Another earth… “ She trailed off for a moment still not understanding what is happening as she went through some files from the station and put all the unsolved cases in front of her. She was told by Matt a day ago, to not trust anyone. Not to invite anyone in her home. That he will explain it all but he never really did. She needed to at least dive into something to keep her mind off things. So why not solve some unsolved cases from technically speaking ten years ago. “ I knew this town was … something. . but getting sent to another world? “ She muttered as she opened a file on three decapitated victims.

There were so many things that Bonnie could have and should have been doing to not only protect herself but others she loved. Instead the young mother to be found herself in front of the old jewelry store staring deeply at the necklaces in the window before she places a hand on the glass and with a burst of magic it cracks to dust. Walking through the large panels empty of glass she walks through the store looking at the gold and silver, now jewelry never really held a special place in her heart save for the necklace of Enzo’s blood that he had gifted her. But she felt so drawn to it all and she felt this urge to protect it, own it when she never felt that way before. Grabbing up a few chains and rings she held the close to her face. Hearing the crunch of the glass now mostly sand Bonnie didn’t turn, “Get away from it.” She warns.

Landon figured if they were going to be stuck in this prison world he might as well take the time to train a little even if it was by himself in the woods. What good was a bird that couldn’t fly? Unless being a phoenix didn’t really mean a literal bird. If someone, killed him here at least he’d be back just like any other time so he didn’t feel a great urge to hide out and just wait for the others to save him. Climbing onto a large fallen tree he leaps flapping his arms trying to get some air and stay in the air.

      Tatia had broken into a store. Hair still wet from her shower, she knew to change into something else, though considering she had no home or clothes but the ones she kept taking, she had to make due. Putting on a black crop top and black jeans, tatia felt odd. “ Modern wear are quite odd.” She muttered as she put on a leather jacket. Trying to figure out which zipper went where. “ Why does this have two?”  Cursing in her tongue before giving up and leaving her jacket open.

         Hope had put on the oversize shirt she took with her to change into when she was done with her run. She needed to let out some stress. Burn away some of the feelings she was dealing with. Frustrations of mostly everything in her life. Of course, there were some good things like her father being back. Coming back herself from malivore. while some things could better. 

       A sigh escaped her lips as she stood up. Hearing a twig snap, hope looked towards the direction. “ I suggest coming out before. Now. before I decide to burn this entire wood and you with it.” Hope didn’t know what to trust here after all.

Liv’s face stung from the scratches on it, her leg was bleeding too but she ignored it as she ran through the alley and into the main street of town near the town square. She looks around trying to figure out a good hiding spot, knowing she might have killed someone but they could be back, whatever they were, whoever they were. Seeing the Grill she used her magic to click the lock open and slipped inside, going behind the bar she poured herself a shot of gin taking it down in one gulp. “I swear I will blow your world up.” She says to the footsteps that came closer as she slams the shot glass down on the bar.

bemusement. that was what luke was feeling. it was the only way that he could describe it – the all too familiar feeling of danger came surging back in. he was a fool to think that his second attempt at life would be much different than the first. he had recognised the gemini spell; he could only assume that they had been transported to a prison world – but which one? 

he staggered around the streets looking for any semblance of life that he could find – he was hoping that he would find a friend, or ally – rather than the much worse alternative. he saw someone in the distance; not that he could make out their form. he decided to be proactive in getting a hand up, rather than reactive, especially as he did not know what resided here. 

“motus” he exclaimed, sending the body hurtling towards the ground. he held his spell over them until he approached. not being able to see the person clearly.

He didn’t care he was trapped in some weird time-travel spell, he was convinced some witch was playing a trick on him - he’d certainly pissed off more than a few powerful ones in the decades he’d lived without his humanity. 

“Okay! Fun’s over now!” He yelled up at the sky, sounding more British than ever in his anger, “Let me out of here before I start finding and killing people.” There was no way in hell he was the only person here…right?

There was a tiny little seed of doubt planted deep inside, a tiny little…niggle. As quick as it came, he shut it down. No way in hell was he about to turn it back on and let everything awful come flooding back…especially not while trapped in some witch’s idea of a punishment.

Once Alaric emerged from his study with the worrying knowledge of their whereabouts he immediately moved out to the common area that he expected his students would mostly be gathering. Projecting as loud as he can to be heard over their anxious mumbling he began addressing as many as could hear– or would hear him in light of his recent downfall as their headmaster.  

“Listen up! I need you all to know the newest threat we’re facing. It’s unlike any Malivore monster you may have seen. The people here look just like you and me. That doesn’t mean you should treat them with any less caution. I need you all to look after the younger kids. Team up–don’t travel alone and I’m going to figure out how to return us to our school as soon as I can.” There was only so much information you could unload on unsuspecting children, hopefully, they’d head his warning despite his previous misgivings. “If you have any questions please–I’m here to answer.”

“This can’t be happening.” Sure enough, there was Caroline’s childhood front yard with twin bicycles and toys strewn about the lawn. How was thing happening? She knelt down on the grass where two dolls lay, one blonde and one brunette - she’d bought them for Lizzie and Josie when they’d gone to New Orleans to track Klaus down all those years ago. A smile crept across her face - at least there was some good in all this frightening chaos. Memories of the girls as children played through her mind as she stood on the grass.

Caroline had never been in a prison world, but the air stood still like just before a storm in the real world. There was something unnerving about it, whether it was the magic or the knowledge that Kai could be lurking she didn’t know, but she knew standing about on her old lawn reminiscing of the girls’ childhood wasn’t practical or safe.

A noise sounding from behind her had her whipping her head around, ready to defend herself. “Who’s there!?”

Bonnie ran around the town, which was more of a power walk, her shop was gone, no surprise there. She knew where she was, when she was and there wasn’t anything anyone could do about it without the ascendant to bring them back. Hot tears fell down her face, “I can’t be here. I can’t.”

was there EVER going to be a time she woke up ( after fainting ) without a headache? or was it just a side effect —– of a Josie side effect. slowly trying to take in her surrounding, Lizzie pushed herself up from the floor, stumbling a little as she frantically began looking around her. “Josie?” her voice croaked slightly, hand coming to her head, willing for it to stop hurting. 

               for once, she knew she couldn’t think of herself; after she had witnessed Josie take in all the dark magic, it left her even more anxious to find her. “JOSIE!” the witches, even Luke and her Aunt Bonnie was pushed to the back of her mind. she needed to find her sister. “Jo, please; WHERE ARE YOU?”

this all felt so familar to him, yet WRONG in so many ways, because he knew it wasn’t possible. they had gone back in time —— or he had, so far the wolf had not seen another person. but this, it wasn’t possible, people can’t just go back in time, no matter how much he had wished he could’ve only days — WEEKS AGO. 

           “hello?” tyler called out. “now would be a great time for more people to be around.”

Walking around the seemingly empty town Kai hears a heartbeat, show time. Stepping around the corner of a building he smiles, “Well, well, well, a little late to the party but than again the directions can be a little confusing.” He muses with a soft amused look on his face before he focuses on the one in front of him again. “I’d be careful about being out on the streets.”

“So, these are the best burgers in town?” Sitting outside the Mystic Grill like normal was strange for the brit, he never cared much blending in with humans - well, he never cared much for anything - but something about the town almost made him want to pretend. Decades of humanity-less vampirism was boring without a little fun every now and then.
