Rain is an aloof and studious individual that seeks to learn culture, magic and martial prowess. Being chosen to fight for Edenia, he knows his place is to ensure the princess' win in the MK Tournament.
Li Mei is the constable of Lei Chen. Aiming to ensure peace within the terraced Kingdom. Believing that only Outworld could fix it's true problems and not other realms. Dutiful to the end.
Geras is the staunch protector of the Hourglass. A friend and confidant to Liu Kang but after relieving his title, their meetings have been on occasion. Geras believes in Liu Kang's vision of the new era ensuring all have the capability to change.
They all seek to protect and carry out their duty to the end.

Got a redesign for Tanya, Smoke and Drahmin (pre-Netherrealm).
Tanya believes that what she does is for her realm to be on the top. While Smoke adheres to the Lin Kuei and does work with Liu Kang from time to time, doing undercover work. Drahmin is a firm believer of Warlord Shao's power mostly due to him being able to do sadistic stuff as his #1 torturer freely.
