Gemma: Do you mind picking up a few wine coolers on the way back from work? I'm thinking we head to the beach and let our worries wash away.
elliedayne:
“You want some peanut butter?”
“Thanks, but I’m actually allergic. Not like, deathly allergic, though, so don’t worry. I think I can see some Nutella in here, so that’s a good alternative, right?”
camillemorgan:
“You could always jump in,” Camille teased, waving her arm wildly towards the pools that were at the bottom of each slide. “I mean, you might have to wait hours in the lines to get from the top back down here to the bottom, but some of them are in the shade, at least.” Camille blushed, confessing, “I don’t really like the water that much. I mean, pools I can handle if I’m in the right mood, but the ocean? Or like, water when I’m not expecting it? No thank you.”
“I can find a way to sneak in,” she said with a sly grin. She would never admit it, but she had managed to sneak into the water-park after hours to take a dip. It was pretty unsafe and not responsible, but it was fun while it lasted. Hearing Camille’s confession, Gemma raised her eyebrows. “Seriously? Well, hats off to you for pulling off the part. You do have to talk about water and the ocean pretty much all of the time.”
dylanofstarcommand:
“Don’t worry you have me in your team, I’ll make sure nothing happens to you” Dylan said matching her grin before watching their opponents and realizing they might actually win this. He looked back at Gemma and smiled at her “Nope we wouldn’t and I would have made sure the doctors know it was your fault, just so you know.” He teased her before grinning at her while she described Kristoff, “So in other words you picked his team because you have a crush on him? Are you sure you were describing Kristoff or me?”
Gemma laughed. “My hero,” she responded, placing a hand over her heart. “Is that even possible? I find it hard to believe that they’d be able to trace it back to me. I can’t have any crime on my back,” she said in defense, laughing. She wasn’t really the heartbreaker type, anyway. More often than not, she was the one who was getting her own heart broken. Gemma blushed, looking at the ground. “You think very highly of yourself,” she responded with a smirk. “But if the shoe fits,” she added with a laugh.
carter-monroe:
“Of course, and at the end of the day it’s about making them happy.”
“Well, it’s where dreams come true, right? Have to keep the magic alive no matter what we’re feeling.” She shrugged. “It does help going back to the apartment and changing into some comfy PJs for some personal happy time.”
dylanofstarcommand:
Since high school Dylan was always told that any sports event or important event he should be early to really prepare himself. He’s always lived that up and even now with the Summer Games he was early to warm up for the event of the day. Dylan was currently stretching and warming up his body when a voice interrupted his concentration. “That can be arranged, but I wouldn’t want them to kick me out before the games even start.” He told her with a grin “So Team Kristoff, huh? Glad you didn’t went for the snowman, that would have broken my heart.”
Gemma giggled quietly, her eyes focused on the organizers setting up the relay. There were a few minutes to spare, so she was able to observe her opponents. Turning her head towards Dylan, she noticed him warming up and nodded her up. “If I get out of here unscathed, I might just take you up on that offer,” she replied with a grin. Gemma bit her lip and looked at her feet before turning her head back to him. “We wouldn’t want that, now would we?” she responded. “I’ve always been partial to Kristoff, what can I say? He’s good with animals, he’s strong, and he’s totally goofy.”
neilwestin:
Neil was pushing his way through the crowd to get to Team Olaf, but he couldn’t help but chuckle as he heard Gemma’s comment. “Ice Bucket challenge! Are we allowed to just start it out of nothing, or do we really need to get tagged first before we’re allowed to do it?”
“It might just start by accident,” she responded with a laugh. The idea of being dunked with ice cold water sounded a little terrifying, but in the end, it would’ve been a big relief. “Just be careful. You might find yourself with a bucket right over your head,” she teased.
gabriel-carson:
Gabriel turned to the brunette and grinned “I can arrange that or we can cool off another way…” He directed his gaze to the snow cone machine nearby “Blue raspberry snowcone on me?”
Gemma turned her head up towards him, eager to hear his response. Initially, she was unsure of what he had in mind, but the sound of a cold snow cone really hit the spot. “How could I refuse?” she responded. “Blue raspberry’s my favorite.”
camillemorgan:
Camille didn’t intend to actually participate in the relay, she was just wishing her friends good luck as an honorary member of Team Kristoff, then she would try to disappear off to the side to watch. As she heard Gemma’s comment, though, she shook her head, having a hard time masking her judgment. “Believe me, it’s not as fun as you think it’s going to be – I get too cold even when I’m just getting water dumped on my head on the Kali River Rapids, no matter how hot you think it is, the cold water always comes as a shock.”
Taking note, Gemma nodded. Normally, she loved going in the water. Especially in the heat, it made her feel refreshed and renewed. On a day like today, she wanted nothing more than to slip into the waterpark and dive straight into the pool. “Maybe, but at this point, I’ll take anything. If I stand here any longer, I might just turn into a crisp.” Grinning, she saw the organizers begin to line up the teams. Still standing next to Camille, Gemma looked ahead of them. “You’d think that as Ariel, you wouldn’t mind getting wet,” she teased, seeing the buckets at the starting line.
evangelinerowe:
“Very understandable” Evie murmured, fanning herself a little more. Luckily she was cooling off now, which was always a good thing. “Oh. I love being able to wear those dresses. It’s a shame since it doesn’t happen too often”
“Make a petition and it might happen,” she joked, smiling. “I guess I’m lucky in that my costume isn’t too complicated and heavy. Though, it’d probably would be if it was authentic material.” Looking at the brunette’s dress, she shrugged. “It does look pretty fun to twirl around in that, though.”
carter-monroe:
“I try my hardest not to go crazy. I need to remember that I need the money and that it makes the kids happy..”
“But it makes you happy, right? I mean, not the whole stanky costume, thing. Working with kids is a handful, but it’s a fun experience.”
carter-monroe:
“As fun as it is being Tigger a lot of the time, I feel like little kids only see me as a bathroom. My costume… definately needs to be washed.”
“I’ll never complain about my job ever again,” she responded. She didn’t know the girl that well, but she already had respect for her after what she heard. “I’d go nuts if I were you.”
evangelinerowe:
“It’s on these hot summer days that I regret getting cast as a Princess with such a poofy dress” Evangeline sighed, as she fanned herself. The parade has just finished, and to say she was hot was an understatement. “I swear I practically sweated my make up off out there. Gross. I know”
Overhearing Evangeline, Gemma turned to listen. “Gross, but understandable,” she replied with a knowing smile. “You can at least get a small break when you get to wear her other dress. More layers, but not as heavy and puffy.”
elliedayne:
“Snack time.”
“I wish I hadn’t cleaned out my Fig Newton bars,” she huffed, looking over. “Looks like my snack time is wiped clean.”
jezzilopez:
Jezabel stood there people watching, since she hadn’t had much to do she decided she might as well head on over to the first event. She was so focused on sizing up her competition she didn’t noticed she was no longer alone until a soft voice startled her. “Shit, you scared me” she said after jumping back and placing her hand on her fast beating heart. “Wait did you say you want someone to dump that ice bucket at you? Why? I’m hoping I don’t get wet at all but the possibilities of that happening are very slim.” Jezabel huffed before looking around her and groaning “Please don’t tell me I’m standing with the wrong team” she said noticing that a fellow Team Olaf was a further away from them.
Noticing that she had startled her, Gemma jumped a little as well. “Sorry,” she muttered quickly with a nervous chuckle. “Are you kidding? I feel like I’m boiling right now,” she said in response, feeling her skin tingle from the thought of a cold refresher. Smirking, she nudged her a little. “If you don’t want to get wet, then, you’d better be careful!” she warned jokingly. Finding that she was with the wrong team, Gemma chuckled. “I believe you are standing with the right team,” she said, “but this isn’t Team Olaf,” she added nodding over to the other group.
Biting her lip, she quickly ran backstage, cursing internally. She was hardly ever late, but she was about to be if she didn’t make it to her location on time. Slipping through a few more people, she checked a nearby clock and sighed in relief. The relay hadn’t started yet, so she still had a few seconds to kill. Standing near the other cast-members on Team Kristoff, she murmured to the person next to her. “I might just want someone to dump that ice bucket on me.”
