sometimes ur own hallucinations may show up on camera or on a recording if its an auditory hallucination, so if ur unsure and have someone you trust, you can try sending the picture or recording to them and asking them what they see/hear too!!

I’ve only ever had like three or four instances of visual hallucinations but a friend who has them regularly

says that the way she checks is that she takes off her glasses, and if the image is still in perfect focus, that’s a hallucination

that might not work for everyone, but it might be helpful for some!

When I thought I was hearing a roommate/family member in the next room and thought they were talking to me, and couldn’t tell if they were actually in there or not and if they were actually saying those things (and usually the things they were saying were pretty bizarre and mean), if I put on headphones and blasted music and could still hear them clearly then I could tell it wasn’t them and I was hallucinating (so bascially similar to the eyeglasses post above, but on the auditory side of things). Headphones and music are great for fact-checking or for helping to block the quieter things out.

I don’t think people realize how much of an impact this kind of support can have, I don’t think everyone knows what these little things can mean to us.

It may just be me, I don’t know. But every single time I see this on my dash or on someone’s blog or anywhere else, I kind of just breathe a sigh of relief. That’s one more person who cares. That’s one more person who doesn’t hate me.

Because it means so much, especially when all the media is spewing out is that I’m a terrible person and no one wants people like me near them. It means so much because I’m tired of people who won’t sit next to me in class, or who choose to join the longer line at the grocery store because they don’t want to be beside me and my family. It means so much when I have to lift my head any time someone says the words Islam or Muslim because I’m scared that they’ll say something that’ll hurt, when I have to pay attention to the news because who knows what so and so is saying now, who knows which of my people are being attacked now, who knows what’s going to happen to me now.

It means so much because I’ve been given the idea that the world is against me. And a huge part of it may be, but at least I’ve been reminded that some of it, just a small group of people, acknowledges that I’m a person too. That people like me are just that, people.

Maybe it’s just me, I don’t know. But now you do, so thank you for believing that I’m human when so many people don’t.

About a week ago I posted this.

I’ve been getting horrible messages like this in my ask for months, including:

After getting the message saying “Just go kill yourself” I was completely done dealing with this person’s horrible messages and replied with just an “Okay.” and logged off tumblr.

About a week later I logged back on with 17 messages in my ask, most of them from the anon. I scrolled down and at first when I logged off, the anon messaged me things like

This was extremely surprising to me. I thought “After all those horrible messages you sent to me for MONTHS about hating me and wanting me dead, you say ‘sorry’ and that you ‘cant be responsible for someone’s suicide’?”

muja kina redesign! (request)

First Name: Sahota 佐保田 - Sa meaning “aid, help.” Ho meaning “to protect; to safeguard; to defend.” And Ta meaning “paddy, field.” I gave her this name because Muja is a nurse, wants to protect and defend Taro instead of trying to seduce him.

Last Name: Yoshida 吉田 - Yoshi meaning “lucky, good.” And Da meaning “field, rice paddy.” I gave her this surname because I believe that Muja is a genuinely good and kind person, and you’d be lucky to be her friend.

Appearance: Sahota has light blonde hair and deep blue eyes, she’s pretty tanned since she likes to travel to hot countries all over the world. Her hair is always wrapped up in a low bun and she gets irritated whenever any of it becomes loose. She has a pear figure and is slightly on the chubby side, but that doesn’t bother her. She’s flat chested and doesn’t wear a dress or skirt while working, she personally believes it restricts her movement.

Personality: Unlike her original ‘design’, Sahota isn’t clumsy at all, she messes up every so often, but she’s generally a focused person who loves her job. She can be serious while working, but has a playful side when she’s treating some of the younger kids (talking about really young, not the 1st years) and gives them cookies and stickers when they get a jag. Like I said before, she loves to travel, and has been all over Europe with her wife Mida (haven’t redesigned her yet).

Relationship with Senpai, if you murder the other rivals: Sahota has noticed the disappearances and has also noticed that the victims have been related to Taro in some way. She invites him into her office and gives him books and other things to keep his mind busy. She once bought him a proper binding, after finding out that he’d only got a cheap one. (Seriously, don’t use cheap binders, get a proper one <3)

Relationship with Senpai, if you don’t murder the other rivals: Taro tends to be getting more injuries from physical bullying. Sahota takes him under her wing and yet again, buys him books and such to keep him busy (the binder too!) She appreciates his company and sees him like he’s her own son.

First Name: Reine 怜音 - Rei meaning “pity, sympathize.” Ne meaning "sound.” I chose this because Yui doesn’t pity people, and also of the headcanon that she’s an amazing singer.

Last Name: Himura 緋村 - Hi meaning “scarlet, dark red.” And Mura meaning “ town, village.” I chose this because Yuis hair is red in the game. I also thought it sounded nice :’)

Appearance: Reine naturally had long dark brown hair, but decided that was boring and cut it short and dyed it a deep red. She loves wearing contacts, every single day her eyes are some weird colour, she once came into class with those contacts that fill your entire eye black (she got detention). She violates the dress code often, wearing huge boots and eyeliner so thick it could fill her entire eyelid practically. She tends to wear a skirt that goes down to her knees though, she hates short skirts.

Personality: As a child, Reine was usually sweet and bubbly, but as she grew up and discovered the ~internet~ Reine became ‘evil’. She pretend to be cool with murder and blood and everything, but at the sight of a drop of blood she’ll squeal and hide behind the person. She loves singing, and belts out songs in the middle of the night, much to her parents ‘delight’.

Relationship with Senpai: She isn’t a rival but she doesn’t like him that much.

I LOVE KIZANA I WAS SO EXCITED WHEN I GOT THIS ASK

First Name: Chihime 千姫 - Chi meaning “thousand.” And Hime meaning “princess.” I gave Kizana this name because she should be worht thousands and she’s a himedere!

Last Name: Aihara 藍原 - Ai meaning “indigo, indigo plant.” And Hara meaning “plain, original.” Since Kizana has a purple colour scheme, and she’s said to encourage creativity and originality, I thought this suited her.

Appearance: Chihime has platinum blonde hair (dyed from brown) and slender green eyes. She has an olive skin tone and freckles scattered across her face (which she embraces), her nose is pointed and her chin is sharp. Chihime has long fingers and manicured nails, which are usually glossy and purple.

Personality: Chihime loves the drama club, obviously, she enjoys the diversity of the people that go there, and helps them with creative writing and coming up with ideas. She’s also a brilliant author, and writes small drabbles for Megami (who I’m doing next) to read! She admires Megami and adores her, but her love isn’t returned, yet. Chihime enjoys spotting out the small differences in people, noticing when someone has a small beauty spot on their cheek, or freckles on their elbows, she loves it. It reminds her how everyone is different in their little ways.

Relationship with Senpai: Chihime was firstly interested in Taro when he came out as trans, she received many lectures from Miho (Osana) about respecting him and not forcing him to talk about it. Chihime still thanks Miho for educating her and doesn’t bring up the fact that he’s trans unless he wants to talk about it. She wants him to join the drama club, since everyone there is kind and accepting, but can accept that he doesn’t want to join any clubs.

First Name: Eiko 栄子 - Meaning splendid child, or long-lived child. I thought this suited the heir of a company.

Last Name: Saito 斎藤 - Sai meaning “purification, worship.” And To meaning "wisteria.” I gave her this surname because Megami most likely is worshipped by a lot of students, and that it isn’t much different to her current last name.

Appearance: Eiko has thick, glossy black hair that reaches her waist, her large blue eyes sit directly in the middle of her smallish face. She likes wearing olive green and light blue, since they contrast nicely on her brown skin. She wears a navy cardigan to school, and a long navy skirt that sweeps just past her knees. She also wears a black tie to school, and dress shoes. At home she tends to change into something brighter, like I said above.

Personality: Eiko is elegant and born with amazing leadership skills. However, she tends to come across as ‘too bossy’ and stubborn or rude. She doesn’t like taking orders from anyone, and even a simple suggestion will make her annoyed, Chihime has been helping her with that though, and she truly appreciates it, even if she knows that Chihimes feelings are more lovey-dovey than friendly.

Relationship with Senpai: She and Taro share similar interests, they go out to restaurants and discuss literature together. They’ve been to several book fairs and Eiko enjoys his company, she supports him in every way and hopes that they’ll stay in contact after they both leave Akademi.
