It is so good to have hobbies like this.

I'm into foraging, especially mushroom hunting. But I am SO BAD at it you guys. Like, I do my due diligence in terms of research and safety, but I'm bad at actually finding the things and also bad at remembering things I need to know to identify plants/fungi confidently. I haven't actually harvested a mushroom in over 2 years now.

HOWEVER. A failed mushroom hunt is still a nice walk in the woods. I don't need to be good at it to have a good time. And while I hope I get better at it, I don't feel pressured or rushed to do so. It's just nice.

This is partly because dragon tails are so fat and have such weight to them, that in attempting to wag a tail, the whole body is affected. So many dragons just choose to go ahead and wiggle the everything they've got

eviewisdom is another scam artist, very similar to other scam artists out there - vastly different art styles, almost each image claiming to be a "commission from a client" and these generic prompt-y descriptions.

Her cover art is stolen

The first art she uploaded is also stolen

The others are hard to track but like I said, they differ in style a lot and are often uploaded in pretty bad quality.

Some of them seem to be AI-ed stolen artwork (I'm pretty sure I've seen OG art for that one)

and another exaple of AI, look at the hands and heads

...which is such a shame because they can do art.

This doesn't look all that bad. ...but unfortunately I can't trust this because the image could be traced from somewhere.

If you aren't being honest with your skills as an artist, then you're a scammer. Plain and simple.

Update: Ko-fi scam situation

Hello everyone! @kyra45 made me aware that the official ko-fi team has posted on their Discord that they are aware of the ko-fi scam messages going around, and that users can disable messages from people who are not logged in.

Their statement:

Hi Ko-fi Bean! The team is aware of a scam circulating on Ko-fi and is already working on a fix. If you receive a comment or commission request DM from a user claiming to be from the Support or Trust and Safety team, please do not click any links and report their ko-fi page. Please know that official communications from these teams will always come via email, never via ko-fi DM's. Note: Official ko-fi emails will end in @ko-fi.com To prevent DMs coming through via the commission messaging function, you can temporarily disable the ability to receive messages here.

You can toggle this to private but I haven’t seen a specific switch so it may be based on blog visibility? Either way keep in mind posts are public and so is anything you say.

Basically it just shows posts you commented on and what you commented with.

Saying this before anyone starts making angry posts to get attention and cause panic.
