"A distraction would be best"
"Alright! Why don't we go dip our feet in the water? It will be relaxing and it's such a beautiful day!"
"I suppose"
"You suppose? Don't be silly, I am here for you. If you want to talk, you can open up to me. If not, maybe I can help distract you?"

Snow couldn’t believe the feeling he got when they were finally intimate once again after so so long. When he awoke, he found himself laying completely bare next to his lover who was covered only by his jacket. Memories of their moment together rushed back into his head. The passion, the affection, the pure need for one another. It was something he missed all too much. With a content smile, Snow carefully rose as to not wake Serah. He would dress as much as he could, however, he would have to remain without the coat for now as Serah was still using it for cover.
As she slept, Snow watched her peacefully. It was a nice sight. She was free of worry for the first time since she first became a l’Cie. A gentle hand ran up and down her form to caress her as she gained her much deserved rest. “Sleep well, darling. I’ll be right here when you wake up.” He whispered, more than content to let her relax for as long as she needed to regain her strength.
Serah slept sounded for a long while, relishing the relaxation. It had been such a long time since she had slept so soundly and the rest helped her tremendously. She was warm beneath Snow's trademark coat, cozy upon the new world's grass, and above all us, completely content. Minutes passed and soon enough she had spent more than a couple of hours catching up on sleep. She hadn't meant to linger so long in the world of dreams but to say she truly regretted it would have been a lie for when her eyes finally opened she felt more at peace than she had ever had before. She had just shared a wonderful moment with Snow and just like it had for him, it all came back when she finally returned to the world of the awake. "Snow..?" For a second she had been startled, worried he wasn't at her side, but when she felt his hand upon her she sighed in relief. "Mm.. did you fall asleep too sweetheart?"
"A little bit of everything…"
"You can talk to me.. I'm here for you Lightning."
"………Hmph"
"Whats the matter sis?"

"Mrs. Villiers…" He said, under his breath. It had a wonderful ring to it. Serah Villiers. It sounded right, and she deserved that last name after all they’d been through. He knew it would take some getting used to for Lightning, but right now, he was selfish. He didn’t even think about Lightning’s reaction to their wedding. All he thought about was that it was going to happen, and not a force in the world would stop it. He’s already played his part in destroying God… What else could possibly stand in his way?
Looking down into Serah’s eyes once again, Snow became lost in them. Though it had been many a century since he had seen Serah, it all seemed like a blur. He blinked, and they were back at Bodhum, watching the fire works. He blinked again, and they were standing underneath crystal cocoon, Lightning offering her blessing to them. And now, after another hardship, here she was, under his form, his to hold, kiss, and love. In this moment, it was just them, he would make the best of it. Snow’s head leaned in slowly toward Serah’s neck, where he would place a few affectionate kisses. He hadn’t kissed these parts of her in so long, he longed to feel her soft skin beneath his lips. After her neckline, he returned to her lips, pressing his against her own tenderly.
Serah's smile grew with each passing moment, with each new kiss he planted upon her form. She savored the pleasant sting each one gave her body and soon she could think of nothing else. She wanted to find Lightning, wanted to find their friends and reunite, but for now she had just a moment with him and she wanted to make it count. It had been far too long and she was tired of waiting. They had waited long enough as it was. "Snow.." She spoke his name softly but urgently and she gave him a tender look. There was no way he would misinterpret what she was thinking, what she wanted, needed. They had been unable to experience one another in so long and had driven her insane. "I missed you.." Her tone was laced with a sensuality he would know all too well. "I need you.." And with that the two began to revisit the part of their relationship that they had gone so long without.

" Well… I already have a small list." Lightning admitted with a softly giggle. "Though I will hold off judgment until after I meat him." she said with a smile. Just as rare it was for her to snap at Serah it was ever rarer to see her smiling and giggling.
Serah cherished that smile Lightning showed off. It was so beautiful but sadly, so rare so Serah made sure to study it. It wasn't often she got to see it so she always wanted a mental picture of it to carry around. Lightning was gorgeous all the time but she glowed when she allowed herself to smile. "I appreciate it. I love you sis." Serah leaned in and placed a dainty kiss upon Light's cheek. "I really do. Thank you for taking care of me and for looking out for me. You're a great sister."

Snow continued pressing his lips against hers. It’s been too long since they’ve kissed, felt each other, touched each other. It was all too much to bear. He looked down to her pendant when she mentioned it and nodded. “Of course I remember. This necklace was the only reason Lightning was able to save me…” He said, fingering the trinket that hung around his neck. He then looked down when he remembered that instant. “I’m… sorry if you saw that, Serah..” He spoke in a low, regretful tone. Becoming a Cieth wasn’t one of his finer moments, and if Serah was indeed watching him from the surrounding Chaos, he hoped she hadn’t witness that, knowing it would upset her beyond belief.
When Serah mentioned the wedding, however, Snow decided not to let what happened get to him. He was here now, and so was Serah. They were together with no worries, and soon they would be reunited withe everyone. “We can, and we will. I don’t want to wait Serah. I want to get married as soon as possible. We’ve been waiting long enough…”
Though there was so much they could discuss about their old lives Serah took his cue and focused only on the future. With a wedding to plan and look forward to what did it matter what he had become? He had been saved just as she had and that was all that mattered. Now they had their chance and it was best to look forward to the future. "I know we have.. it's been such a wait. As soon as we have everyone again, we'll get married. I'll finally be Mrs. Villiers! I bet Lightning will love that." Her laughter filled the air and she wondered exactly what Lightning might think. Would she be willing to dress up and attend their wedding? It had been such a long time coming and she couldn't imagine the moment without her sister at her side. She hoped Lightning wouldn't fuss, much, but it wouldn't be a happy occasion without a little drama. Besides, Light and Snow had such a funny relationship and Serah was eager to witness their banter once again.

Lightning was silent, she stared down at Serah for a while and listened to her words and even when she was done speaking she kept staring. She knew that it wasn’t right to compare her to their mother and the mistakes that she made, but she didn’t want to see them repeated with her.
" …I will support you." she said after almost five minutes of silence between the two. " But if I see things heading down the same path as mom and dad I will step in. You got it?" she asked.
With a sigh of relief Serah nodded and her tiny smile was back. Lightning really did care, she just had her own unique way of showing it. She had been wrong to compare Serah's situation with that of their parents but in the end Serah knew she just wanted to watch out for her. She would back off a little about the way in which Lightning proved that to her but only if Light would do the same. They had to meet one another in the middle if things were going to work. "I got it. You have my full permission to step in if things go sour. Just don't be too eager to find faults in Snow.."

When Snow heard Serah’s voice once again, five centuries of Chaos and sorrow completely disappeared from his soul. This was what he needed, the cure for his eternal ailment. Though many would say he was too much of a ‘tough guy’ to shed any tears, he did nothing to hold back the torrential downpour of happiness as tears rolled down his cheek. Five hundred years he went without Serah, but that was over now. Now they could be together, and pick up right where they left off.
With all of the happiness, he felt like he couldn’t even stand on his own two feet. He found himself becoming overwhelmed and weak at the knees. He would kneel down, Serah still in his arms, and lean forward to gently lay her on her back in the soft, green sea of grass. As she lay back, he gazed right into her eyes, almost with a sense of urgency for her affection. “It’s been… too long…” He whispered before he was upon her, placing greedy, passionate kisses upon her lips over and voer again. He hardly gave them a chance to breath, but he didn’t care. He breathed enough for half of a millenia. Now, it was time to make up for lost time. His right hand ran up and down her form affectionately as he continued to press his lips against hers.
"All we need.. just you and me.." He whispered, hoping Serah would remember these words from a very special night in both of their lives.
The moment was intense, more intense than Serah could have ever hoped for. Kisses upon kisses were placed upon her lips, her skin, and she could barely register what was going on, her mind reeling with all of the love he was showing her. She felt whole again, happy, and most of all, safe. He had always made her feel that way, completely safe. Though somewhere in the back of her mind she recalled that they were on the look out for their friends and family she didn't tear away. There would be no interrupting their reunion, all she needed was him. "Oh Snow.." She whispered, gazing up at her fiance and in the brilliance of the sun she caught sight of his engagement pendant. He still wore it, after all this time. Her own hung around her slender neck and she slowly reached a hand to lightly hold it in her fingers, memories of his proposal flashing in her mind. "Do you remember the night you gave me this..?" She smiled sweetly, her gaze latched on to his own. There was no doubt that he would remember but it was nice to bring it up again, it was nice to reminisce. "Now.. we can finally have our wedding. The one we've waited so long for.."

" Don’t give me that." Lightning said with a harshness to her tone. " Mom said the same things about dad, but you were too young to remember. The two of them were in love at first but then they grew about, they only stayed together because of us. Until dad had enough… he was going to leave mom but they both died before that could have happened. Why do you think they are in separate graves? Because they wanted it that way…"
Lightning rarely snapped at Serah but she felt that she needed to get her point across and this was the only way she knew how. ” I don’t support it because I don’t want you to end up with the same mistake just like mom.”
Serah was shocked. Lightning, though often cold, rarely snapped at her and yet there she was, yelling about a past that Serah had played no part in. It wasn't every day that they discussed their parents but Serah hated it to be done in such a way. Why couldn't they just remember them for the loving parents they had been? "That isn't fair and you know it Light. I'm not mom. I might make mistakes but they'll be my own, not hers. If they happen to mirror each others then so be it but I won't be held back by anyone. If I don't ever take a chance, I'll never know what could be.. that's no way to live." Serah frowned, her gaze lowering. She couldn't even look Lightning in the eye. "I don't care if you think we're rushing.. we're getting married and I can only hope you'll be there to support us.."

A soft sigh escaped Lightning’s lips, ” It was about the engagement.” she said. ” I just think that your rushing into this kind of fast, I mean… I know you want to have a family but don’t you think you getting married to snow is a bit to fast? I mean you’ve only been dating him for about 8 months.” Lightning said as she looked over at her sister with a hint of worry in her eyes.
Serah did her best not to get upset. Lightning had never been shy to share her opinions so Serah knew there was no reason to be shocked now. "If I know we're going to end up together.. why wait?" A small giggle left Lightning's little sister, happiness etched in her youthful face. It may have been fast for some people but Snow and Serah both knew it was time. There was no reason to stall. "I just have a feeling about him Light. He's the one."
