The boy feeling so steamed, the water bottle he was holding onto started to boil. Confused, he robotically slowly strolled away.

“Don’t worry. I already could guess that much.” He still took her hand however, even if his pride as a man may be hurt from this, which made her smile even wider. It felt… Nice… Actually holding it for once, without feeling like slapping it away, just because it had been so embarrassing…

And so, she gracefully led him towards the place that had been freed for the people to dance on. After finding a space for them, she stopped there with him and looked at him. Finally, the embarrassment was kicking in and she cleared her throat.

“W-Well… Put your hand on my hip.” She said while raising her own to his shoulder, “A-And… With the other, take my other hand and stretch it out like that. After that… Just follow my rhythm and don’t try to step on me. Just flow alongside me and it should be fine.” After she waited for him to act upon her instructions, she tried her best not to be too distracted by him holding her like that. She took a deep breath, waited for the right moment and then… She began to dance.

Here we go, the pair were reaching their stage and Touma’s current main event is at hand, literally. After being lead on and feeling his own dose of bashfulness,he’s been granted access to touch her hip. Sure, he figured this was common practice to dancing in general, but being in person and doing the act for yourself is a different matter entirely. This innocent act felt intimate and genuine, the blank-slated mind of Touma wonders how anyone can climb over the initial slump and without further delay now, it was his turn. 

“First step plunge, here I go..” He voice quietly trailed off as Touma nevrously adjusts his hand closer and closer to the girl’s hip. He may touched that hip a bit firmer than he should but the boy felt a tingling sensation; a connection if you will. He figured it was just some of Electromaster’s magnetism, but something about being physically connected like this and for it not be caused by his misfortune, leaves quite a different impression on the boy. 

Attempting to make some decent eye contact with the girl, Mr. Unlucky attempts respond to her instructions. “W-well, how about this, just step on me and we’ll be fine.” He paused to reflect on how that can be seriously be taken out of context and he adeptly cleared his throat. “Going with the flow, flowing I go.” Taking Mikoto’s advice, he began to awkwardly copy her movements. Slowly he mirrored of where she wanted to go. He followed and before he knew it, the boy was dancing.

It felt right and strangely he was having fun.

Becoming a mall Santa, a fulfilling job and a giving one for the timing of the season. Touma here, recently became a Santa Claus, mostly for part-time work of course as his allowances ran a bit short this month and well, the pressure of buying gifts. Specifically on two key factors: Index recently learning the concept of receiving gifts and well, getting a gift for his special somebody.

The boy sat there in his fancy red chair at the 7th district’s underground mall. Touma is trying to be cheery and humble, whilst sweating profusely in his pillow stuffed red suit. However, his work day mostly consisted of dealing with bratty child errors and overly sick kids. It wasn’t really too ideal of a day for the Level 0. His luck did turn around in a most unexpected way. One scan of the room and suddenly there she was, his special someone dressed in a very alluring “tis’ the season” outfit.

Eyes widen and before he could even react to his surprise, the girl sat on his lap. The sudden shock drove the heated blood to his head and shouted the first words the came to mind.”SILVER BELLS!” He yelled in a squeaked voice cracking pitch. Grasping somewhat of a proper level with his hormones, he attempts to save face. “H-hi M-Misaka-san- NO! MIKOTO! HI, HELLO GIRLFRIEND OF MINE! WAIT, I MEAN, MISSUS CLAUS!” Great start there, Touma.

“I know that already, jeez!” She retorted back to him as she raised an eyebrow, “I might be angry sometimes, but that is just the circumstances, not you… I mean if I’d really believe you would play around with tons of girls, I would do much more…” If that was supposed to be some form of solace, she was probably doing a bad job at it. 

And so he began to talk about one random encounter he had and he carried on, he could see her frowning, widening her eyes and looking angry basically at the same time. 

“It makes as much sense that I am actually worried about your morals, right now… BUT…” She took a deep breath, “I know it’s you and therefore, I believe you…” And she seemed convinced, “In that sense the both of us are more or less lucky, right? at least I can’t recall you seeing me half-naked one time…” She blushed as she realised that she just said this out loud, 

“A-Anyway! I have tried my best to seduce you. My dare is done! End of the story, haha!” God, now it was getting awkward…

Finally, Touma achieved a complete victory over the impossible challenge that is Misaka Mikoto! Or did he? At first, he he was making some strides to convince the girl, but he immediately gasped and did a reevaluating double take on the girl’s off-brand comments. “She would’ve done more?..More or less lucky that we didn’t see each naked?” These quotes floated and transformed within his mind for some time, wildly imagining the possibilities. How,why even would she say such things?!

The boy quickly shook his steamed head to shake off those very impure thoughts. I guess you can say that girl actually managed to seduce the boy after all. “L-l-l-l-look, let’s just take things from the tip- I MEAN TOP! NO, FRESH NEW GAME! GUY BUYS YOU FOOD OK?!” At first, he swallowed his embarrassment but then it all came spilling out to the girl. The poor guy progressively became a hot mess. “ ...let’s just go somewhere to eat. My treat, ok?” He exclaimed his final disposition with a sigh. Such misfortune.

She was also happy that he actually said he’d be happy to see her again, because she surely was:

“I… Well… I just wanted to ask if you… Well… If we could go and…” She only grew redder and redder as she continued to talk, “… Eat something together and catch up? You know… T-To get to know each other better… You know… I mean… We may work together once more together, r-right?” Here it was! She said it! Her comrades would be so proud of her that she actually evolved from the “giving him hot towels” stage!

Oh what to do now? With his sweet freedom now kicked to the curb, he has tend to the bashful girl. Well, in contrast of what has to deal on a daily basis, this was a nice compromise. “Oh? Well I’m in your care, Itsuwa, thank you.” He sheepishly smiled at the prospect of how wonderfully “normal” and “ordinary” the scenario is. Oh how long he longed for such descriptions of his life.

“So, magic side’s number one tour guide of Academy City, where do you want to go now? I’m sure you’ll pick out something amazing again.” After his comment, he immediately stood still. It was because he realized that was being an absolute bother and at worst, he realized Touma inherited a freeloading tendency.”I-if it is within reason, of course! Yes!” He stared off to the side, lamenting his behavioral failure.
