Malory sat up on her bed, a guilty look flashing across her eyes. “I was going to tell you…I was just waiting for the right time.”

“Yeah… I get that” she said with a sigh taking her friends hand in her own “if you want it’ll stay between us… I know probably don’t want others to know about it”

“That would be for the best.” Mal nodded. Myras touch surprised her but she didn’t pull away. It was something to anchor her. “There’s something else you should probably know about. You know how your dad is a crazy assassain? Well…mine is just plain crazy. He’s the Joker.”

"Joker? As in The Joker? The menace of Gotham? That Joker?" She said trying to hide the surprise on her face "I thought i had it bad... I'm sorry. I constantly complain about my family when you have it even worse than me" she pulled her friend into a hug

Myra paused in thought. She figured, seeing as Mal was a talented fighter, that she was in the same boat as herself; but never had Myra thought Mal would ever tell her this, they were close but no one is ever close enough to tell someone something like that. “I wasn’t expecting that to be what you were keeping from me… I… I’m glad that you can trust me with this Mal… It’s not something that needs to be said”

Mal watched her friend carefully, trying to read her thoughts. She knew that she could trust Myra, but she was still nervous. “I know…I’m just tired of trying to keep my past and my family a secret.”
