I have some random thoughts about Spyxfamily that I have to get out:
I think Lloyd has to know that Yor is…something. Like even if he doesn’t know she’s an assassin he has to know she has some sort of training.
I also find it interesting how he’s almost forcing the idea on her that she wants more of a “real” marriage. It feels like projection.
I know a lot of people agree that “for the mission” is becoming something he says to convince himself but I also think he’s trying to convince Yor. Not consciously but she’s not really said anything about wanting more from the marriage, he’s just perceiving her actions that way and he’s smart enough to know to just ask. This isn’t even his first fake relationship! He has to know that this one is different if just for the fact that Yor also knows it’s fake!
It just feels like he’s says “yes Yor wants this” so he can ignore the fact that he wants it too.
I don’t know if Lloyd loves her, and I for sure think he doesn’t know he loves her but I do think if he relaxed a little and realized he cared for this family he’s made outside of the mission that it would easily fall into love.
At least you his part. I think Lloyd would assume Yor felt the same way and make an ass out of himself because Yor has been better about keeping things strictly business than he thinks.
