My amazing husband and I lost our baby May 5th, 2014 to a partial molar pregnancy. This blog will cover the ups and downs, wishes and fears, provide support for those who are in similar situations, and hopefully move onto my own preggo story. I live in New Zealand and the Maori people believe that pregnant women are highly sacred and when you lose a baby you are known as 'Whaea o nga anahera' which translates to 'mother of the angels' they recognise your child's life as if anybody had known them and I think that is beautiful

That’s such a beautiful saying and it has a very meaningful message. I wish other cultures (specifically my culture) would recognize our babies as humans that also lived.
