "You belong with me" I always think about Scorlily
