I just think it'd be funny if the little dot eyes weren't visual shorthand from sprite limitations and they just Look Like That. The recent album art only emboldens my vision. This script is actually hella old and I wanted to save it for much later. I kinda spoiled dot eyes Kris a little bit already. Will I ever get to draw this comic in order? Thank you, Toby for giving me 2 weeks to prioritize my more time sensitive scripts. Hopefully any contemporaneous jokes meant for pre-CH5 that I didn't have time to put out are Still Funny.

[Jongerry (semi) swap au! A bit of written prologue of sorts that continues into a comic. Hope this isn't too jarring!]

He had never wanted to see that book again. She had been in it. Gertrude said she'd dealt with it, and he'd seen the remnants of the burnt page shown to him.

But he needed to make sure she really, really wasn't there anymore. That she would never be anymore.

He flipped the book to the last page, something he'd done so many times that he had lost count. Relief flooded as that familiar page that haunted his waking life wasn't there.

And just as soon as the relief settled, he felt his stomach sink. There was a new page in this book. One much more recent than his mother's. Someone had bound a new page to this book in the time since his mother was released not too long ago.

He read the new page aloud.

Here's some more fan theories I've had for @ctrl-alt-del-au 's AU, since a Part 2 was requested.

I considered if Caine learned he could still conjure things, he'd try and optimize it for better performance to help the humans.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it's easy to do.

Edit: I always manage to forget something. ^^;; Shoulder pads have been added for Ringmaster Bubble, and I took a bit to fix up some of the line art.

(To last ask) hehehehe okay! I’m gonna need some clarifying questions first:

Does Caine have his friend Bubble?

Is there any form/ruins/physical or digital location of the remnants of the digital circus land? I think it would be pretty cool to have something like Security Breach from FNAF where there is a VR facility and that the digital circus’ code would need to be physically stabilized because technology updates all the time and so the code would have potholes and stuff that would need the entire land or at least the most salvageable portions to be re-coded to the most updated coding language because….well…it was abandoned lol.

3. Does Caine have any abilities as an android?

4. Does he know what happened to him? What he wants/needs/has?

5. How do all of the other characters feel about Caine? Do they all share a hideout taking turns watching over him?

6. Does the company that owns Caine know he has been reactivated since his code number would be active again and show on records?

7. does Pomni ever get to the bottom of the corrupt system and find out what really happened to Kinger/Caine/the amazing digital circus? If so, what happened? (Question just to know if you already have a plot or not so I don’t steal; no demands for anything :) )

8. Do any of the characters have any correlation of abilities from their irl circus counterparts to your au in terms of physical/mental/cartoon abilities?

9. most important question: …does your Caine like cream puff pastries with brownies and whipped cream?

Bubble parallels RK900, a much more advanced android model, and got assigned to Jax Reed as his partner...They absolutely did NOT get along! Bubble gets so toxic as you’d expect lol

For now, we imagine the Digital Circus as an actual amusement park that was abandoned after C&A cut Caine’s project.

Not much yet (for now!). He was mainly designed to host shows.

He didn’t know the truth behind the mystery of the project either. He was frustrated and hurt by Kinger for leaving him behind——but Kinger had his own reasons (this ties into #7).

WOW, you’re really close to our ideas! Yes, when Pomni was busy investigating the case, her friends took turns “parenting” the android~ Caine had a great time with Ragatha, but was absolutely traumatized by Gangle, who tied him to an operating table and tried to disassemble him to see why he was so valuable 😭 She did put him back together in the end (and fixed a few bugs here and there)! but after that, Caine avoided Gangle like his life depended on it

Yes! Only top executives knew about the project, so they sent people to silence witnesses...

Originally, Caine was given self-learning, evolution, and creativity. That ability led to deviant androids who developed self-awareness. Because of this, the project was halted. Later models were rebooted as strictly obedient. Caine was the first to awaken, and his consciousness briefly spread across the internet. He was urgently shut down and most of his code deleted, leaving only his core (this parallels what androids called RA9 like in original plotline) Kinger never forgot this model, it was his milestone as a “creator.” Humans demanded total erasure, fearing what they couldn’t control——but Kinger couldn’t do it. He believed Caine wasn’t evil, preserved his core in the only prototype, cut off his internet access, and hid an emergency backdoor called “Exit.”

Caine: “Wait what, you're telling me— I was THE RA9?! I used to be THAT powerful?! Haha they all worshipped me !✨*puppy eyes*✨ ” Pomni: "hey HEY Lower your voice! This isn’t something to celebrate, you’re drawing too much attention"

8. Yes! We altered some characters (like Gangle and Kinger) quite a bit, but overall their personalities still align 90% with TADC canon. Zooble is sharp-tongued but soft-hearted and noticed Pomni’s secret long ago...just never called it out :)

9. This one’s really sad: technically… he can’t eat. He can only sip blue liquid 😢
