'Gwyn ap Nudd' My depiction of the legendary figure Gwyn ap Nudd, the fairy guardian of Annwfn (The otherworld) from Cymru folklore. He sits on a stone throne adorned with spirals inspired by the rock art found at several sites on the island Ynys Mon. At his feet is one of the Cwn Annwn, the legendary white hounds of the Annwfn, he sits in a glade of silver trees and foliage of unusual colours, surrounded by a thick white fog. Above the constellation of Gemini glistens in the sky.

The original artwork is available to view every Saturday & Sunday at the Dorygallery Llangollen until the 27th of September 2026

Mythic Mayhem's Return and Health Update

Hello all, later today Mythic Mayhem's first 2026 episode will be dropping on the official website - Mythicmayhemcomic.com , Webtoon, Tapas, Fables and NamiComi around 6pm BST. I do hope you will enjoy it!

For my health update, some of you may of seen I've had an MRI and other procedures. Well I am now waiting to see a Neurologist as there is pressure on my brain, optic nerves and spine. This makes my already chronically ill riddled body harder to deal with. As I am now suffering with headaches, neck pain, blurry vision, even more fatigue and dizziness. So I hope you all can understand and have some patience with me if later eps are late or delayed. I'm doing my best to keep positive, work on what I can and do the odd fun stream once or twice a week health permitting.

Any support on Patreon, Ko-fi or Twitch is greatly appreciated. But do not feel pressured to pledge, always look after yourselves first xxx

Saint George and the Dragon!

It is April 23rd (Saint George's Day) so here are some fun facts!

The original Saint George had legends in the 4th-6th centuries, and his story was one of matyrdom, dying for Christian values etc. whereas the Saint George And The Dragon myths were an 11th century embellishment. Here I have him as a roman officer in the sort of cavalry armour that would have been worn in 4th-6th centuries, with metal plates sewn into fabric. The dragon is obviously a 11th century addition! Saint George's horse is traditionally white, as he is one of 14 Holy Helpers in Roman Catholic tradition, so in pictures where he's lined up with the other 13 helpers he's given a white horse to say "this one is George". Saint George also has a white flag with a red cross.

Growing up in the UK, I know him as the Patron Saint of England, but he is also Patron Saint of Ethiopia, Georgia, Catalonia (Spain), Aragon (Spain) and Moscow (Russia). He is also the patron saint of soldiers and livestock!

His battle with the dragon may have taken place in Beirut (Lebanon), Silene (Libya), Cappodocia (Turkey).

The dragon pictured above is a dragon from my project, the green wyvern (Megavipera viride), which has a wide distribution throughout Europe and North Africa, which hopefully covers all the regions George is said to have fought the dragon in!
