Spilling the Beans

It is a dark and stormy night. You are working late at the old chariot repair shop. It’s just you and your coworker, the soft-spoken Mr. Solus Legumius. 

Mr. Legumius has a rare genetic condition which restricts him to a diet of lentils and nothing else; any other food will kill him instantly. His whole family survives entirely on lentils, as you learned when you once offered to bake a cake for his birthday. It had to be a lentil cake, with lentil paste in lieu of icing and a whimsical dusting of lentil sprinkles on top. You thought it tasted terrible, but Mr. Legumius was clearly very touched by the gesture.

Thunder cracks outside. Rain pelts the roof of the store like a volley of arrows from a celestial army. The door swings open, and an enormous figure appears, silhouetted sharp against the night sky by the flicker of lightning. At last–a customer has arrived.

“HELLO,” says the massive gladiator, dripping rainwater on your salvete mat. “I WOULD LIKE YOU TO REPAIR MY CHARIOT.”

Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve really posted anything on here, besides a lazy reblog every now and then. I come to you to share a resource I made for everyone to use. It’s a gigantic sheet that contains all player options for 5th Edition D&D. It should contain all officially released player options (Races, subclasses, backgrounds & feats) as well as all Unearthed Arcana that released after Xantathar’s Guide. I hope you all find it to be useful. If you have any comments. Please leave them on reddit, I’ll check those. Besides that I’ve been thinking of picking up this blog again. I’ll think on it some more but maybe in the near future you’ll find new homebrew material on this blog again.

Just realized you can monitor my mental state by my shaving hygiene.

Good place: I shave regularly, try to keep things neat and smooth.

Bad place: I don't shave. At all.

Meh: I shave when I notice it has been awhile or it's getting rather noticable.

When I suddenly shave after the bad place: It is a thorough shaving, plus moisturizing, and some extra self care. I know I'm going to the good place if I start shaving regularly following this shave.

Weird, I know.

All too often I see books focus on romance to the expense of any other important relationships. I want more stories with strong friendships, particularly strong friendships between women! Generally, I want more books with women supporting and uplifting each other, where it’s not just one girl on her own in a story otherwise full of men. Enough with “Not like other girls.” 

This post is inclusive of trans women. Don’t try bringing any twisted, bigoted forms of “feminism” here. If your feminism doesn’t support ALL women (including trans women and women of color), it’s shit feminism. TERFs can fuck off and die in a ditch.

For Tender Throats

What You’ll Need:

🥃Whiskey - for protection, to fight against those icky germs!

🥃hot water, or tea

🥃lemon, or honey (optional) - to sweeten the bitter taste, and ease your sore throat

Directions:

🥃boil your water or brew your tea. Don’t make it too hot; you don’t want to scold your already sore throat. Use 1-2 oz, depending on how diluted you want it to be.

🥃stir in 1 oz. or so of whiskey.

🥃add in your honey and lemon, as preferred.

🥃make sure your drink is warm, but not too hot, then drink it.

y’all didn’t even add a tutorial of how to do this so imma put one right here 1. type in cmd.exe into your windows search and right click on Command Promt search result and select “Run as Administator”. 2. Type/Copypase in  net.exe stop “Windows Search” and make sure Windows Search is in quotations. It should then respond saying “The Windows Search service is stopping” and then tell you it’s stopped. This is only a temp fix though, if you want it switched off permanently then do THIS: 1.  Press the Windows key + R at the same time and type in services.msc. 2.  Scroll until you find Windows Search and double click it to enter its Properties window. 3.  Change the Startup type to Disabled. Apply this change and you can exit out. VOILA, NO MORE TAKEN UP DISK SPACE
