Does anyone else think it a tad peculiar when someone follows you BUT they have no content on their blog whatsoever? Not a title, a single post, or photo. It is just a url. Not sure who you are, but that seems a bit strange. I would not normally say anything about it but there are multiple blogs following me recently that are like this. What gives?

Looks like this year will be the first Christmas ever in my life that I don't get to spend with my mom and dad. I feel like a bit of a mess. I've always been so close with my parents, and I am still even though I am a parent myself now. Nothing compares to spending time with them. So...here's to keeping a brave, smiling face for my littles this year.

And if there is a storm brewing, your kind words and actions just might be the calm they need. That calm could lead them to healing. Have compassion and be kind.
