I’m confused by the end of « Welcome to Merlin Academy

SPOILER

How come their all somewhat friends, or they at least are tolerant of each other. When in a few weeks Uli and the rest are gonna bully Ella and Bridget??? Are they going to just forget everything ? In the book Uliana is more after mischief and a bit of revenge than a bully, so how come she changes so much in a few months or weeks?

At first I thought that DRoR takes place in the doppelgänger universe but Ella is more evil in that one so that’s not possible… So how come the universe is still so different than what we saw in DRoR?

Also, I thought Morgie was way more confident than in the movie, that surprised me.

I like how we could see Bridget having some thoughts that we find back in her evil adult, empress of Wonderland self. Fuck her parents tho.

Hook is a really complex character in this one and I liked it. But I can’t help but wonder if the whole ‘am i good or bad’ wouldn’t work with Morgie more. Because in DRoR Morgie seemed to be with Uliana’s gang because he wanted to be a part of something while Hook was confident and evil.

I still liked it a lot, i really like the author.

I lowkey agree with op. Morgie definitely would’ve worked more as the protagonist of the book. Mostly because he’s completely original character to descendants and doesn’t have an evil future to commit.

Welcome to Merlin Academy: Thoughts

Just read through the new Descendants book! I give the book a 7.5. It is for kids so you gotta give it some leeway. I wrote my thoughts as I was reading it but most of my thoughts don’t make sense if you hadn’t read it. I recommend trying to get it through the public library if you can to save money

(SPOILERS FOR THE WHOLE BOOK)

* interesting hook backstory!

* no shade lady Tremaine but how is education a punishment?

* Hook is with the good kids?

* Ok so hook being vain checks out but him being the “hall monitor type” is cray

* Merlin have a psychotic break and seeing their futures/j

* Call me a snitch but if there was water themed prank im pointing fingers at the SEA witch

* bridget said damn you live like this when she heard about ella’s home life

* honestly still shocked that it’s captain hook teaming up with cinderella and queen of the hearts

* i feel like maleficent isn’t really a character right now

* Someone fully kidnapped a man?

* Morgie just wants to learn magic

* Aww Morgie being a teacher!!!

just for the drama in the fifth movie I want the sea monsters to learn about victor and nova’s visions of each other and be like “wdym you had visions of each other before you met that’s not good that’s like really bad that means that person is to be your doom” or something dramatic like that

the moonstone in zombies 5 for the sea monsters is gonna be in a huge clam, or sunken ship or a scary cave

the next zombies movie will be sea related but I think the monsters will either be mermaids, sirens or if they decide to be different then maybe krakens.
